Review of Playamo

Rated 1 out of 5 stars

(UNRESOLVED)designed to take money from players and avoid paying out any legitimate winnings.

I deposited €430 and played from Germany — a country that is not restricted in Playamo’s own Terms and Conditions. After winning €4,000 fairly, they closed my account and confiscated my entire balance, claiming I violated rules related to my country of residence (Netherlands), even though I was physically in Germany when playing.

They accepted my deposit with no issue, allowed me to play, and only after I won did they suddenly decide to apply this so-called “restriction.” I cooperated fully and provided all required identity and banking details, but they refused to release the winnings.

Be very careful. This platform operates in a highly unethical and predatory manner, and uses ambiguous rules to avoid paying players. I have filed a formal complaint on Casino Guru and AskGamblers.

Avoid Playamo at all costs.

Thank you for your reply.

To clarify: I deposited €430 and played on your platform using a German IP address. At no point was I warned, blocked, or informed that there was any issue with my account. Your system allowed me to register and play freely.

It was only after I won €4,000 and tried to complete the withdrawal that I was suddenly asked for verification — and then had my account closed before the process was even finished. This feels extremely unfair.

Additionally, there is a serious contradiction in your Terms and Conditions:

– Your website says: “Using VPN is not restricted, however, it may lead to malfunction.”
– Your PDF terms say: “Using VPN to bypass blocks is strictly prohibited and may lead to confiscation of winnings.”

This is misleading for players. If VPN use or country of residence were truly restricted, that should be clearly enforced at the time of registration or deposit — not after a large win.

I hope PlayAmo will take this seriously and resolve my case fairly. I will continue my complaint through Casino Guru.

Dear Wade,

We are deeply concerned and sorry to hear about your extremely frustrating experience and the serious claims you've made. We want to assure you that Playamo is not a scam, and we take your feedback and your complaints on Casino Guru and AskGamblers very seriously.

We understand how upsetting it is to have an account closed and winnings confiscated, especially after a successful deposit and win. We must clarify that our policies regarding country restrictions are in place to ensure we operate within our regulatory framework.

Your specific case—being in Germany while the restriction was linked to the Netherlands—is highly unusual and requires a full review. Please contact our support team immediately with your account details so we can understand the specific circumstances and work to resolve this.

Regards,
Playamo Casino Team
