Good for about a year

I enjoyed the bird feeder -- while it worked. I received it, along with the solar panel charger, as a gift. About a year later, the camera wasn't being charged. I called the Birdfy support line and they went through several steps with me and verified it wasn't working. They asked me to plug something else into the solar panel to see if it would charge this other device. First, I didn't have another device I could plug the solar panel into. If I did, I still wouldn't have done it because I couldn't be certain that the panel wouldn't harm the other device. They didn't offer to replace the solar panel until I could verify that it wasn't charging.


Update: Birdfy has contacted me. I’ll update with what they decide to do about this issue.

Update (6/5/25): I supplied all of the information they requested, then they went radio silent. I've sent a couple more emails asking about the process with no response. I was initially hopeful, but I guess they just wanted a reply on here to make it look like they support their product.
