Beware - scammers

Ordered a £210 camera, they claimed that it had shipped and gave a Royal Mail tracking number but RM confirmed they had not received it. Multiple emails and texts totally ignored, I have now begun the process with my bank to recover the payment and will be advising Trading Standards about these scammers.

Dear Customer,

We sincerely apologise for the frustration and disappointment caused by your experience. We completely understand how important it is to receive timely updates and responses, and we are truly sorry that our communication did not meet your expectations.

Due to a high volume of customer enquiries, our support team responds in order of receipt. Unfortunately, sending multiple emails pushes the latest message to the top of the queue, which can unintentionally delay responses. We appreciate your patience and deeply regret any inconvenience this may have caused.

Regarding your order, we acknowledge that the tracking status created confusion, as Royal Mail tracking numbers are generated in advance before the package is physically handed over to the courier. We are continuously working to improve this process to provide clearer and more transparent updates.

We understand that you have initiated a refund request through your bank, and we fully respect your decision. Please rest assured that we are committed to resolving such issues fairly and responsibly.

We appreciate your feedback and will use it to improve our service. If there is anything further we can do to assist, please don’t hesitate to contact us.

Sincerely,
eGadgetsdeal
