Review of BackupVault: Extremely Unprofessional and Unwelcoming

I had a highly disappointing experience with BackupVault. Our business was looking for a reliable backup solution, and we reached out to them to discuss their services and get a quote. Unfortunately, the entire process was a nightmare from start to finish.

From the beginning, their team was incredibly hostile. They were unhelpful and seemed annoyed by our inquiries. We were simply trying to understand the costs and discuss how their services could meet our business needs. Instead of providing clear information or even a basic price range, they outright refused to provide any details unless we signed up first. This is an absurd way to do business — expecting a company to commit without even knowing what they’re getting into.

To make matters worse, when we requested a call to discuss things further, they flat-out ignored our request. It felt as if they didn't want our business at all. This kind of rude and dismissive behavior is unacceptable. It shows a complete lack of professionalism and makes it clear that they have no interest in building positive relationships with potential customers.

I would strongly advise any business to steer clear of BackupVault. There are plenty of other companies out there that value their customers and are willing to provide the necessary information upfront without playing games. BackupVault is not worth your time or effort.

Thank you for your detailed feedback. I am sorry you feel like this. As you can see, we have over 100x 5 star Trustpilot reviews and this is the only 1 star we have ever received.

As you are aware, this is the 6th time you have contacted us asking for pricing, which we have given you in the past. Your current backup solution you sell to your customers is Acronis, which is also the same vendor we sell and would recommend in your situation, so there is little more value we can add.

Previously you have received prices from us in the past, multiple times. Our follow up phone calls and emails are subsequently ignored. You then enquire again a few months later and the cycle continues.

As you also know, “they outright refused to provide any details unless we signed up first” is also not true. I can see that over 85% of your other Trustpilot reviews are also 1 star. I am not sure why it could be that you always seem to have bad experiences with others.

As we have said to you, it doesn’t look we are the best fit for your business. I wish you the best finding a backup specialist that can work with you.
