Hopeless communication and rude audiologist

Booked a hearing test after my husband had had one. Audiologist rang to say it had to be a “private” one as we were not in the “right” area for an NHS one. I queried this as my husband had had a free test with same clinic. The Outside clinic person told me to make an appointment with an NHS provider through my GP and failed to visit. The manager later rang me after I had complained and said although the test was “private “ it was free and only hearing aids would have to be paid for.
