I cancelled my account online a week ago. You receive no response to show you have submitted your request via the online cancellation form. I have been direct messaging via twitter and was told 48 hours, then 5 days and still nothing to confirm my request. This is just yet another example of the absolutely horrendous service Virgin media have provided during our unfortunate time with them. The final insult was notification of them increasing their price in July of this year by €4. Bringing it to €71 euro a month for less than 500 mbs of broadband only. Speed tests constantly showed way less then this and we had frequent outrages and dropped connections. Extremely unreliable especially as needed for work. Switched to SIRO with Vodafone. Do far excellent customer service and 1 GB of fibre for €45 a month. My advice to anyone would be to stay away as we have only ever had negative experiences with Virgin. Over priced, unreliable and brutal customer service. Would give zero stars if it were an option.
