Zero Stars! Stay away from OOMA
I would give them zero stars if I could. Horrible customer service; terrible function of the equipment. It worked well AT FIRST, but after a couple of months we started having issues: device frequently went offline, troubleshooting did not help. Calling customer service resulted in repeating the same self-troubleshooting steps suggested in their app (in other words, they couldn’t help). The device itself had lights that stopped working, too… but they kept insisting our internet was the issue, not their device or service. We have a smart home and everything is connected to our internet and everything worked (and still works) except their service; yet they kept insisting the issue was not at their end and refused to replace my device which clearly wasn’t functioning. After months of trying to resolve this to no avail, I cancelled and went with another carrier. To add insult to injury, it took 30 minutes on the phone to cancel this service because they kept trying to convince me to stay. It’s ironic that they ‘cared’ about my experience but only when I called to cancel. Agents do not speak or understand English well, either, which probably did not help. Would never recommend them.
