This review is on the Dream Maker/300 - Low Cost for a Reason
This review is on the Dream Maker/ Aquarest Select 300, the 2-seater spa itself.
We were reluctant to buy an entry-level-priced product because of other incidents over the years, but the glossy ads and the generally well-marketed product line got us. We arrived at our new home in VA and ordered the 2-seater and it took over 2 months to arrive.
We sat it up on our deck and used it 4 times and it quit. Wayfair, sent us a new one, and we gave the old one away. The purchaser bought a controller. It's worked fine for almost a year.
The new one experienced the same problem- controller failure. Wayfair wiped it's hands of the transaction and refunded $3000. We bought a new controller for $400 and it worked for 5 more hot tub sessions. Then the pump/motor went out.
I filled out the customer survey form on the mfg's website and of course they never called, I called them and they said what I expected- too bad, so sad.
I finally found a pump/motor for $250 (about $100 than the mfg wanted) and just ordered it.
Let the buyer beware. So much for the hot tub experience.
