Review of Dyno-Rod

No-show time-wasters

I phoned Dyno Rod to book an engineer to deal with an urgent plumbing issue that involved water constantly leaking from my sink upstairs.

Dyno Rod advised that an engineer would come out to me later that evening, and that they would phone me half an hour before they arrived. I waited all evening, while constantly bailing out water created by the leak and trying to resolve the issue myself, but nobody came or called.

The next day I phoned Dyno Rod to ask why nobody came to deal with my urgent issue and they said that, as I wasn't a British Gas customer, they couldn't help me. They had asked me on my initial call if I was a British Gas customer and I'd said 'no' but they didn't say at the time that that would be an issue, and told me explicitly that my emergency appointment with an engineer was booked for that evening.

So basically, I spent all evening dealing with an emergency waiting for Dyno Rod to come, when if they had just been honest from the start I could have BOOKED A PLUMBER WHO WOULD ACTUALLY SHOW UP.

Dyno Rod are time wasters who have no compassion or consideration for anyone dealing with urgent and stressful situations.
