Unfortunately, the manufacturer's labeling on my most recent purchase was inaccurate: labelled US Size 8, equivalent to the UK Size 7-1/2 I had ordered, the shoes were in fact a full size larger and I was obliged to return them. All credit to Wide Fit Shoes, therefore, who acknowledged safe return within 24 hours and refunded the purchase price in full the same day. Happy to recommend them to anybody.
