Just back from a fab holiday with Canvas. We stayed at Verdon Parc one of their new sites. Our accommodation was spotless and loads of space. Thank goodness for the AC as France was in the midst of a heatwave.. the pool and playpark were perfect for my kids 1, 9 and 11 - they had so much fun. And the surrounding areas were beautiful - we visited the Gorges of Verdon one of the most stunning places I've visited - we took the older kids out on a kayak - they loved it.
The site is less than an hour from Marseille but you really need a car for supermarket trips and exploring the area. I saw on site there were some mobile homes with hot tubs - looked very nice indeed. Canvas staff were really helpful and offered lots of advice when we booked. No Canvas rep on site, the reps we did see seemed friendly enough though most didn't speak English.
