SCAM
SCAM. Don’t purchase. They’ll sign you up for a subscription you can’t get out of even though we never signed up for one. Buyer Beware
Do not buy an Xplora watch, scam!
I would not recommend buying a Xplora watch, the Customer service is the worst I have ever experience, they do not answer or answer very late or even nothing at all. They do not solve the issues and the website is badly usabel, the chat bot does nit work and there is no way to contact with anyone that can solve the problem, for a costly watch this is totally unaccebtable. Plus GPS does not work accurately as well. I would give them less than a star, a pitty since I had bought one watch here and it was good, the second now brings me to the conclusion to cut them both out.
Please dont waste your money.
People saying this watch is good, I just cant understand how. Its a watch and u cant change the time on it. Its location is shocking, that's if u can get it to update. When ringing it, it usually takes me upto 10 times to just get it to ring. Its customer service, doesn't seem to exist. Currently its stuck on school mode and even though I've turned off school mode in the app and then deleted it. Its still in bloody school mode.
Please please dont waste your money, would be better off getting one on shien or ali express.
Im trying to think of one good thing about it and I cant. If it did wat its sappose to do then id say it would be good. But honestly a watch that u can't change the time on says enough 😂 😆
Location accuracy is terrible watch…
Location accuracy is terrible watch shows as around 100 yards away from house when watch is in house. Watch location doesn't refresh when you hit refresh, tried emailing to ask about location and received no reply. Also whilst in school mode it doesn't appear to count steps which was a big reason for ordering as wanting to get son more mobile and interested in step count
Poor customer support
Their customer support is incredibly frustrating to deal with! I have had to wait 2 weeks to get a response to each email so overall taken me 2 months to get a label to return the watch. I’ve dealt with customer service longer than we’ve actually had the watch!

We have the XGO3 watch for my autistic child. While the watch is good, we have had problems with it. Customer service is very slow as they can only be contacted by email. It can take days to get a response and the lack of a helpline number to call is a real problem. We sent an email on 14th September and did not get a response until 23rd. When we replied to the email on the 23rd September we did not get a response until 2nd October. It’s very frustrating.
Literally the worst customer service…
Literally the worst customer service ever. Terrible software.
Decent Childs Smart Watch
We bought an Xplora XGO2 and it faulted within a year, Xplora sent out an XGO3 instead, as they didn't have the XGO2 in stock anymore.
XGO3 looks better and has a better battery life than the XGO2, so it's not bad.
Like the fact that you can set who your child can call, and only those people can call him.
Also, the parent is in control of when the Watch is in "School Mode". When in School mode, all it does is show you the time; you cannot call, text, take pictures, browse the gallery, or use the calculator. These are pretty much all you can do on the watch
Terrible customer service
Terrible customer service. Couldn’t get the watch to work. Couldnt get someone to communicate with me. Had to return watch
Still waiting for my refund
Watch and phone - both overall great but gps not reliable
Have both the watch and the new phone. Agree the Set up is horrendous & very tricky and I recall it took several days of messing around to sort out, esp with the phone. But once set up, esp with the phone, it actually works brilliantly.
However the gps and tracking is very poor for both the watch and the phone. Often one works and the other doesn’t, wherever we are in the uk, with no obvious reason for the lack of functional gps..
The X6Play is fragile and irreparable
The X6Play is advertised as robust, hence fit for kids and furthermore sustainable.
Unfortunaley none of the above is true. The screen of the watch broke on day two during regular play and cannot be repaired. Customer service is unfortunately no help.
With this Xplora also fails to comply with European legislation.
I stronlgy warn against purchasing this product.
give it a miss. 1 star
The setup is not intuitive. customer service is slow and doesn't work on weekends....chatbot is a joke. It's patchy at best. app logs us out every time we close it down. my children are unable to send more than 1-2 sec messages. quite often the location is completely wrong.
The watch itself is nice. the tech is terrible
Fraudulent business
It’s been two week and I have not received the product.
There is no customer support which I can contact.
Their chatbot is useless.
There is no tracking information for the shipment.
I’m calling this a scam.
Awful customer services!
Awful services!! If you have a problem or need a refund you have to fight for it!!! Still waiting for a refund - sent watch back ages ago!! That was an effort in itself to actually get a form to refund it.
Now no word from anyone even though I have confirmation they’ve received watch back. Avoid!!!
Diabolically bad.
Diabolically bad.
Phone setup wouldn't work. After spending hours and hours emailing customer service with no solution or useful help I've given up and I'm sending it back. Waste of money, time and sanity!
Honestly don’t bother
Honestly don’t bother. I wish I had read the reviews before purchasing.
Everything about this watch has been painful. The original watch purchased late June 2025 stopped working. Requested support from customer services and after so many emails back and forth asking for repeat information and photos finally I was sent a replacement watch today but it has no sim. They want to charge for a replacement sim even though the first watch had an eSIM.
When the watch was working the App is clumsy and overall just not as good as it should be.
And for four months I’ve been paying the direct debit membership fee for a watch that cannot be used.
Please what ever you do don’t purchase this item.
SIM card blocked without reason – no solution after multiple requests
I bought the Explorer XG03 and even decided to use the official SIM from Xplora to avoid any problems. Still, my SIM card was suddenly blocked without any valid reason, even though I only used the device for normal calls.
I have already submitted three requests through their contact form, but I still have not received any solution. This is extremely frustrating and unprofessional. A customer should not have to beg just to get basic functionality restored.
The product is useless if the SIM can just be deactivated at any time, and the so-called support process feels like a dead end. Very disappointing experience – I regret subscribing to this service.
This sounds like it should be a…
This sounds like it should be a fabulous alternative to a smart phone for your child. However the access to customer service is extremely difficult- it would be helpful if it could be accessed through the parent app. The tracking was hit and miss, and often didn't show my child in the correct location. Whilst this wasn't the main reason we got the watch I imagine it may be frustrating for others. My child had limited ability to send messages to anyone other than the named parent and even then was limited to pre scripted messages. He therefore wasn't that keen on using the watch and would only get it out if he wanted to call someone. It could be so much better.
The Xplora watch is a great concept but…
The Xplora watch is a great concept but in practice the watch is HUGE on a childs wrist. Physically is is bigger than my husbands AppleWatch Ultra. The connectivity is patchy at best, the sync between watch and app is hopeless and the 'tracking' is very basic, taking forever to show movement which is not good when my 10year old is just starting to walk home from school.
Safety risk, appalling service, no response
I bought an Xplora watch for my son for peace of mind and his safety. Without warning or explanation, Xplora blocked the SIM card, leaving the watch completely unusable. There was no abnormal usage, no breach of terms – nothing to justify this.
I have sent numerous emails to Xplora support over several weeks. Not a single reply - radio silence. The lack of response is absolutely unacceptable from a company selling products marketed around child safety.
By blocking the SIM and ignoring repeated requests for help, Xplora has compromised my child’s ability to contact us in an emergency. That is not just poor customer service it is a safety issue.
I expected better from a brand positioning itself around trust and security at a premium price. Instead, I have been left with an expensive device that doesn’t work, zero communication, and no confidence in Xplora as a company.
Parents: think very carefully before trusting Xplora with your child’s safety.
