The reception team and the hygienist Jodie are so lovely. Professional and friendly.

Unfortunately, I have had a bad experience with the dentist Dr Basra. I felt dismissed in my original new patient check-up when I tried speaking about what I had discussed with my last dentist, he spoke over me quickly so I couldn’t explain why I was asking questions. I left this as I thought maybe he wasn’t having the best day.

I had to come back for a filling, and I have to say this is probably the poorest I have been treated. Especially when you are paying private fees you expect a level of time and care that I didn’t get.

The process of the filling was not explained at all. The chair was still wet from the wipe down of the last patient which made me feel the nurse was being rushed to get patients in quickly. As soon as the nurse had given me the goggles and bib, Dr Basra had the needle ready and only told me he was injecting me as the needle was already forcefully shoved into my jaw. I have had treatment before and the injection has never hurt so much.

The filling was done very quickly and I was not checked on during the treatment other than when they first started drilling. I was not consulted on the shade of the filling. I was under the impression that the filling wouldn’t be large, and now I have a very large filling that is two shades darker than the rest of my teeth.

Most upsetting was that when treatment was finished, I was barely acknowledged. The dentist’s back was immediately to me and I had to be the one to thank them and say goodbye asking if I need another check-up, him barely turning to face me other than to tell me that I should go ahead with the rest of his treatment plan. No aftercare instructions were given. I was not told how long the numbing would last, if I could expect pain or what to look out for if treatment failed.

I have been taking paracetamol as the injection site is bruised, tender and I have limited opening. The tooth filled is also sensitive to cold and has a sharp pain when chewing which I did not have before, the reason for the filling was that the surface of the tooth was dark although there wasn’t anything obvious decay on the X-ray.

I decided to trust the dentist and I wish I hadn’t. I was shaking so much after I left the surgery the receptionist even asked with genuine concern if I was okay as I was trying to make the payment. I wish I had spoken up but I was shaken and just wanted to get myself home.

Unfortunately, extra payment was taken but communication with the reception team has been good so hopefully this is sorted soon.

Considering Dr Basra’s about me on the website specifically states “Special Interest : Cosmetic Dentistry & Smile Makeover Reconstruction” I feel £150 for a large, flat, dark filling is disappointing.

I feel like there is a lack of care about the person in the chair. His goal is to see as many people as possible with no pride in his work at all.

I have probably spent 45 minutes in the dental chair here and have spent £231 with Dr Basra to go from a happy, confident patient to actually feeling vulnerable. Not all dentists are bad, I have only had good experiences before, but here I would recommend bringing someone with you and speaking up if doesn't feel right. I was too scared to, and I regret it.

Required two appointments for an infection and extraction. staff were great at finding me appointments and Harry and team were great with both discussing options and then providing the treatment.

On time, empathetic professional treatment, exactly as promised.

The more intricate your needs become the more you realise just how exceptional his skills and care are.

Together Dental in Wellingborough provides a first class dental service. My own dentist Dr Hodges has been looking after me for a number of years and is extremely experienced, professional and skilled. I have total confidence in him and the staff at the Practice.

This was the end of treatment which supplied a new denture, the denture is a perfect comfortable fit, looks good especially as it was a frontal denture.

I had a hygienist appointment with Brodie at the Wellingborough practice. I have seen several hygienists at this practice & I must say Brodie is the best I’ve ever seen, she made me feel calm & was very friendly & gentle.

Receptionists are really friendly & helpful at the Wellingborough branch, and the boys' dental therapist, Alpha, is lovely,she is very professional, calming, and really puts the boys at ease.
The surgery got my son in really quickly for a chipped tooth and speed and service were amazing, the only downside is that it is in the old part of town and the parking is very hit and miss.

Very pleased with my appointment everyone at the dental practice was very polite and helpful and the dentist was really good, and a very relaxed athmosphere considering its a dentist. I had no complaints or concerns.
