Dreadful customer service. Delivery for 07/11/2025 confirmed by store manager on 31/10/2025 and by text on the 01/11/2025. Text received today (04/11/2025) that the delivery is cancelled and there is no new delivery date. No contact number provided, phoned store who couldn’t help or advise when the sofa would arrive or be delivered and said the earliest they could look at this would be 06/11/2025 and there is no manager available to speak to until 10/11/2025.

Another piece of sofa was left in the road.
Rushing the job and taking no care to ensure a smooth transition into my home.
And they also chipped my doorframe!

For all you who have suffered within the hands of SCS there is light at the end of the tunnel.
After 5 months of diabolical customer service i finally got a full refund of £5.5k.
This was after a visit to the CAB who were absolutely fantastic beyond belief.
Please dont let the bastards grind you down as there is light at the end of the tunnel.

The delivery drivers Matt and Steven were on time and rang to tell me the time they would arrive... they were very polite and put the furniture exactly where I wanted it...
Ordering was easy and delivery was excellent.

Absolutely brilliant communication, excellent customer service and the delivery guys were amazing. They carefully (so as to not scratch the new oak flooring) placed my new sofa exactly where I wanted it and were really helpful.

Greeted by Louisa when I tried a recliner chair, but I'd gone in for a powered two seater recliner sofa with adjustable headrest. An easy sale for Louisa really, as I already had in mind what I wanted, I just needed to get the correct size for space I have, and the comfort I need. She was friendly and informative, and I ordered. Since ordering yesterday I have seen quite a few negative reviews on delivery and quality of the various sofas that you sell! I'm now concerned as to whether I've done the right thing in ordering?! Time will tell!
We were impressed by the store itself, the staff (particularly Irene who served us) and the value for money. We bought a lounge suite from them many years ago and now is the time to replace it. Having been pleased with the old one, we returned to SCS at Stoke on Trent. I can't yet comment on delivery or durability as it arrives in 3 months, but going by our experience with the old suite, we have confidence that all will be well.
Irene was so patient, gave us all the information we needed and answered our MANY questions- even moved the sofas around in the showroom to help visualise the chairs together. Matched an online price as well, really recommend going in store!
Not happy that the delivery men didn’t unpack or take the packaging away with them , and they didn’t deliver the cleaning kit .

Zero stars ! My elderly parents ordered a sofa back in January, were told delivery would be end April, I can't remember what date they gave them anyway on delivery date no sofa was delivered after 2 days on the phone my mum got a call back and said it wouldn't be delivered now for another 4 weeks , buy this point my parents have got rid of there old sofa so now having nothing to sit on , so my parents went to the shop they ordered from Fenton stoke on trent ,and they were told it was totally scs fault and they were offered a temporary sofa to be delivered on the Tues after bank holiday , low and behold no sofa turned up , so yet again they went back to the shop who said it would be delivered Friday, guess what my mum has recieved 2 txt messages today saying no temporary sofa is being delivered and the new sofa will be coming 15th may BUT they want paying the whole amount of the sofa before they will deliver it (depo already paid) , well no chance not a cat in hells chance is the new sofa getting paid for until it's delivered , so yet again they have got to pay a visit to the shop , because it's impossible to get thru on the phone , my parents are elderly who have had no sofa to sit on now for over 2 weeks , please please please avoid avoid avoid scs like the plague, just absolutely shocking treatment of paying customers !!!!!

Carl was helpful showed us exactly what we were looking for wanted black leather rise recliner chair price was reasonable just a long wait for delivery but delivery was free we have had furniture from SCS before so hopefully will be satisfied with purchase we were a few years ago store looked nice will look forward to completing experience in July
The sales assistant was very helpful , finding the correct furniture and fabric that i wanted , also giving me space to look around with out over powering me but was there for any help i needed, lovely chatty lady made me and my husband feel comfatable .
