So, since the scammers have been stirred up, it’s time to explain in detail.

You are essentially subscribing by accident to a so-called “discount service.” Let’s take a closer look at what kind of discounts these are. For example, the AliExpress website — they give you exactly the same discounts that the site itself already offers (what bad luck, you might think).

And so it goes with about 10 or 15 websites listed on their page. In other words, they are charging you €21 per month for something you could just as easily find directly on the suppliers’ websites.

Even a genuinely useful tool (like ChatGPT) looks modest in comparison.

To repeat, the terms of this service are unclear and fraudulent.

They signed my Father up for a subscription or something ?? on the basis of a couple clicks on a french language site. All he wanted to do was book a hotel room, with a different company.

Getting out of this underhanded arrangement is proving difficult if not impossible!!

We've made it quite clear to EMILE that we want to unsubscribe and yet he/she continues to take the p*** out of him with emails that go round in circles.

My Dad is 80 years old and not fluent in French!!

Have a conscience and cancel your unwanted service. It quite clear what we are asking of you.

I'm not completely stupid and yet I cant work our how we get out of this. In fact , I cant even work out what he's signed up for.

The refund never came. Is this a fraud?

I have never entered into any contract with Remises et Reductions, yet they have been withdrawing €21 from my account every month. I have contacted them to cancel this and request a refund, to which I have not received a reply thus far. This is a scam—stay away from this company!

Reply to the response: If things are as you say, why do you not respond to my mail? I invite you to provide a proof of our contract. This being impossible of course, since I am in no contract with your enterprise.

I am referring to a similar scam I am copying here. It is the same for us. We signed for a discount not to have every month a withdraw not authorized. Plus the answer from the service client is to call a 0800 number? But if one lives abroad, sure there must be another way? Even the email for the client service says it acknowledges the email but no answer yet. And to stop all I need t block my card. Absolutely not ok.

What’s worse is that I don’t even reside in the country where this company operates.

It all started with an alleged 12-euro discount for a train ticket, a discount I never requested or wanted. Since then, I’ve been charged monthly amounts that far exceed this so-called discount.

nous avons un Service Client qui est joignable au 0800 908 444 l'appel est gratuit. ???? Il est plus simple de nous contacter pour demander la résiliation que de faire croire à un usage abusif pour faire une fausse déclaration à votre assurance. Je vous rappelle que vous avez obligatoirement du remplir notre formulaire d'adhésion. Il est fort probable que vous l'ayez oublié mais n'affabulez pas en inventant une autre histoire que la réalité. J'en profite pour vous inviter à nous contacter car en l'état il semble que vous fassiez allusion à une autre société que la notre.

I want to share an unpleasant experience to warn you about a company engaging in unauthorized bank withdrawals.

For over a year, this company has been withdrawing large amounts from my account, totaling more than 40,000 yen (approximately 250 euros), even though I never signed a contract or gave any consent for these transactions. What’s worse is that I don’t even reside in the country where this company operates.

It all started with an alleged 12-euro discount for a train ticket, a discount I never requested or wanted. Since then, I’ve been charged monthly amounts that far exceed this so-called discount.

This is a blatant scam, and I want everyone to be extremely cautious if you are contacted by this company or notice suspicious charges on your account.

If this happens to you, I strongly recommend contacting your bank immediately to block these charges and request a refund. Don’t hesitate to share your experience
