Store #442 Publix best pharmacist

We are frequent Pharmacy visitors, i am the frequent visitor to pick up. since you can see i have too many medicines to pick up for an Asian Indian thickest accent man. I wanted to really appreciate is Mrs. Chi Duong -best and outstanding Pharmacy manager-highly helpful, quick, efficient and she would be a great asset. In the Pharmacy Technician Alex or not sure of his spelling-tall, good, highly capable, honest, customer-oriented ...truly efficient. People like him should be recognized. In the Store: To recognize: one: David is a great manager, Store staff: Nadia, Jaine, Joe, Julie, and Patrick are all formidable, great worth recognizing. Patrick, Julie, and few others are dedicated to this Publix Store. Please add Angela and LIz in the Bakery. As you can see, I have been coming 20 + years back when Mark Whitt was a general manager. Way back. He retired 18 years ago, I guess. Thanks & Best Regards,

lowest quality products of any major supermarket

I've been using this app called 'Bobby Approved' for a while now. It gives thumbs up/down according to ingredients listed in food and HBA products. When I started using it in Publix to scan food products, I see that 90% of the food stocked and offered by this company is just UNhealthy, with ingredients that border on poison!! It is very difficult to find anything in their entire (gigantic) store/s. The quality of groceries is horrific, maybe in line with ALDIs, but their prices are 2-3x ALDIs, which must be the bottom of the barrel in the US. This is a HUGE, corporate-run entity and I don't see them changing their culture anytime soon. Not sure how they are still in business but it goes to show you how uneducated the US population is about what's in our food/health and beauty products.

I’m so disgusted with Publix prices

I’m so disgusted with Publix prices! On top of that they quit carrying so many of the items that I use. a lot of the Vigo products and so much more. They’re making so much money that one of their purchaser is buying handbags that cost more than $10,000. In addition to all that terrible stuff they give me a receipt yesterday, the cashier takes the time to circle where I can take a survey to get $1000 in groceries. Of course the survey even from their website takes you to another website that demands your phone number in order to do the survey. Who wants to give out your phone number these days as we’re all getting so many scams and most have been hacked. I’m just disgusted! boo on you Publix. #YouWereMyStoreNowYouSuck
PS my cashier Elizabeth W. in the St. Petersburg store treated the customer in front of me extremely poorly! Which is what prompted this review. Store number 0640 and your store is part of the problem.

employees denigrating Charlie Kirk after he was shot

I was shopping and overheard 2 employees bad mouthing Charlie Kirk after he was shot. I interrupted them to say as a customer I should not be hearing this. The woman told me that the other employee A SHE was not talking to me. I said Well HE was talking loud enough for me to hear him. She then told me that SHE was a SHE I looked at the other individual and said NO HE IS A HE, I said he can be whoever he wants to in his world but In my world He's a He. The man had make-up and earings etc. but was clearly a man. She then angerly told me that if I continued this vulgar language, she would have me thrown out the store. I said because I called HIM a HIM you're going to have me thrown out the store? I went and told this to the night manager, and got the corporate phone number. I followed up the next day and in the 3 weeks since I tried 3 times calling Corporate and asked for someone from Publix contact me regarding this treatment of a 10 year customer. Each time I was told someone will follow up with you I now see how Publix employees are because the management doesn't even feel it necessary to take a few minutes to call what was a good customer. It's literally 1/4 mile from my home. I will now take my business to Walmart a few miles away, It's clear Publix and it's employees and more importantly the management and upper management feel it is OK for it's employees to demean a man shot in the neck in front of his kids is OK to talk about in isle 5 during open hours. I guess upper management also feels it's OK for employees to threaten a customer for calling a MAN a HE Publix lost a good customer I'm sure they wont miss my 100 bucks a week but hopefully others see this and decide too that this nonsense is not where we want to shop

Retaliation game

Publix store Dania Florida. Training me to work in their liquor store. 8 training days spread over a month...how can you retain what you learned? Took my concerns to corporate... store mgrs. retaliated by accusing me of slandering another mgr.... Asst. mgr. said 'several people heard you.' When I asked their names he refused to tell me. Cut my shifts to one a week. Heard from corporate...told them my story. They said they'd talk to manager Dave and he would call me. Never got a courtesy call from him...bruised his ego I guess. Started a FT job elsewhere...good riddance Publix!

Poorly Prepared food from the deli.

Once again, I got garbage food from the deli. I shopped at 4:30 or so and purchased a rotisserie chicken with a 6:30 best use time. I got it home and it was completely dried out. They regularly label things with a best use time that is beyond what it should be, or possibly change the best use by time when the product doesn't sell by that time.

I get that they are a monopoly, but sooner or later a smart operator will come into the markwt, challenge their dominance, and Publix will get their clock cleaned, Couldn't happen soon enough.

Usually shopping here isn't an issue…

Usually shopping here isn't an issue but the fun times of meeting the most disgusting condescending manager Arthur, the meat manger at store 1017. Not only did his staff member Thomas, argue with me about a product I know they have, I had to involve another manager named Chris just to get Thomas to at least ask someone else named Richard who also has no clue and decided to join in with his nasty attitude, then comes Arthur, the meat manger of the department. It all makes sense now why these teams members had such poor service. Arthur walks in with his condescending and antagonist attitude escalating the situation more, tries to then project his disgusting attitude on me. I fully understand why he has been passed over for promotion. Arthur, if this is how you treat customers I can't understand why you're even a manager, considering you have zero de-escalation skills, considering your staff started it and you just couldn't wait to join in. Oh and this is the MANAGER In CHARGE for the night. DISGUSTING.

Great personal customer service

I always receive really great customer service from Publix at Waterside Village near Hamilton Place in Chattanooga TN.

Brittany in the Deli did everything to retrieve and confirm an order I'd placed online that wasn't at first obvious when she looked. She was kind, very pleasant and professional.

Brett in the meat department always helps me pick the best cut of filets, and if what I'm wanting isn't out, he takes the time to cut the ounce I prefer. Publix's filet mignon's are delicious.

Mark and Karl are always helpful at the customer service desk, as was Deanna and a few other associates whose names I'm having difficulty recalling at this time.

Thank you Publix team and crew for All your hard work. You are The Ones who make the difference ❤️

I don’t like being accused of stealing

I don’t like being accused of stealing. When I walked in the door the employee was standing at the self checkout looking like she was ready to pounce on someone. I told her that is how she looked and she replied” I’m just doing my job”. When I used the self check out she decided to give me a hard time because I scanned all the items in my cart before I placed them in bags. My job is to make things easy on me not your watch dog who treats customers like dogs. If she doesn’t like the way I scan things she can get off her high horse and scan my items herself. She had no right to accuse me of stealing because I didn’t scan her way. I have been shopping at Publix for over 25 years and have always been friendly and liked by staff. This lady needs some customer service training or given a job she doesn’t have to deal with the public because obviously she has an attitude problem. Every time I enter your store I usually spend between $200 and $400. If I encounter this lady again I will walk out and do my shopping elsewhere. If your store is being robbed I suggest you
Open more registers so I don’t have to scan my own items. This was one time I only went in for a few items and not my whole shopping list and I can’t believe I was harassed over a $29.31 receipt.
