Helpful and good advice. Quick response and excellent friendly service at a very competitive price.
I called through in a panic the day before my visit, after coming out of work to a flat tyre. This was on a new tyre fitted 4 weeks ago elsewhere, and on which I had already had to return to the original place of fitting due to issues with the other tyre they had fitted.
I called the branch at 5:20pm and spoke to Lee, who was absolutely fantastic. He told me to bring the car in for 8:30am the next day.
When I arrived I was greeted by a friendly member of staff at reception who confirmed that even though I had no official booking, they would look at both tyres for me. 30 mins later and I found out I had one faulty valve and one tyre which had not been cleaned or fitted properly, so air was escaping.
After such an awful experience elsewhere, these guys have completely reassured me. I help care for my dad who has dementia, so my car is essential to me. I would like them all to know just how much their speedy service was appreciated.
The added bonus was a report on my tyres and brakes. A recent MOT declared both items needed sorting ASAP, but the assessment shows that was not the case.
Good luck to Lee in his move to Chester as well - he will love it there!

Daren and Ivan were amazing from start to finish. I originally went in needed my MOT and they fitted me in straight away. I then went in to have two tyres fitted. After a chaotic morning as a newborn mom, I was offered a coffee and friendly faces!
Great service for a last minute booking for an mot

Given a 10:30 time slot (please be on time) then waited 1.5hrs to have 2 tyres fitted.
Short staffed as an excuse is not good enough.
I’ll be going elsewhere.

I took my vehicle in to have two front tyres changed having had the rear tyres changed to snow and muds a few months ago.
I have now realised that they took off the rear tyres which were new and replaced them with identical tyres. The nearly new tyres were chucked in the skip!
My appointment was booked for 10.00 but it was 10.45 before the tyre fitting started and my total wait was in excess of 1.5 hours.
I now have to go in again to have the tyres fitted which have been removed from the skip. I suppose that I will have another long wait.
The old independent business A44 Fawlty Tyres gave marvellous service. This shower do not.

I had a very disappointing experience with this workshop.
I called in advance to order Goodyear Pro Efficiency 2 tires and was told they would arrive from Wales within two weeks. I was promised a call back for confirmation, but never received one. After chasing several times, I eventually placed an online order myself, and only then was I told the tires were actually in stock.
When I arrived for my appointment, I found that the tires were from different manufacturing years (three from 2024 and one from 2025), which had not been mentioned at all. The fitting took almost two hours, finishing right before closing time, and the complimentary front tracking I had been promised was not done. I had also prepaid for rear tracking, but this was refused because of a seized bolt — on a car from 2017, not exactly that old. I even suggested they heat the bolt, as any other tire service would, but they refused, giving the strange explanation that many years ago, a petrol station miles away had banned the use of a blowtorch. They wouldn’t even try WD-40. If this was their approach on a 2017 car, I can only imagine what would happen with a 2010 model. Because of this, neither the rear (paid) nor the front (free) tracking was done, and I am now waiting for a refund for the rear tracking.
On top of this, although I clearly stated that my new TPMS sensors were already programmed, the staff still tried to reprogram them, which could have led to extra charges.
Overall, very poor communication, lack of professionalism, and misleading service. I will not be returning for MOT, tires, or any other service, and I cannot recommend them based on my experience.
EDIT : After I left them a review, they replied asking me to send an email with my phone number so they could resolve my complaint. What do you think? I sent the email, and a week has passed — nobody contacted me. Don’t think that just because they apologize and ask you to send them an email, they will actually call you to resolve anything. It’s just for appearances, to wash away the bad review.
