Missed puncture

The tyre pressure warning light had come on- Honda Jazz. Protype garage in Ashbourne said there was a leak around the valve so sealed it. Next day while on motorway the tyre pressure light came on again and indeed the pressure was down . Took the car to Northampton Tyres who said Ashbourne had missed a puncture near the valve.New tyre fitted.
Subsequently Ashbourne refunded the cost of the valve resealing with a rather cursory apology.

Steering alignment.

I booked my car in to have the steering tracked after I had replaced some suspension components, which had set the steering wheel slightly off centre. The retracking was done, and they also did a full safety inspection and report including, tyre tread depths, a general underside component inspection, battery condition and all fluid levels. A print out of the found results was given to me proving that (thankfully) my 15 year old Alfa Romeo was still in fine fettle and safe. All this at no extra cost to me. The initial job was done plus a piece of mind to know that my car is safe. Top marks to Protyre Ashbourne, and I would not hesitate to use their services again.

Clanking noise investigated and fixed - happy customer

Booking was easy (not always necessary) but great to know I had a slot on a Saturday. My car was making an annoying clanking sound and that was pretty much all I gave them to go on. Phone call within a short space of time to advise on some work, which was carried out the same day. Parts were replaced at the price they said it would be and all sorted - cheaper and much more efficient than the main dealer.

Tyre purchase

Booked my car in for 2 new tyres.
Met by friendly staff at reception. Took my number to give me a call when car was ready to pick up. Estimated time 1 hour but was ready slightly earlier. Again friendly staff who took time to go through advisory notes.
