To clarify, PrivacyHawk’s tools focus on removing your personal data from data brokers, companies and unsubscribing you from legitimate companies that legally market or share your information. This reduces the amount of data circulating about you and, over time, helps cut down on marketing emails, phone calls, and other unwanted contact.

However, spam and phishing messages from scammers or spoofed numbers don’t follow these rules — they aren’t tied to legitimate data sources. Unfortunately, this type of fraud can’t be eliminated by our system. The best way to handle those is by continuing to block and report them through your email provider or phone carrier.
