Response time from online enquiry. Customer service operative Nicole was really helpful and polite eg selecting an engineer with plumbing and boiler experience as the problem was unknown. Engineer arrived within the hour was very thorough. He diagnosed and fixed the leak within an hour. He also tidied up afterwards. I would not hesitate to use them again or recommend Pimlico Plummers to others.
Sean came to fix a boiler fault late in the evening. He was courteous, fixed the problem, explained what he was doing very clearly, and pointed out other maintenance we needed to have done. He worked methodically and efficiently and took the time to answer questions. Excellent work and will definitely book again for routine service. Thank you.
Big thank you Chris Cochrane for the help today. He was really knowledgeable and fast with figuring out the leak issue we had in our bathroom. He quickly adapted to a new fault the arised during his visit and stayed longer to finish the job
Sean was a great person and was very knowledgeable. He helped me massively with my boiler and would highly recommend him.
Christopher was very polite, informative and explained every detail plus he offered recommendations - great work
Although you pay more we have always been able to get a plumber when needed and they have been professional and given clear feedback if any next steps are needed and ensured the work is done in a timely manner.
While it did take longer than expected for the plumber to turn up, he did tell me why, and when he did arrive, he did everything he could to make sure the job was done properly.

Finding a plumber isn’t always easy but I found using Pimlico plumbers very helpful. They called quickly after my enquiry and were able to come at a time convenient to me. The plumber who came out was very good, very helpful and sorted the problems out quickly. I’ll definitely use Pimlico again and would recommend them.

Really terrible experience with these people, they take absolutely no responsibility for mistakes. They don’t actually have plumbers of their own - just independent plumbers that they send out on jobs and they put a big mark up on. They quite in a really unclear way that my job ended up costing thousands more than I was expecting to pay..
These people are SCAMMERS. They got through the door and told us they couldn’t do the job, but refused to refund us the £200 we paid. At no point did they refer us to any terms and conditions that if they couldn’t do the job, that they would still take full payment. Seems very misleading and deceptive. Spoke to customer service but they refused to deal with the situation - we will be filing a consumer service complaint to the authorities.

They were efficient and punctual. They solved a complicated water issue for us and fitted their timings around accessing the water tank.

Great service from Hassam. Punctual, efficient and personable, Assam quickly brought his professionalism and expertise to bear on the problem and not only fixed it but also pointed out another potential fault that he was able to prevent immediately. I couldn’t have asked for a better heating engineer.

Booked as an annual boiler service. Sean took the trouble to advise about the issues he found before fixing them. Very considerate and thorough. Really happy with this service

What was supposed to be a simple handyman job turned into a nightmare of incompetence, miscommunication, and eye-watering costs.
I initially called Pimlico Plumbers to arrange a visit for two basic tasks:
Replacing a Velux window blind (held by 4 screws), and replacing a bath shower tap with the same model.
I called them twice to ensure the right tradesperson would be sent who could carry out both tasks, and both times they confirmed they'd send someone suitable. What happened next was a complete shambles:
Visit #1: A carpenter turned up. He replace the blind for 45 minutes (held up by 4 screws), but then told me he's not trained to replace taps and that a plumber was needed.
➤ Still got charged £120 for this.
Visit #2: They sent a plumber, who spent 2.5 hours replacing the tap and said he also fixed a small leak by tightening a joint. Only afterwards did he tell me we had bought the wrong tap model, one without a showerhead connection. That part was partly my fault, but shouldn’t a professional plumber check the replacement material before removing the old one or carrying out any works?
➤ Charged £225, with just 30 mins goodwill time.
Visit #3: After getting the correct tap, a third engineer turned up, spent 2 hours re-installing it, only to say the tap connectors are leaking and she needed to leave to get spare flexi-pipe.
➤ Final cost: a staggering £589.34.
So a basic job turned into a 3-visit saga by 3 different engineers, none of whom seemed to work directly for Pimlico (based on their mobile numbers showing other business names). This is not a professional, integrated company — it’s a glorified middleman passing jobs to random tradespeople.
To top it all off:
When I asked what warranty came with the work (after paying £934.34 for a tap replacement), the customer service rep said she needed to “check with the engineer.”
Really? Nearly £1,000 spent and you're not even sure if the work is guaranteed?
I could’ve gone with an Airtasker quoted for £200. Instead, I paid nearly 5 times more for a drawn-out, mismanaged, and unprofessional experience.
Avoid at all costs. Total rip-off.
