Took quite a while to activate. I have minimum limit for lights, bit can't cook or take shower with what they limited for a few days, until I called and it took almost two more days for normal usage.

I am a Mint client and have always been quite happy with their service, but today I was trying to arrange for one of our customers to have the electricity and gas reconnected in one of their empty rental properties so that work could be carried out there, and it was almost impossible to accomplish. The woman I spoke to couldn't take down the name and address, and she didn't understand that the customer doesn't live in the property. It was unbelievable. I don't even know if my customer took out a contract with them, because after an hour on the phone, I was completely exhausted and had to leave. I will never recommend the company to anyone again!

We are deeply sorry to hear about your bad experience. As you did not leave any specific information, we cannot provide a precise explanation. However, we can tell you that when subscribing to a contract, you need to be present in the house or at least know the name of the former tenant so that we can identify your meter properly. Without this information, it is not safe to subscribe a meter that might not be yours. I believe this is what happened in the case you describe, but once again, without further details, we cannot give you a more detailed answer. We regret that your experience was not satisfactory and wish you a pleasant day.

Have just received email that Mint Energy want personal information alas I won't be giving them out. We have ceased using them as a supplier. Just because contract is in partners name, doesn't disallow me from stating out experience.
