Extremely Disappointing Experience | Poor Customer Support and No Resolution
We ordered a product from Max ICT, only to realize shortly after that it was the wrong item. We promptly contacted customer service to initiate a return and exchange for the correct product. Unfortunately, the experience from that point on was incredibly frustrating.
The initial responses from customer support were slow and unhelpful, short replies with little to no explanation about the return process. When we asked for clarification on how to correctly follow their unclear return procedure, our emails were simply ignored. Despite multiple follow-ups, we never received a response again.
In the end, we were left with the wrong product and no support whatsoever. This level of service is completely unacceptable for any company, let alone one dealing in ICT hardware. Based on this experience, we will not be ordering from Max ICT again and cannot recommend them to others. Buyer beware.
Do not waste your time!
My order (Order # 16280205) an HP Guide Pin Screw Riser Z2 SFF G (HP Part No. M84894-001), placed on 6 June 2025, with a paid total of €96 including shipping.
Despite a stated delivery window of 4–7 days, the order has not shipped. I submitted a cancellation request, which was acknowledged, but no refund or shipment update has followed.
Payment was processed on 23 June, and their system now shows 27 June as the expected delivery date. As of today, the item has still not shipped, and I have received no tracking number or confirmation.
This delay and lack of fulfillment constitute a breach of contract under EU consumer protection law. As I did not receive a tracking confirmation or a full refund as promised, I will proceed to:
- File a formal complaint with ECC-Net (European Consumer Centre) and ACM ConsuWijzer in the Netherlands
- Notify my payment provider (PayPal) to initiate a chargeback/dispute for non-delivery
Outrageous credit card fees
Been a customer for years. This time I ordered 2 Elitebook laptops (2k order). Only after the order i saw they charged my creditcard 22€ for a simple (1) transaction. They use an exception in European law to force these costs through.... good advertising! But for me this is pure theft. They should really put this more clear when ordering. Disgusting company!!
Never order here.
Ordered a new PSU at the beginning of April. After 3 weeks the PSU didnt arrive. I mailed them. They said DHL lost the package somewhere in their line. I told them to fix it within a week or I'd want my money back.
3 weeks later, still no update, the package still lost at DHL. I told them to reimburse me. They told me to make a RMA. So I did, after 1 week I got an email that they had mailed the manufacturer with the problem. Mailed them back to reimburse me within the next week or I'd call the ACM (dutch consumer protection agency). Still no word from them.
Never buy here again.
Do not order stuff at Max ICT
You order something that is in stock, delivery is stated 4 days. the moment that you have ordered the device, the delivery date is on the confirmation 15 days later. Afther 3 weeks you start mailing, almost every day to ask when it will be delivered. At the end it took a month. For an item that was all the time indicated // and is still indicated as in stock and a delivery forecast of 3-4 days.
This was the first time and the last time that i have ordered an item.

Total clown show operation. Ordered a part "in stock" and said it would arrive in 1-3 days. After several emails and forgotten shipments, A MONTH later the wrong part shows up. They took the picture off their website for the part that I ordered, made me file an RMA for THEIR MISTAKE, then want me to pay a 25% restocking fee. Screw these clowns.
aftersales is crap
A ordered item was death on arrival. Created a RMA the next day and send it back that day. After more than a week they started to check the MRA. Now they are study for more than two weeks to see what is wrong.
When I sending emails to request the status of the RMA I don't receive any notice. This is the first and the last order I placed here.
How is this company still operational?
Oh man, if I’d read the reviews before ordering from MaxICT, my life would’ve been so much easier…
I needed a product urgently and MaxICT was the only shop that had it in stock. Even though the listed delivery time was one day, the item never showed up. I had to chase it myself and suddenly got a Track & Trace link. On that link I saw the delivery time was actually another three days. I decided to cancel—too slow.
Turns out it couldn’t be canceled because it had already “shipped” (even though the tracking still said the carrier hadn’t received it). No problem, they said—just request an RMA once it arrives.
I requested the RMA, and three days later they told me I could return it… with a €20 restocking fee!
I’ve sent multiple complaints by email and they’re all ignored.
What else can you do but leave a bad review?
Forever Delayed, No Communication, Hiding Behind Suppliers
Ordered two SSD disks on Feb 5th. Website clearly stated 4-7 working days delivery, stock 200 at their "supplier".
I complained on Feb 25th I hadn't received the disks yet. Without responding to my complaint, they did manage to send out 1 of the 2 disks all of a sudden.
No further communication. So on April 7th I complain again, saying I'm waiting for the second disk. Again I get a "we will enquire with our supplier" generic response that tells me absolutely nothing.
What does it say on the website, today, for these Samsung 870 EVO 500 GB disks? Still 200 in stock, 4-7 working day delivery. A made up, bordering on fraudulent claim, clearly.
No "Sorry", just a suggestion to start RMA procedure to get my money back. Yeah, thanks, for nothing but frustrations. Used to be reliable, today clearly not. Should have seen all these bad reviews before ordering. Can highly not recommend.

Terrible
It is only possible to cancel an order by telephone. However, they just do not pickup. They do not send your product either. The delivery time is incorrect. Service is just all around terrible.
Worst webshop
Ordered a product from Maxict in early March, and still nothing has arrived or not even a track & trace code. Called several times and always got the same answer: 'it will be delivered to our supplier tomorrow'. One big lie! No answer to emails. Worst customer service I have ever experienced. And now I just hope I get my money back.

Drop shippers. Got 3 boxes and 3 deliveries for 3 cables. WTF. And still waiting for the 4th item which ordered a week ago while the website said 1-3 days delivery. I am really done with this company!

Every time, they promise to deliver on next day, what is not happening of course. Shame that I didn't checked reviews before ordering. Never ever!

Ordered a black Friday deal on a Samsung tablet. Had some minor delay but got quick feedback from customer support. Tablet arrived just a few days later.
