Didn't get delivery on day we asked
Didn't get delivery on day we asked. They arrived next day but went off before we could answer door. We didn't expect them to arrive 9am Saturday when they were supposed to arrive Friday. Courier was swearing and saying "can't be bothered with this" as we tried calling out window. As far as I'm aware they are supposed to just drop it off in the garden which he could have done easily. Lazy service and that turf will be too old now. Trying to get refund now but I imagine that will be difficult.

It was easy to order our turf online and arrange for delivery a few days later. Communication on the day of the delivery was excellent. The delivery driver was fantastic: friendly and helpful.
An incredibly positive experience
We have had an incredibly positive experience with the London Lawn Turf Company. We are selling our house and our estate agents suggested laying turf on a part of the garden (about 6m x 12m) that was a bit of a wasteground. So we wanted turf to be laid in a hurry. They came out to do a site visit a few days after I called, and did the job itself over two days the following week. It was quite a big job, involving breaking up the concrete base of a former greenhouse and removing a lot of garden debris. But the guys worked hard and were cheerful and pleasant throughout. And the result is a real transformation: I will post a photo in a couple of weeks' time which will give a fairer impression. Communication with the office was also excellent, and the skip for waste was removed first thing on the day after the work finished. Overall, I would thoroughly recommend this company.

We were able to collect our turf on the appointed day without any issues. The turf was of very good quality and was freshly cut. The staff at the Sevenoaks depot were friendly and helpful.

5.5 tonnes of bagged topsoil delivered slightly earlier than billed. Driver - Delford - was lovely and placed pallets exactly where I wanted.
Two things which could improve the experience - both fantasies really:
1) have some means of craning materials over terraced houses - lugging that much topsoil through the house is back-breaking
2) have some facility for taking the empty pallets away again. They're a complete nuisance once they've done their job.
Terrible
Terrible customer service. Emailed my complaint to the company and was ignored so ended up having to call. They managed to find my email within in seconds so not sure why no one bothered replying. The lawn I was sold was half dead but also apparently my fault because I didn’t “water is properly” even though you can clearly see the dead patches are strategically positioned on the ends of the roll. They also state on there website that they sell “high quality” and “lowest rate” however the quality is rubbish and it took me less than five minutes to find a company that sells the rolls cheaper.

If you're considering who to use for your new lawn you don't need to go anywhere else. This is the best company for you to use.
The 28 rolls of turf arrived dry
The 28 rolls of turf arrived dry. They were laid on a fine tilf/no weeds and after three weeks of watering each night have many patches where turf not growing. As I had not ordered enough, I sourced new turf from another supplier that is now thick, luxuriant and thriving in stark contrast.
Excellent quality
Excellent quality, very fresh, well cut with consistent measurements. Great service, I did not need to load my 10 rolls, very helpful staff did that for me when collecting! Thank you. Now I'm watering and waiting for the result.
Were due to deliver on Thursday and…
Were due to deliver on Thursday and then they changed the delivery date to Friday due to sick driver. They advised that it'll come on Friday morning, despite calling them in the morning where they said that they can't promise a morning delivery and it'll come when it comes the delivery never turned up. In fact I had to call at 4:30 to find out their driver had been stuck in traffic and there were problems with the delivery. Asked for a refund and let my credit company know because I don't believe they will process it. I have been left out of pocket as I'd hired labourers for the job. Cowboy company bad customer service.. AVOID!
