I do not recommend this company. I waited half a year for the repair of my bike, which was brand new and started breaking after just one month. They say one thing and do another.

Problem with display quickly and correctly diagnosed.
I had a problem with the display on an ebike I bought from Fietsenwinkel 7 years ago.
When I took the bike to the Utrecht Fietsenwinkel I was helped by an extremely knowledgeable repair technician, Joost Janszen, who quickly and correctly diagnosed the problem.
I left the bike there and it was fixed by the next day.

Store does not reimburse for a stolen bike despite insurance
I have encountered the worst experience with this store when my bike got stolen. I have purchased a bike for 2200 euro and the store employees have told me to buy an insurance from them. They said I don't have to make an insurance myself because they have an agreement with ANWB and will make it for me. I have an invoice where they included the insurance together with the bike, locks and a front crate.
Now, my bike got stolen, and the Fietsenwinkel says they did not make any insurance for me and refused to reimburse me!!!!
I have TWO DOCUMENTS CONFIRMING THEY SOLD THE INSURANCE - my order and my invoice. Both explicitily state "diefstal en schade"!
Now their client service says "i'm sorry, but no insurance was applied and we cannot reimburse you" - but what do you mean - you ordered and sold it to me, it is SELLER'S LEGALLY BINDING OBLIGATION TO DELIVER THE SERVICE THEY HAVE SOLD!
Unbelievable shame to deceive consumers like this!

Tenways CGO800 battery issue
I have purchased a Tenways CGO800 from Fietsenwinkel 9 months ago, and suddenly my battery stopped charging. I took it to the store and they changed it on the spot and i have a new battery in 30 mins. Super customer service!
E-bike repair
The staff was a amazing! They did a great job repairing my bike. Informed me about the bike and the situation very well and offered me coffee while I was waiting.

On 31.10.2024 I took it to the shop for repair. Since then they say that they are waiting for repair. It has been 6 months since they keep my bike. Still no solution.

Good morning, my experience with Fietswinkel is very bad, I bought a bike that is not even 1 year old and it is more idle than I use it, if I can give any advice to anyone it is not to buy from Fietswinkel if you have any problems it will take a long time (just for get new battery take like 5 months), if you want a bike for daily use it is better to choose another store.

I had a bad experience with this store in the past when it took weeks just to book a mechanic and even longer to get my bike fixed. However, this time was a completely different story!
I showed up just before closing with a broken saddle, expecting to have to book an appointment and wait again. Instead, Kevin V. helped me right away—super quick and friendly service. He fixed it on the spot and didn’t even charge me!

E-bike never delivered. No refunds!
Ordered an e-bike on Feb 1st. 5-weeks later still no delivery or refund. Calling everyday with promises but no return with a solution. Stay away from these thieves at all costs.

I am totally not happy with their service. Their service is worst. When I took an new bike my front light was not working and I asked to fix it on the next day morning. I was asked to come back after 7 weeks for their inefficiency and mistake. I paid almost 2 months of EMI for not in use bike (without lights). I booked an appointment for service after 1 year. No reply from them for 2 months. Then I contacted their customer care to schedule an appointment with one of their service partner. After sometime my electronic meter broke and I scheduled a repair.. This time the waiting period is full 3 months. I am paying EMI for these months for a bike which is not in use..
They sell some unique brands which can not be serviced outside. The quality is not good and spares not available. Totally a disgusting service attitude.

Scam bike
Terrible website. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. First they delivered my new E-bike. First time i try the E-Bike, the gearbox is broken and the right break does not work at all.
After that I contacted them to come pick up the bike and every time they tell me they come to pick up the bike and then they cancel at last moment.
Completely not suggested!!!

Disastrous experience all along
I'm one of those people who never write reviews because I'm generally satisfied with very little, but now I have to.
I ordered an electric bike which was delivered 2 months late. What's more, the bike was very badly assembled. Both wheels were warped and the handlebars not centered.
All my interactions with customer service were disastrous. I had to follow up 5-6 times before getting any answers to my questions.
I was promised €50 compensation for late delivery, but after numerous reminders on the subject, I was always ignored without even receiving a reply from them.
Recently, I contacted them again because my bike needs repairing. I'm told I'll receive a confirmation e-mail to set up an appointment with the repairer. As you can imagine, I received nothing and had to deal with the repairer directly myself.
I guess I was really unlucky throughout the whole process, but the trouble they caused me is well worth a review.
