Just had a Phillips tv repair warranty done by this company. Must say I was very worried reading the reviews but credit when credit due. From start to finish they kept me updated with ordering parts. Engineer visited today contacted me to say he was running late. On arrival very friendly and professional, took care with my OLED tv. Engineer a total credit to the company
The company is terrible and unreliable
In July, my TV screen was replaced, but the technicians cracked the back case during the process, and the new screen only lasted less than a month. I’ve reported the issue to Domestic and General, but they keep asking for photos of the faults, despite my repeated submissions via email and WhatsApp. They continuously request the same information and then close the job for non-compliance. When I call them, they simply reopen a new repair job, and the cycle repeats without any progress on the repair.
Domestic and General needs to consider partnering with a more capable company, as they clearly lack the resources to meet customer demands and fulfill their service level agreements. They keep closing jobs and creating new ones without resolution. Additionally, I've noticed that other consumers are sharing similar experiences with Equinox in their reviews.

Them is very very bud company maintenance. No serius, no organisation , no good engineering. Is for amonth I waiting for repair my tcl tv and or engineer is not good for repair or messing appointment a few times . Rubbish service

They are worst company and domestic and general like using them as third party repairs. They took my vaccum cleaner for same repair twice and kept it with them for 3 weeks and even after complaint both domestic and genaral and them didnt care or resolve the issue had to buy new vaccum cleaner and when told them dont want it dispose it they shamelessly delivered it to my property and left it. Plz avoid this company if you can i doubt they know what they are doing.

By far the most disgusting company I have ever dealt with, multiple visits stating they couldn't find parking, eventually picked up for offsite repair. 2 weeks later my LG G4 (faulty after only 3 months) was returned with a brand new oled panel, unbelievably the entire screen was warped/distorted and I cannot understand how this was returned in this condition! Had to go back to the retailer to try and get this sorted, retailer states Equinox have denied any wrongdoing and closed the case, absolute shambolic bunch of cowboys. No more LG TV’s for me as this is their preferred repair partner, never seen anything like it, avoid at all costs!
Horrible company to work with
Horrible company to work with. Brand new 80inch tv that had a mind of its own. Had to do take it upon myself to be the middleman between Philips and equinox and everyone had a different story and different idea of what was going on. They would fix my tv if they could take it from me for 2/3 weeks minimum. Philips assured me it would be fixed at my house but equinox tell me different. Eventually got told to contact my home insurance as they won't be fixing it!!!

Came out and fitted a new TV Main board 4 days later TV gains same problem as before? Almost like they fixed the problem temporarily well they was there so they could sign it off to be paid reported to TV manufacturer they booked in another job but Equinox want to replace a 4 day old main board 🤦 sure they claim every issue is the main board biggest scam in the book!
A totally positive experience
I have read many of the previous reviews, but I can only comment on my own experience. My appliance was collected on time by a cheerful driver and taken to Equinox for repair. I was very quickly told that it needed a new part and it had been ordered. Immediately after receiving the new part my appliance was repaired and I was informed of the return date. It was delivered back to me, at exactly the time quoted, by another cheery driver, and was exceedingly well packaged to prevent physical damage in transit. At no time did I encounter a rude or unhelpful member of staff and am totally happy with the whole experience, end to end.
Unprofessional, liars, incompetent
Unprofessional staff that constantly lie and fob you off! I was assigned this company by D&G for a TV repair which never happened! 4 weeks I waited for a backlight to be ordered and they couldn't even manage that? I constantly chased them about this, and was fobbed off with " I'm escalating the order" which they never did, and no one ever returned my calls....the only time they ever called me, they put the phone down when I answered? All I ever got was altermated watts app messages which made no sense. I finally gave up with this company and called D&G direct, and they couldn't have been better! They sorted out my TV in 1hr which Equinox couldn't do in 4weeks. I can't recommend D&G highly enough, I've been with them over 25 years and they've always been excellent in their customer service. Don't let these fools make you change insurers.

Terrible Communication and returned TV unrepaired
Would give Equinox 0 if I could. Their communication was terrible, as they scheduled appointments whenever they wanted, and then canceled them just as easily, with no regard for my time. When I tried to get help, their phone support was completely unhelpful. Instead of resolving my issue, they dragged it out for months. TCL were equally useless. TV was returned unrepaired. Will never be buying TCL and using these people!
The Worst - Lies and Deceit
I sent them a very expensive projector to replace RGB panels and have a dust clean up, I was informed by Epson it was out of warranty, but I could buy the service, I opened the projector up, removed some ribbon cables, a few screws and then gave up.
I sent the projector with these items undone, thinking competent technicians would still carry out the job, they took photos, claimed damage to the circuit board and items were missing, they are not being truthful, everything was sent to them and now they send it back to me without doing the job, it is basically toast without them doing the job, what an awful company.
So that’s a £2500 projector thrown out because they won’t carry out the job I paid for, instead they refund me and walk away, terrible, terrible company, avoid at all costs.
Also warranty in UK is 5 years in Scotland and 6 years in England, Epson were also untruthful and misled me, but Equinox are shameful and they lie and deceive you and if they were competent at all they would carry out simple engineering jobs and not make excuses.
Do not go near clowns
Absolutely terrible had a problem with my to switching itself off all the time they sent a engineer out who said it was a main board issue and said they would have to order one next day had a message saying job cancelled so I contacted themselves and was told it was the power supply in my house so it wasn’t covered so I had that checked by an electrician who said there was nothing wrong with supply I contacted d&g and asked for a second opinion so another company phoned me up and asked to describe the problem so I told them the issue and straight away said that it was a main board problem and that the part was unavailable so they contacted d&g and I ended up having a replacement tv but equinox waste of time would never deal with them again d&g need to dump these clowns
This company is terrible
This company is terrible, I had to contact them to order a stand, which are basically two feet, left and right, fitted to the bottom of the TV. I broke them by accident, I have phoned and emailed them numerous times, and attached photos of the two stands, plus I photoed the two items from booklet i received when I bought the TV. Eventually they gave me a price for them, I phoned them to make sure they were the right parts, i received a vague answer to pass on my concern. Hours later i received an email, saying they didn't have a catalogue for spare parts for my TV, which contradicted earlier conversations. I will contact them again, but i doubt i will ever get my two stands. What a disgraceful company to do business with!!!!

Rubbish Customer Service
I called D&G on Thursday about my TV was WhatsApp'd by Equinox on Friday for details of what the issue is I responded promptly on Friday morning. Today I called D&G to say still not heard anything, they only have the same contact no. customers have. They managed to actually get through to someone who said I would get a call back at lunch time, still nothing. I have now contacted D&G to raise a complaint. It is very unprofessional to not even get an acknowledgement of my repair, even if they contacted me and said we cannot get anyone out until next week that would have been OK, but looking at previous reviews they appear to be prolific cancellers

Contracted to domestic and general. Complained and had no choice. NO CHOICE, TRUST ME I HAVE GOT A CHOICE. I chose to cancel all my accounts (9) on the experience of equinox. D&G you just lost 9 policies on the basis that you had no one else to fix my TV. No wonders they treat your customers like something we stepped in.
