In the end they came good.
I have purchased about 6 sofas and been very pleased.
This last one has been a bit of an ordeal but they delivered in all ways in the end.
The trouble is you can never speak to the person you want without going through hoops which makes it very frustrating. At the same time it is how most companies operate now.
Very pleased with my Orka now and the Manager Stuart and salesman Andy of Shrewsbury are very helpful many thanks to them

My 5th sofa order but now LAST due to extortionate delivery cost at £129
I have always been to DFS for my sofas. My local branch is Shrewsbury. The staff are friendly and approachable 🙂 My newest order is my 5th sofa in 12 years! I love how easy it is to customise (adding extra seat units or end units for corners) but I was taken back at the new delivery price. I’m moving into a bigger house and need 2 sofas and an arm chair. I have ordered the first one but will not be returning. I will look at other companies such as Dusk and Argos. The delivery charge of £129 is extortionate and no option to collect ourselves despite paying in full. I understand rising costs but other companies will not charge that for delivery. Such a shame.
