Spoke to a Tyler at Comfort Medical and he was very professional and worked hard to inform me of who to contact, like my doctor or insurance company, and the correct phone numbers to contact him back. It took about a full week for the order to go through but Tyler made it easy and made my part as minimal as possible. Big thumbs up to Tyler! Way to go for great customer service.

I just recently had an ostomy and comfort medical is one of the places the hospital recommended for ostomy bags. First month I ordered they asked me if I wanted to get it in a one month supply or three months. I said three. They sent enough for one month. I called when the first month ran out the second batch the sent one box had been cut open on the side. So I called them and they sent a replacement box but no box of replacement seals. This month was the worst so far. I ordered on Tuesday. Told them I had 10 bags left and needed to get this order asap. They said absolutely. Wednesday goes by. Thursday afternoon I call them ask where it is. They tell me they were out of the bag I ordered and was wondering if they could send a different bag. I said yes but I'm down to 4 bags so can we please get these overnight. They said absolutely. Close of business Friday I call back and ask why those bags aren't here. They explained that the bags had shipped from the warehouse to their distribution center and just sat there. She called and got them to agree to ship it out next day air. Saturday afternoon. Still not here and when you check the link for tracking it's in Tennessee. Will be here some time Monday. I have one bag to last 48 hours. I'll find a different supplier. This one has been horrible to deal with.

I started with this company June 2023 and had to leave after the second 90 day order. My first order was delayed and the emergency supplies they sent out were wrong and would not work. Before the delayed order shipped I instructed them to wait on sending it as I was now moving and I would call when I am ready to receive it at my new address. I called and verified my address and they shipped my 90 day supply to my old address. Not one but twice. After receiving it I called to inquire about returning a item. They instructed to package it and they would send fedex to pickup. After 1 week I inquired about when fedex would arrive and they said 3 attempts had been made. They directed fedex to pick up at my old address. By the time all of this was resolve with way too much time on the phone it was time to order my next 90 day supply. It was short on 2 items when it arrived but things seemed less complicated this order. Then Jan 2025 1.5 years after placing the first order I get additional bill for it. I couldn't figure it, my care provider couldn't figure it out and my sister could not find where I owed. I finally threw my hands up and fired the incompetent bunch.

This place is trash they use to be good years ago but it's all a money scheme where they bill your insurance thousands of dollars when you can go pay cash for way way less some place else. Plus the rep who's not medically trained told me I require to many catheters a day and that they need to see my medical records from my doctor to get approval from them. Yeah forgwt that they ain't medically trained so they can suck an egg Stay far away from this place

When things fall thru the cracks, they fall at a very high rate of speed. This review is due to Comfort Medical being part of the problem but not the entire problem. Having been disabled (quad) since 2010 left us dependent on several medical things. Supplies being a part of the top 5. After having a different supply co the last 14yrs we were advised a new order was needed. Why? No clue. Quads are quads until they’re not. 1st issue, 5week wait for PCP appt. 2nd issue, new Dr. We weren’t aware of that at all. 3rd issue, new Dr changed the date & quantity of supplies. Orders we were told were being faxed weren’t at all. 6week mark, Faxed order kicked back by Comfort due to “scribbles” on order- we need a new order. 6.5week mark, new order sent in - call to Comfort, hold time 107min before anyone answered then immediately transferred dropping the call. Called back, hold time 56min & was able to get David, David who said everything is all set you guys, geez I’m so sorry. David said he was shipping the supplies overnight we’ll have them tomorrow. That was last Thursday, Oct 10th. 7week mark- Called today, hold time 102min, get a cust service rep who says “the box is going out today” What?! Why is the box not here? Per David! It’s packed and in the warehouse. Ok, I need the tracking. There’s no tracking yet, it depends on the cut off for leaving the warehouse. I’m very frustrated with this whole circus tbh. It’s unprofessional starting with our PCP but also with the supplies co Comfort Medical. No one has helped other than countless apologies, transfers of calls after hearing the tone in which I’m now speaking. No one can walk back to the warehouse saying get that box out NOW! Just countless apologies but no resolution. We switched based on a Medicare rep saying they were so efficient and we’ll be so glad we switched. We’re not glad, not glad at all. I sit here today at the 8week mark. 8 weeks of reusing incontinence supplies that have now giving him such a bad uti we have to go daily for IV antibiotic therapy. This shouldn’t have happened and certainly not for this long. No one worked together, just pointed fingers at one another. My husband could pass from such an infection and this should not have happened.

This is the first shipment of catheter supplies for my husband. After several days of delays I was told it was to be shipped "overnite" - this morning my tracking states it will not be delivered for 4 days!! My husband has only one day of supplies left and it is a holiday weekend.
Comfort Medical makes me feel comfortable. They communicate perfectly by always initiating my next shipment of catheters. I don't have to think about it. I get their notification for the next shipment. I tell them I'm ready for it and Viola, it shows up at my door on time. Their service couldn't be better. Outstanding!

Several of these stoma bags, have leaked at the edge where they come together. It is extremely embarrassing when this happens at work, or in public. They have ruined bedding, and clothing due to the oil I have to put in it.
I just called to find out if I will get replacements ( been changing them more then twice a week due to poor quality), apparently you do not replace defective products, leaving me to have to purchase these out of my pocket? Thanks for nothing.

This company has the worst customer service I have ever experienced. Call center, if you can call it that, LIED over and over again. I did not speak to a single person who did not lie regarding my order. At one point, a "manger" stated that I am not her customer. REALLY? My insurance, my order, my supplies but I am not her customer. Resolution would have taken much longer than needed if I would have trusted their "protocol and system". FOUR phone calls later and one of the calls actually being COLOPLAST itself.
I'm new so I only have a very limited experience, the reviews here are mostly positive and over on BBB site there 100% negative , I'm somewhere between the two ,my enrollment went great ,but have been very unimpressed by everything since day 1 of my enrollment , the only thing I've been able to see is the enrollment login page which has a few graphs showing your progress apparently that's just decoration because nothing has changed on that page since I signed up , if you believe that page there has been ZERO progress made since day 1 which my insurance was verified immediately and 10 days later(5-26) still being verified yet my order was shipped on 5-24 and still haven't heard anything from Comfort Medical at all not a single update about anything ,the only reason I know my order has been shipped is because Fed-Ex informed me of it, so I'm on the fence about this company , as for their customer service, it's abominable 3 calls to them led to a 28 minute hold a 17 min hold time and being hung up on after holding for 12 minutes ,once you actually get hold of someone they are great, friendly ,helpful once they are on the phone the customer service is great,that being said I hope I never have to call them again for any reason..I'll update my review one way or another when I have more to go on
UPDATE my experience definitely hasn't been like most everyone else's , they have the worst customer service on the planet ,several unanswered messages , calling them is pointless unless you don't have anything to do all day..the bottom line is my first order is my last and only order
As always they ship when I need it,and get the supplies here quickly.insurance covers the cost,but others either couldn’t,or did not want to serve me.

I had a problem with my order sitting in “processing” for two weeks so I called the customer service line. I was connected to someone’s house where I could hear a woman talking and children crying. After a few moments of me saying “hello?”, she hung up the call without actually speaking to me. Fortunately when I called back I got a nice young man who was able to help me.
This isn’t the first time I’ve gotten one of these work-from-home agents. The quality of customer service is hit and miss. I’ve had them with parrots squawking in the background, children screaming and one was even cooking, pots and pans rattling and a kitchen timer going off. I don’t like having to keep calling back in the hopes of getting someone who A) speaks fluent English and B) is actually able to do the job. If they’re cooking, cleaning, taking care of a baby, they’re not able to help customers. It’s wasting everyone’s time. Please either use some quality controls, or get rid of the work from home group and put in a proper customer service center.

Placed an order for my father's Ostomy supplies on February 23rd via the company's website. As of March 8th had no response from the company. Contacted the company via phone and the representative stated she could not locate my father's account. After giving her the information several times she suddenly is able to locate his account. At this point she asked which products does my father use? When given the information, she stated they do not carry that brand. (Hollister) The website allowed me to choose Hollister and WHY did NO ONE contact us? We have been waiting for a response since February 23rd! If the brand you prefer is Hollister, skip right by this company. When signing up online, expect ZERO customer service. While allow consumers to sign up online only to be ignored?
