Terrible and disappointing service
I ordered two jackets for my kids using a 10% discount code I received after registering in the Columbia Germany website. After purchasing the jackets I was trying to change the color but I was told there was no way of changing or canceling the order, I was told I had to wait until the jackets were delivered and then I had to return them. That makes no sense to me but anyway is their business.
The first surprise came when I received only one of the two jackets. I contacted them and they told me I had to send them a photo of the package (plastic bag) and the package label and I also had to fill in a Columbia Germany form stating the missing items.
After two days the reply from Columbia Germany was surprising. They told me there was no way to deliver the missing jacket so they reimbursed me the amount of money for that. I was also told if I wanted the missing jacket I had to place a new order and they provided me with a 10% discount code like the one I already had when I order the two jackets.
Long story short, after two weeks from the date I ordered the two jackets I only had one jacket and as a “solution” Columbia Germany offered me a 10% discount code like the one I had when I ordered the jackets the first time. No fast delivery service or anything similar to mitigate the fact it took me 3 weeks to received the two jackets. 1 week for the initial order, 1 week to figure out what happened and 1 more week to received the second jacket.
That is something I was not expecting from Columbia Germany but it is the reality. A one time in life experience since I will probably never buy anything from Columbia Germany anymore.
