I ordered tickets to an amusement park, but the tickets never arrived. They also didn’t refund my money. I was only able to get my money back several months later with the help of the police. These are clever scammers who are not even afraid of the authorities. Be very careful and don’t trust them!
Scam of a website
Scam of a website. I got these vouchers as a gift thank goodness so I didn't pay but why does every single hotel require you to pay double vs booking direct? They only have Fletcher hotels and all of them are poorly rated. Can't believe websites like this are still able to exist. I finally thought I found a email address to speak to someone but all it was is another AI chatbot. Even as a free gift, wouldn't recommend to anyone!
bad service
I received a gift bongo, it has been impossible to book, always more to pay or unclear availability, now it is expired and they tell me probably nothing to do. Very rude customer representative on the phone, she did not care at all. don't buy this gift, it's lost money
Had some vouchers as a gift and used on…
Had some vouchers as a gift and used on BONGO. But, impossible to find decent hotels for the voucher gift price which was a decent amount. We had to pay extra! The hotel in France was very basic and had one bottle of water in the room for the two of us to share! Also, no tea or coffee in the room like a normal hotel ! The bed was basic comfort and lumpy pillows! Shower room although clean, had no shampoo etc. Breakfast was basic and nominal choices and self service. All very basic. Feel the whole experience was a rip off! The box set looked impressive, but don't be fooled by what you end up with!
Impossible to find a single place where to use the bloody voucher
I got this voucher as a birthday gift. It’s been weeks that I try to do something with it but it’s impossible. Zero info on the website about where can actually be used. I googled it many times nothing comes up apart from how to buy a voucher. That seems the only easy thing to do but then when you want to actually use it it’s impossible to find where. I asked a couple of places, a restaurant, a spa, both came saying that the bono voucher isn’t valid there. Basically my friend threw 60 euros into the bin. Im going to try to get the money back although I asume it’s going to also be impossible. Basically this business is a scam.
Don't buy anything from Bongo
Please don't buy anything from Bongo, their service sucks.
Don't waste your time & Don't buy as a gift!
We received Bongo experience as a gift, and while the idea itself is nice, Bongo is just a headache to use:
Bugged website that constantly gives errors and crashes;
VERY few options available, most are with a surcharge of 23 - 100+ euros
Very inconvenient search
Overall, DO NOT recommend!
How do we rate a scam?
The kind of company that has no morality and ethic in business.
I bought a coffret of one night in a castle and gastronomy dinner (~300euros)
Beginning with:
- Customer service : -5 useless and unfriendly -- Scam=trash
- website : -10 this is were we call a scam company, we pay 300 euros expecting a good website to book but nothing works and an utterly nightmare. YOU HAVE NO EXCUSE. Encoding region and date everytime you need to make a search? Don't you hear about AI? Just get yourself some education please.
Unethical way of making money
The gift card must be registered before the expiry date otherwise it will become worthless. The expiry date is not printed on the box or on the card. You can only see the expiry date by going to their website. I find it unacceptable that the expiry date is not visible on the product. You cannot see if the card is still valid when purchasing it and the recipient cannot see by when the card should be registered. I consider this an unethical way of making money.
Voucher unavailable
I bought the voucher as a Christmas gift (hotel Ruimzicht with high wine) and the experience is no longer available so the recipiënt has to pick another compared to the gift boxed voucher they received. Completely unacceptable.

Inconveniences
First of all is the app not functional/clear at all. As other also said, it has no option to book via the site/app or even get an idea of the prices to indicate how much it would cost etc. Furthermore, there were are a few companies who said they didn't even know who Bongo is, when contacting them. Also, when buying the Bongo giftcard, I got a discount of 20% of my purchase. Sounded great so I chose the giftcard, but instead of getting the discount, I just got a giftcard that was less worth, instead of getting a nice deal. Stupid of me, but a bit misleading of them. I already got in contact with Bongo about these isues, so I won't mail them again, I just wanted to share this for others.
Nevertheless of these inconceniences, it is a nice concept and I think there are enough good experiences to make with the Bongo giftcards

Bongo - top spot for your accomodation
Bongo is great for arranging accomodation in top spots! We have booked 6 nights within two different locations (Italy + Germany) during our holidays.
Entire process was quick and transparent. Everything went according to description!
We are looking forward for our next stays with Bongo!
Would not recommended getting the magic night voucher
Would not recommended getting this. It looks like you have nice options, but a lot are not available. The very basic hotels are only available. So much for a "magic night". You can better book the hotels directly from their site. A lot of options are cheaper than the amount you pay for the ticket itself.
Our hotel was ok. Staff was nice, but the hotel itself was very basic.

We have received the voucher as a gift…
We have received the voucher as a gift for a restaurant. After downloading the Bongo app i can only see two restaurants in The Hague. When i want to book it i cannot see any option to book the restaurant in the App. It just gives the option to email or call.the restaurant. So, why do i need the Bongo app if it cannot be used to book any restaurants? It is also not clear how to use the voucher at the restaurant. All in all it looks a completely useless app.

Easiness of purchase
After 6 days still no item received
Placed an order on the 23rd of Dec with an option of express delivery (1-2 workdays). I even pre-empt that on the Christmas period, maybe there is no delivery working yet up to today, 29th of Dec,I havent receive my order. I need the order for a NY gift.
I tried to contact Bongo CS via email and via the contact form but I didnt receive any response. Seems only in this way I can get in touch with Bongo CS.
I dont think this is a scammer company, yet for the price and the amazing voucher options that the website provided, I am dissapointed that not even track and trace or live CS provided.

Not transparent
Not transparent
The conditions of the deal were not clear (you had to select a specific sauna to see what are the conditions for this sauna and it was not transparent from the general conditions that the deal mostly covered only evening entry). Eventually we used the evening entry for a day visit by paying extra which made this deal more expensive than other available deals.
