I would give a zero if possible

I would give a zero if possible. I ordered 10k boxes and paid in full 3 months ago. I received 1500 so far and I was promised them in 25 days from the date I ordered. They said they have a factory in Canada and the boxes are shipping from the UAE. Might be a laundering front. I will be contacting the BBB to look into this.

Avoid at all costs

Avoid at all costs. We needed to source a couple of good quality presentation boxes to promote one of our premium products at an event. The deadline was tight and the boxes were expensive but Best Custom Boxes said they could deliver, so we went with the higher price.

The boxes arrived and the quality was awful. They were bubbled, the logo had delaminated, there were scrapes on the top surface and the joints were falling apart. We were really disappointed, sent photos and requested a full refund. Sam replied to say the boxes were in perfect condition before they were shipped and attached photos sent from production, where you could clearly see the delaminating and scratches. They went on to say they would send replacements out but we let them know that any replacements wouldn't arrive on time for the event, so we wanted the refund. Sam said the boxes were already in production and they would send them out again. We made it clear that we would still be requesting a refund as the boxes would not be with us on time and Sam stated their policy was that they didn’t offer refunds on products damaged in transit. We reiterated that it was clear from the damage (and their production photos) that this wasn’t caused during transit. The boxes arrived just before 5pm on the 9th July via DHL (this wasn't enough time on our side to get the inserts and samples into the box and sent to London via courier for the event that started at 7:30am on the 11th). They were bubble wrapped and packaged in a plastic DHL bag rather than a protective box. When we opened the bag, the boxes were crushed and unusable. We emailed photos again and explained we still wanted the refund and we were told again that it was against their policy to refund products that were damaged in transit (even if their packaging was inadequate to protect those products - they blamed DHL for the packaging). We followed up with a phone call and spoke to Sam's manager who told us we should have used our “common sense” and checked the products before DHL left (they obviously don't have experience working for a large company where packages are delivered to reception). They also blamed DHL for all damages (I have since contacted DHL to let them know about this situation and am awaiting feedback). The Best Custom Boxes manager was rude, kept talking over me, didn't listen to the fact we had requested a refund after the first delivery and not a product replacement, and then told me there was nothing he could do before hanging up the phone while I was mid-sentence. So, at the end of the process we are out of pocket with nothing to show for it. I am absolutely disgusted at the customer service received from this company, and honestly have never come across service like this before. It is something we are particularly passionate about in our own company and I was shocked. I'm surprised they are still in business if this is how they treat their customers! - Edit following response: The reply from Best Custom Boxes highlights exactly how they spoke to me during the phone conversation. I don’t think it is unreasonable to expect a supplier to provide products that are usable / undamaged and I am at a loss trying to understand how they think this is ok. I know this was a small order, but that was never highlighted as an issue.

Dear Michelle, you have no right to defame a company that has been in the packaging industry for more than a decade and provides its best printing packaging services to customers from all around the world.
First of all, we quoted you the prices for these premium boxes, but you asked for lower prices. We agreed to provide you with these boxes keeping the quality of printing and production, just to start a good business relationship with you and we aimed to help you promote your product with our boxes and not gain any profits with this sample order. I believe you understand that there is no profit in a sample (ordering 2 boxes), so our focus was to build a good and lasting business relationship with you.
Secondly, we shipped the boxes with the globally renounced courier company DHL using proper packaging techniques to protect the box inside (we used bubble wrap as you mentioned in your comment). We expedited the process and delivered the sample within 5-7 business days of the order process, so you can receive the boxes on time for promotion purposes and pay extra to DHL for expedited shipping.
Thirdly, you claimed that the boxes were received damaged, however, we have all the proofs of the boxes in the production and shipping process (videos and images), the boxes were in perfect condition, but after receiving your reviews, we decided to reproduce and ship the boxes as per our terms and conditions and just to assist you with your purpose of order.
We produced and delivered another round of samples without any additional cost and we have proof of that as well, but you again claimed that the boxes are damaged which is baseless. How can a professional and globally renounced courier company mishandled your boxes not just once but twice?
Lastly, upon receiving the first round of samples, you started to claim a refund which was against our policy, and our policy states to reproduce the product which we did. But your claim for a refund and continuous emphasize on the demand for a refund shows that your plan was something else.
We have all the proofs to support our claims and defend our reputation, you however are not allowed to defame a company on baseless accusations.
We are still ready to deal with this matter professionally. You can email our legal team who can provide you with all the proofs we have for our claims.

Sadly very very poor project delivery

Sadly very very poor project delivery. We wanted to like this company and gave them a shot to design and print our bespoke cake boxes for our bakery.
The initial price quotation was good. We agreed a one month project turnaround time from sign off, which was last November. Soon after we signed the specifications, we were pushed to pay the complete project amount of £3500.
Then it went quiet. When pushed for delivery date, Jeffrey advised that the ‘first box’ would be delivered shortly. When the box did finally arrive, there were 200 of the purchased 10000 boxes, misprinted! The company agreed to reprint. When the revised print arrived there were something like 500 boxes, badly printed and many of the cupcake boxes glued poorly which meant they could not be opened. To date (7 month later) we are yet to receive about half of the agreed job. We have received around 60% of the cupcake boxes, many of them unusable. Attempts to reach out to either Jeff or Chris at the company for resolution have been unsuccessful, the company saying that all boxes were shipped. No proof of shipment was available. I’d very much stay away from this company. And don’t be fooled by the Uk address.
Business is done somewhere in the east.

Custom Boxes

This was our first experience in ordering custom boxes, and I have to say, I went though a few companies for the first contact until I found Best Custom Boxes and Sam, who was switched on and very patient with me from the very start.

We couldn't have done it without him, no matter how much we know our product, he knows his, and he guided us though every step until we got what we wanted - a fantastic packaging for our chocolates. It was very fast too even considering that discussions via emails do take time. Pleasure to work with!

Best Custom Boxes could not have been…

Best Custom Boxes could not have been more helpful in getting my soap packaging right for me. Zack and Chris were endlessly patient as I kept changing my mind about wording, colours and type of card. The end result has been great. It is really high quality. My customers love my packaging. Oh, and they print and deliver really fast as well.

Amazing service

Amazing service - great product! Chris was so helpful in making our ever-changing spec arrive in a ridiculously short lead time. So happy with the boxes - they were perfect and exceeded expectations would definitely recommend them.

Custom boxes, made to order (small runs also available)

We needed some luxury boxes made up for a very expensive gift. We only needed two - a bespoke order, for a low print run. Best Custom Boxes not only had excellent customer service (thank you Chris!) but also delivered everything to our specifications and on time. Great value for money. Will use again.

Thank you Best Custom Boxes!

Just started my own company and used Best Custom Boxes.
They are easy to do business with. Whilst looking at the site they contacted me via Live Chat. From then on all of my questions were answered and design began.
In no time at all, I had a perfect proof, everything we had asked for.
Great price! No hidden costs, Fab customer service and decent delivery time.
My boxes and the Artwork look great! Very happy
It was a pleasure doing business with Chris, very helpful and accommodating
I will be using them again very soon

Best custom boxes is one of the few…

Best custom boxes is one of the few companies which I can trust blindfolded. The team and staff is just miracle generous lovelies, I don't know why people are bluffing about such an exquisite company, whereas I never got any issue while working with them.

When I started my business, I searched for many packaging companies but my friend recommended me this one. I was so much unsure about the minute details as this was my first time stepping into business world - which calls for top notch packaging.

I explored the site and talked with the team, which were extremely kind and mellow, one of the member got me through the steps and then I ordered boxes. The company is transparent tells about everything even if any thing costs extra they do not hide and tell their customers the genuine and complete expenditure of cost and time.

boxes arrived perfectly on due date. Loved the design, colour, quality and everything they told me was on spot. I loved every bit of them even the customers were in love with the packaging. Loved the amiable nature of BCB, their love and heart which they poured into production, the quality of mass and the prices were so much reasonable!!!!.
Just got a thing wrong which was I should have ordered more but I know whom to contact next time.

DO NOT DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY!!

I ordered 50 custom boxes, they arrived with the package open and every box was damaged in transit. Some torn, bent, even dirt marks from being dropped on the ground. I reported this to Best Custom Boxes and said I needed a refund as I now would not have the boxes in time for my event. They would not issue a refund and would only produce the boxes again even though it would be too late. They claim they do not have a refund policy, which is very illegal. WORST CUSTOM BOXES, NOT BEST CUSTOM BOXES.

Do not use this company

Do not use this company if you are looking for quality.
The boxes are not made in the UK like they state.
They got my order wrong 3 times I only continued to use them Because I had already invested money into them.

They are rude, un professional, not at all helpful didn’t stick to the delivery times they promised and the boxes arrived in awful quality totally different to their tester one which they also charge £90 for.

Don’t use this company as you will be left disappointed!

DISGUSTING SERVICE, VILE MANAGEMENT, AVOID****

This company first attracted us with their website layout. Looked fairly easy to set up and secure packaging.
Turns out that this is the most Ill-managed, complacent company I have ever had the dissatisfaction of dealing with.

The sales rep was awful, didn’t listen to commands, repeatedly sent the wrong samples to us, (at a charge of £90!) when I made a complaint, the manager was the most horrible, rude man I have ever had to deal with in business. Was not interested in helping us resolve our despute, argued with everything I said.

We decided to go ahead with the order for 2 reasons, firstly, we were on a time frame and needed to lunch our company and had already invested weeks of time into this sham. factoring in delivery delays etc we felt we had no choice, and secondly because the product was supposed to be made in England (which it wasn’t) so I thought it would be a fast turn around:

Anyway, the boxes turned up, we ordered 50, they sent less, and they were in an un-usable state! The ends were curled up and the boxes had finger prints and oily substances all over!!

Emailed and called straight away, to my dissatisfaction, it took them a further 2 days to come back to me, and read his reply below

‘ – Good Morning!

Glad you received the boxes and still complaining about the service since we both know how we get along on this project.

Just got a notification from my accounts team that you have requested for a refund. We have tried our best to deliver you the best products at very minimal cost with 2 times hard proof samples and then 50 quantity run.

Since, you are showing me the pictures of the packing which is not exact what we have dispatched as we have our own quality control department and shipping team to take care of these segments I am sure this happened while shipping with courier service.

Secondly, I have a documentation of everything with at my end as well that we have charged you on for one hard proof sample and then we have provided 2 sample just to satisfy you as both samples were produced as per your approval over final spec sheet and lastly full order of 50 boxes was also approved by you after so many changes in the design layout.

I will not provide you any documentation as we both have in our records but I will share the whole scenario with our Bank and PayPal. This is entirely not acceptable that you have received the boxes and then you are claiming nothing is up to mark and this company is a Joke.

However, as you said these boxes are not of any use to you I am pretty much sure that you will not use any of these boxes and return all of them. I request you to not use any of the box as they belong to us now until we sort this issue out.

I am going to give you a call shortly to discuss over phone and then I will submit the request to our bank for a fight back.’

He was not interested in me, just wanted the money and now was preparing to fight me with regards to his shoddy business!!!

AVOID this company like the plague!!!!

There is a reason they won’t claim their trust pilot review profile! Because the company don’t want their customers to be able to express their dissatisfaction with them!! As far as I’m concerned, if you sell something and it’s not as described, that is fraud. End of. I feel like I have been ripped off and they will not hear the end of this
