defunct phone number

I do not recommend Baumhaus in any way including for work which they advertise on Glassdoor (for class 2 drivers) the phon number they have listed (01869 233030) is a defunct non existent number which cannot be connected to, and I have tried to call this number several times recently only to be told I have dialed a wrong number.
I have therefore concluded that Baumhaus as a company is no longer trading does not exist which is fraudulently advertiseing for class 2 drivers...this needs to be addressed immediately!!!!!

Appalling company

My TV ordered from Costco is supposed to be delivered last week and nobody, including Costco, knows where it is because they do not respond to Costco enquiry either. What a rubbish outfit!!

Still waiting for replacement chairs

Still waiting for replacement chairs. 14 weeks of broken promises and waiting for a run in your area!!! Used to be a good company but something has gone badly wrong. Fingers crossed only it gets sorted.

Zero stars if I could

Zero stars if I could.

Baumhaus subsidiary Kinetic Logistics are employed by Costco to deliver their large, fragile items - televisions, for example.

The first issue is that they are uncontactable - even for Costco. Costco say they have to contact this tinpot company by email and get a response within ‘24-48 hours’! Not ideal when customers have taken the day off work to be home for a delivery.

I emailed Baumhaus directly to ask for a phone number. ‘Due to ongoing IT issues’ their phones aren’t working. Someone else’s review from weeks ago says the same. Sounds like a very convenient problem to have when your business model seems to include ignoring everyone.

I have lodged a formal complaint with Costco about Baumhaus/Kinetic. I will not rest until a review of their contract takes place. There are so many proper companies out there who can handle this sort of thing efficiently and without this sort of hassle. I will be encouraging Costco to review their policy.

AVOID AVOID AVOID

AVOID AVOID AVOID, what a bunch of cowboys, ordered item on 1st March and paid, got an email to say delivery on 15th, stayed in all day, nothing, then to be delivered on 22nd, again nothing,then 23rd nothing, on 25th got a text saying tried to deliver but given the wrong address by the company I ordered through, a lie.
So the wait goes on.

No communication on delivery which did not happen

Kenetic were supposed to deliver a large delicate item. It was all scheduled and I had loads of good communication. You got it, it never arrived and nobody let me know so I sat in all afternoon. I bought the item from Costco and so did not have a choice to use this company.

Shocking quality control

Ordered a coffee table

Arrived well packed, but clearly packed damaged

One corner looking like it had been dragged across the floor and as rough as sawn timber. The table top spit full thickness

Offered various amounts to keep rather than return. Strangely I don’t want a piece of broken and damaged timber in my lounge

Either their quality control is rubbish, or as others have suggested they repackage and send out damaged returned items

Either way, unbelievably poor, and 11 days on still waiting for them to advise a collection date

We bought a Baumhaus Shiro walnut 150…

We bought a Baumhaus Shiro walnut 150 cm x 90cm table and a matching 143mm long walnut Shiro sideboard and 4 chairs. All are good quality especially the table which is solid walnut with 12cm square legs. The finish is good and the drawers on the sideboard slide smoothly.

I love this furniture

I love this furniture. It's well constructed, solid and looks great. I have a TV unit and a desk which look great in the room. Looking forward to receiving three bookcases to finish it off.

Utter utter trash how are these people…

Utter utter trash how are these people still trading I will never know. They use a German sounding name to try and fool the public in to believing that the furniture is of German quality .... its not. And as for the company its self it couldn't be further away German efficiency. Just total garbage.

They hide behind emails and when they do reply its a generic email with no customer service what so ever.

They have no idea when their stock will arrive and when it does arrive they deliver it when they feel like it. Not only that when they do deliver it they send one man who is expected to deliver a parcel that nearly weighs 100kg. and when it arrives badly damaged as mine did they took over a MONTH to collect it.

If you think I'm lying buy something but don't say I didn't warn you.

For me I have already contacted trading standards

Please avoid this company

I ordered a sideboard and table in April 2021. I received the sideboard 2 weeks ago, so 6 months later. I now waiting for Baumhaus to deliver me a table that isn't damaged in anyway. I have taken delivery of 3 damaged tables on 3 separate deliveries, and am now waiting for the collection of the 3rd damaged table. I am hoping the 4th table is delivered date free. Baumhaus have offered no apology at all for this terrible customer service. They have been quite happy to take my money, but ate unable to deliver what I have purchased . Please avoid this company of you want a stress free delivery and want to receive good paid for in a timely fashion.

No shelves in 2 TV units - Baumhaus don’t quality assure their items

Had a replacement TV unit ordered through Baumhaus after original unit from retailer came with no shelves. Baumhaus refused to open a cardboard box to check if there were shelves in the replacement unit and even acknowledged that they thought it was a batch issue, and sent it anyway. The unit arrived with no shelves and this time, one of the side cabinet doors also wouldn’t open. Also they didn’t collect the first unit. We have taken a day off work (freelance so won’t get paid) to receive this delivery and it’s again faulty because Baumhaus are unable to open a box to quality check items before sending the out. Still waiting for resolution on this and currently stuck with a faulty unit.

Its ivan barreto here ,had a bad experience previously which i did a review ,but i have to say that they have been amazing and really have solved my previous complaint and gone beyond to put my faith in them ,phil the boss has been amazing .

Awful Communication

Note: Kinetic Logistics and Baumhaus operate under the same banner. According to Company House, Kinetic Logistics was dissolved back in 2018 and shouldn’t even be operational.

Delivery had been scheduled between 14:00 and 17:00 today via Kinetic Logistics, stating the driver will call half an hour before delivery… it’s now past 22:00 - no delivery and no communication from Kinetic Logistics.

In addition, Kinetic Logistics aren’t taking calls ”due to COVID” and their employees working from home (what are their customer support team doing if they can’t take calls at home?!) so can’t even call up to see where the order is. Awful communication.

Utterly rubbish

Where do i start ? Ok i ordered two items from furnish your home ,duncan the agent was great,received the urban chic shoe cupboard ok ,but my god did i have to wait a very long time for my urban chic mirror.
So after constant messaging to a woman called “yve” and someone from kinetic courier who are part of the same etc !
I was told clearly that they are trying to work out the delivery route:),so yesterday i was told on baumhaus chat with yve that my order would be delivered tomorrow between 7/10 am ,so i organised to take time of from my job specially.
So today i was shopping and i get a call via my ring doorbell ,”hello i have a delivery for you “ i said really what is it ,” its a mirror from baumhaus” what a joke ,i was not home and i said to leave it with a neighbour etc,ok he said,what the hell is that about !
No communication they have my email and mobile no to inform me if they are delivering a day early 😅.
Anyway i am disgusted with baumhaus and kinetic how they have dealt with this order !!
So please be aware that there delivery service is pretty crap !!!!!!!!!

Shocking service

Shocking service: Baumhaus sent a heavy desk out and texted that the item would be left at the front door (on a raining day).
My wife and I would not have been able to help move it upstairs to our maisonette flat even if I had been at home and not am working on site in an NHS hospital.
I was told that they would rearrange a delivery - that was two weeks ago and have heard nothing since so requested full refund. Wishing I had checked reviews before buying.....

No quality control!

Terrible company. They care very little about quality control on their products. I ordered the urban chic desk via a third party - the desk arrived damage, large crack in main structure. It was replaced a week later, only to find the replacement is also damaged (been dropped on back corner) and also the drill bits have been broken off in two of the holes needed to attach the legs! I wouldn’t have minded keeping one with minor cosmetic damage, but the replacement can’t even be assembled as the drill bits are firmly stuck. Having to send the second item back for replacement, if they fail again I wouldn’t be surprised. Cause me massive inconvenience as I work from home but for two weeks now have had an unused desk stuck in my house taking up space! I would avoid this company, as a manufacturer they clearly don’t take pride in the quality of their products, and also don’t seem to care that their logistics company have a good track record of damaging consignments! Pretty appalling overall, especially as items returned because of damage I imagine are probably carelessly tossed aside. I’m lucky that the third party supplier acting as the intermediary for the purchase has been incredibly helpful, despite the fact the issues were not caused by them.

very very poor

very very poor, ordered in march 2020 with delivery in july.. nothing when contacted my supplier told it would be aug 2020, contacted them, told to talk to my retailer, did that and he sent me their e-mail to him, which just said, might be here in november.. these guys are selling stuff they havent got, and dont know when it will arrive... avoid, avoid, avoid!!!
