Platform Failure and Zero Accountability

We were forced to refund all of our paid webinars scheduled in June due to multiple failures on WebinarGeek’s end. The platform simply didn’t work as expected, and we had to deal with the fallout—disappointed attendees, lost revenue, and hours of wasted time.

To make matters worse, we were still charged vague “handling fees” with no clear explanation. When your system fails, the burden shouldn’t fall on your customers. We ended up absorbing the costs, both financially and operationally.

Extremely disappointed with the lack of accountability and transparency. Time = money = energy, and WebinarGeek cost us all three.

Nightmare experience

Nightmare experience. So many issues. People could not access the webinar with their paid link. Some did not have a hand to raise. Some did not have a spotlight for us to click to bring them on stage. The reports were incorrect. The main control was not working so we could not see who was there for shout outs etc. we could only tell who was on the webinar if they typed something in chat. Tech did not work as Webinargeek advertised and marketed. We got push back when we needed a human vs the chatbot named Kiki. What was interesting is, Webinargeek did not want to hear what went wrong, they only wanted to be right, which was very strange as we told them we were sharing this info to help them fix it for the next person. This was in real time. so all attendees could see who was typing they didn't have a hand etc. the audience was kind and understanding. Even so, we refunded all paid tickets and apologized for this experience. Nightmare.

As a provider of Chinese medicine…

As a provider of Chinese medicine webinars, we switched from Zoom/Ecamm to Webinar Geek and this was an excellent decision. The transition was surprisingly easy and the quality of our broadcasts has noticeably improved.
With our small business, we constantly experienced sound quality issues with Ecamm. Webinar Geek, on the other hand, offers stable and clear sound quality.
The chat function is particularly useful, allowing participants to ask questions. The system provides quick response times, enabling us to immediately address inquiries about Chinese medicine .
For anyone looking to deliver professional webinars without technical headaches, I highly recommend Webinar Geek.

Amazing platform

Amazing platform!
I loved this platform! I am still using it for all my webinars, it’s amazing!
There is the possibility to do different things, very good because I manage to saved the webinar as well!

Live recording crash and bad support

I liked the onboarding process and the support they gave me. However, during the live webinar the whole system crashed so had no recording of a great webinar with my customers. Although these things should not happen but can happen, the team very much disappointed me with their lack of response and professionalism. I was not allowed to give them a call to understand what happened (funny that it is at these crucial moments it seems you need to have a premium subscription) and got a mail that indeed the product crashed. From all the tools I used the last years, I never had a fatal crash ''during'' a recording of a webinar. It is probably more the emotion of a bad service that reminds me, next to a product that is not reliable. Hope I don't get a downplay marketing response to this feedback.

Whilst mishaps can indeed happen during live webinars, we always try to work it out with our customers to the best of our ability. Furthermore, I would like to note that our primary means of Customer Service is through Chat conversations. Though we can opt to make use of Call Support when we believe that the matter can be better resolved through this way, it should be seen as a last resort, since it can be quite busy on the Chat Support and it restricts us from helping other customers as well. Moreover, this Call Support Service is in no way only for our Premium subscription plan users and can be asked for by everyone!

I am sorry to hear that you had a bad experience with us, and if you would like to discuss this matter again, you can always let us know on Chat Support. We would be happy to pick this up again and properly handle this further!

I am in love with Webinargeek / Verliefd op Webinargeek

I have been using Webinargeek for 7 years now. After using 2 other webinar software programs that did not work for me.
It is amazing how easy Webinargeek works, how stable it is (never had a problem in 7 years with a lot of online live and automated webinars and for me also very important:
Their customer services is always reachable, in my own Dutch language and every time there they have an anwer to what I want to know or do within minutes.

Webinargeek is constantly working on more and better functionalities as well. It is an alround platform. Don't hesitate if you want to give webinars. It is Webinargeek you're looking for.

Webinars and Webinargeek changed my business forever.

In het Nederlands:

Ik werk nu 7 jaar met Webinargeek, na teleurstellingen met twee andere dure webinarsystemen.
Het is ongelooflijk makkelijk hoe Webinargeek werkt en hoe stabiel het is. In 7 jaar heb ik nog nooit een probleem gehad met mijn wekelijkse online, live en opgenomen webinars.

Wat voor mij ook heel belangrijk is: Hun klantenservice is altijd bereikbaar en werkt ook gewoon in het Nederlands. Elke keer weer hebben zij het antwoord op een vraag of probleem waar ik tegenaan loop.

Webinargeek werkt continue aan verbeteringen en nieuwe functionaliteiten. Het is een alround platform. Als je webinars wilt geven of klaar bent met problemen bij andere webinarproviders, zoek dan niet verder, maar begin gewoon met Webinargeek. Daar krijg je geen spijt van.

Software Training Manager - 5 stars all around!

As a software training manager, my team definitely needed a webinar/training software that checked all of the boxes in terms of features, functionality, and customer service. WebinarGeek checks all of those boxes, and then some! The on-demand option has been a time saver that we never knew we needed, and their support team is so easy to work with, and friendly! I've had multiple suggested feature requests, and there have been a few I've seen added. I love this platform - can't recommend enough!

Still a WIP, but has 5 star potential

I have been working with WebinarGeek as our main webinar platform for over a year. Although there are still some missing features, their customer support is fantastic and the team is always willing to take in your requests. The company does a great job of rolling out new features on a regular basis so you know the product is constantly evolving. I am glad we joined when they were in beta form as I see them getting better and better!

The website prevents the possibility of…

The website prevents the possibility of ending the subscription. If you try to end it you get a chatbot asking you questions why you want to quit. You can't end the subscription on your own. You have to wait for the company to end it on your behalve.

Really bad experience

Really bad experience. Software locked me out 10 minuted before the delivery of a paid webinar. I had to reschedule which caused some said delegates to ask for a refund. Tried to get their online customer service tech to help but they ignored my question and failed to rectify. Also you dont have control who enters if the link is shared which 1 i dont like and 2 is a facility other companies offer.
lesson learned. go with a better , more reliable company. I run a professional paid webinar company and this has affected my reputation.

This a good platform

This a good platform. I switched from EverWebinar because they were failing to send email confirmations to about 10% of my leads (meaning they were losing me thousands of dollars each month), and they could not solve the issue.

Webinar Geek has great customer service, and although they don't have all the features that EverWebinar has (I wish they did), things are working out well for us with this platform.

I haven't had any glitches or tech malfunctions, which is important because I'm running a couple of webinars each day.

I did research on a ton of webinar platforms, and Webinar Geek came the closest to having every feature I needed and to be dependable.
