Awful experience and unprofessional staff

I lived in one of their apartments in Seattle for three years, and they charged over $1000 for stuff like "dry wall repair", "hook removal", and even an 85 dollar "cleaning fee", which is clearly against the RCW. Connecting to a real team member to answer a question is almost impossible, starting from the minute you sign the lease. Instead, they hired third-party phone answerers who were unfamiliar with their properties, so they never provided any assistance.

Worst ever property management company

Worst ever property management company, it was a mess when we moved in, a lot of appliances and furniture were damaged, and left unrepaired. Super slow maintenance responses, we had to keep calling them in order to get things fixed. Ceiling leaks when it rains. No mailbox keys were given to us at all for a year. Promised weekly cleaning service and only got it for like two months, then no cleaning after that. When we moved out, we got charged a third of the security deposit, which is a joke, cus it had all the damages when we moved in.

Student apartment leasing

My daughter has been living for a year in an apartment in LA owned by Tripalink to pursue her education in UCLA.
Tripalink delivers an extremely poor customer service. They never answered maintenance requests. They never delivered the cleaning of the apartment as they were engaged to as per the contract. The lease is now over. They never answered the lease termination request. I have been waiting for more than a month now to know about the reimbursement of the deposit. I still have nothing. I do strongly recommend to stay away from this company.

Tripalink Promises Safety, Then Disappears When You Need It

This is my 2nd review (first one is from ~10 months ago under Bee Bee when I was looking at touring their apartments, it was all bad since then. Feel free to read that review. I decided to give them a chance despite their unprofessionalism and unorganizedness and it quite literally ruined my mental health completely. I did not expect any of this when I moved in.)

I was drawn to Tripalink for the affordable rent and thought I’d found a great deal + modern units. I genuinely expected ATLEAST an okay experience.

As my lease is now ending here is my experience from someone who rented with Tripalink for the first time.

First, I spent the majority of my lease avoiding my own apartment. I would regularly drive an hour just to stay at a friend’s place as mine became hell for me. I did not feel comfortable or safe in my own home with a neighbor who was obnoxiously being loud, which I ignored for a couple months until I no longer could because it was that loud, then it turned into harassment and stalking outside of the shared building.

For over seven months, I raised this concern. I’d wait weeks or months, for a reply. When they responded, nothing ever got resolved. My last email, which was sent over a month ago, explained how the issue had gotten progressively concerningly worse because of their continued failure to take ANY action. I haven’t seen a response for a month.

Meanwhile, everyday I get texts and emails about discounts for lease renewal or social events. That alone speaks volumes about where Tripalink’s priorities really are: keeping up their appearances over meaningful action to keep their residents SAFE and COMFORTABLE in their own home.

Tripalink claims to provide professional support and safe housing. But when you actually need help, they disappear. I followed every protocol, was patient, documented everything and still got nowhere. It often felt like they didn’t even follow or perhaps even read their own lease agreement...

I didn’t choose to move out because I wanted to. I moved out because I genuinely have no choice. If you're considering living here, ask yourself how much your safety and peace of mind are worth. Because with Tripalink, the low price came at a much higher cost.

After being ignored and dismissed for so long, my anger faded into something heavier. Tripalink doesn’t care about their residents; they just want your money. Whatever problems arise are yours to handle, even if they control all the resources and break promises laid out in the lease. Honestly, I’d rather deal with the worst management company in the worst neighborhood than live under Tripalink’s neglect.

Tripalink is the worst apartment I’ve…

Tripalink is the worst apartment I’ve ever rented. The staff are extremely irresponsible, the facilities are terrible, and the actual living experience after signing the contract is completely different from what was promised. Compared to other places my friends have rented, the value for money is very poor. As soon as my lease ends, I’m moving out of this disgusting place immediately.

Run away from Tripalink

Run away from Tripalink, do not walk. I'm a seasoned property manager in affordable housing, so I know a scam when I see it. From start to finish, they did sneaky stuff, from the bait-and-switch on the initial apartment they showed me, to the bogus $120 'cleaning fee' they charged me at the conclusion of my 6-month lease - my stay wasn't good. They advertised 'air conditioning' in my unit, but it was a managed heat exchanger system that didn't allow me stand-alone control of the temperature in my apartment. Maybe that's how they do things in Communist China, but it doesn't fly in L.A. Their website marketing is slick, but don't be fooled - the common-space furniture and decorations were fiction at Green House in Koreatown - it was a barren hellscape. If you're a rich foreign student attending USC, you won't care about any of this. But if you're an adult looking for a normal apartment, expect to be lied to AND nickel-and-dimed within an inch of your life. The vast majority of market-rate landlords are predatory, and Tripalink is no exception.

Tripalink has to be one of the worst…

Tripalink has to be one of the worst companies I have ever had to deal with. They don't answer their phones or call you back, and if you do happen to get a human, they don't know the answer to any questions you ask. They can't even tell you why you are being charged fees.

DO NOT use them!! They will rip you off, give you bad service, and then pretend like they don't know what you are talking about.

Kaye, a "manager," doesn't return calls, even after promising she would. All I wanted was the correct information!!

Unorganized bad business

Be aware. This company duplicates all the charges and doesn't give back your security deposit.
I've been in contact with them since August of 2024 and I haven't received back my security deposit.
Kaye the supervisor at the LA office refuses to talk to me. Unacceptable costumer service.

SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE.

SAVE YOURSELF THE HEADACHE.
I was a tenant at tripalink USC for 2 years and spent two years dealing with constant issues. My bed room leaked non stop for a year, they would send someone out to "fix it" only for it to continue leaking the next rain cycle. On top of the issues I expirenced living there I have now been waiting for my security deposit to be returned for 4 months. It seems that either they are slum lord liars or completely inept, I dont know which is worse

BEST COMPANY EVER!

I've worked with a lot of companies before, but I can say that Tripalink offer the best flexible work arrangements and an ideal work-life balance for me and my family.

The people are the best part in this company. They have been very nice, accommodating and will help you thrive and foster as a person and career-wise.

It's also a bonus that they pay handsomely with a lot of incentives. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!!!
