From the paint finish to the ride feel

From the paint finish to the ride feel, Teleport nailed the details. The integrated display looks sleek and works perfectly, even in sunlight. PAS level 5 gives serious speed when I need it, and the throttle is perfect for lazy days. After 2 months of rides, zero issues.

I ordered my bike last year and it arrived in August as promised. The rear rack and lights were installed perfectly. I use it for short rides around California and it's been very comfortable and quiet. Customer support also replied quickly when I had a small question about battery care.

Found this company on Instagram

Found this company on Instagram. I've been looking for a bike like this for my wife for the last year. What drew me in was the low weight and ultra long range. The design and specs were impressive and I wanted a nimble ebike for my wife, and not a big and bulky 60 lb+ ebike.

I put down a $99 deposit for their batch 2 launch. I emailed support and asked a few questions about the specs and launch timeline. I was emailing with Andrew, and he was always prompt in his replies, one time even replying to my question in 40 min.

I unfortunately had to cancel, as I learned that they do not have a frame size for 4'11 riders. I emailed Andrew and he replied back 2h later and issued the refund.

More impressive is that the $99 was credited back to my account the same day. I've had previous experiences with other companies, where they will not give back your deposit right away and they will drag it out over days and weeks. Teleport's reply was refreshing and showed high integrity.

I'm giving Teleport Ride 5 stars due to:

Their impressive bike, both the design and specs are better than anything I've seen.
Their quick to reply and knowledgeable customer support.
Most importantly, they gave me my $99 deposit back within hours with no hassle, which is a sign of an honest and trustworthy business.

Hi Gregory,

Thank you for the thoughtful review and for giving us a chance during our Batch 2 launch. While we’re sorry we couldn’t accommodate a 4'11" rider this time around, we’re really glad to hear our team — especially Andrew — left a strong impression.

We’ve worked hard to build a lightweight, high-performance bike that stands out from the crowd, and it means a lot that you noticed the difference — not just in the specs, but in how we treat people. Your experience is exactly what we’re aiming for.

If we ever offer an even smaller frame in the future, we’ll be sure to let you know.

Buyer PLEASE beware

Buyer beware. This company is actively supressing any criticisms since they are gearing up for a batch 2. They were 'based' in Edmonton Canada and are now saying they are 'based' in Denver. Please do not fall for this. I was part of batch 1 and actually received my bike. Many did not even receive one. I was part of a FB group, was banned because we had valid questions and concerns about the product and delivery delays, and there was another group that Teleport actively worked to get removed, there was a Reddit group that they also rallied to remove. You will lose your money on this falsely advertised bike. There are not different size, the motor is not 750w, does not have a torque sensor, it does not go up to 28 mph, the seat and grips are not leather, the accessories are sub-par. Do not do it.

After reading this response, this company is still being dishonest. The brakes are not regenerative, the grips and saddle were not leather, the motor was not 750 w, it did not have a torque sensor and it is highly doubtful that they were 'bought' by a new owner and moved to Denver. This is an attempt at a rebrand and to distance themselves from the horrible reviews and their online censorship and legal threats to Facebook, Reddit, etc. This is not a legitimate and reliable company or business.

(We acquired Teleport Ride in 2025 and are addressing legacy reviews with care.)

Hi Vickie,

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. I understand your concerns, and I’d like to provide a bit of context and history:

Teleport Ride originally launched in 2023 in Edmonton, Canada, and the first bikes — now known as Batch 1 — were delivered in 2024 under the brand’s original ownership and leadership. In 2025, our group acquired the company and transitioned all operations to Denver, Colorado, where we’ve focused on improving both the product and the overall rider experience.

The model you received was part of that original Batch 1, developed under the prior team. It featured a compact 127mm hub motor, selected to support regenerative braking and keep the bike lightweight and low-profile. But that came with trade-offs — specifically, lower torque at higher speeds, which made it harder for some riders to reach the advertised 28 mph, especially when using throttle only or carrying extra weight.

We received a broad range of feedback on Batch 1 — some riders were genuinely happy with their bikes, while others pointed out areas for improvement. We've listened carefully to both. While many riders appreciated its design, regenerative braking system, long range, and low weight, we also made significant upgrades in response to the feedback we received.

Batch 1 has since been discontinued, and we’ve invested over $2 million into developing Batch 2, which launched in late 2025, with deliveries beginning in 2026. This new version includes:

A 157mm motor for stronger torque, better acceleration, and improved top-end speed
A larger-capacity controller with redesigned thermal housing
An upgraded 4A fast charger
New puncture-resistant 700C x 38C CST tires
Vegan, eco-friendly grips and saddle
Frame sizing updates for better rider fit
Upgraded drivetrain, battery system, and display platform

I’d be happy to speak with you directly. Depending on your situation, I may be able to send you a Batch 2 bike free of charge, as a gesture of goodwill. You can reach me at will.g@teleportride.com — and I’ll make sure your message is handled personally.

William Gaston

Did I get the same bike as the 5-star reviewers?

I must have gotten a different product than all the 5 star reviews. Maximum speed on flat ground is definitely not 28 mph, more like 21 mph. I have another ebike with excellent and smooth torque sensor for pedal assist and the Teleport bike does not even seem to have a torque sensor. I have yet to get more than 30 mile on a single full charge. I am overall very disappointed with this bike and would say it definitely does not live up to the company hype.

Hi Eric,

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback — I’m sorry to hear that your experience hasn’t matched your expectations. I appreciate you highlighting your perspective on speed, torque, and range, and I want to offer some context that may help explain what you’re seeing.

To start, here’s a quick history of the brand:

Teleport Ride launched in 2023 in Canada, and by Summer 2024, the original team delivered its first batch of bikes to early adopters across North America. That first batch was a pilot production run — and while many riders appreciated its design, regenerative braking system, and simplicity, there were also performance critiques that gave us a lot to learn from. In 2025, our team acquired the brand and moved operations to Denver, Colorado. The Batch 1 model you received was discontinued in early 2024 and has not been produced since.

Backed by new capital and engineering resources, we spent the following year rethinking every aspect of the bike. In late 2025, we’re finally launching Batch 2 — a much-improved version redesigned from the ground up and built on real rider feedback.

Since taking over, we’ve invested over $2,000,000 into engineering a solution. Batch 2 now features:

A new 157mm motor (up from 127mm) that delivers greater torque, stronger top-end power, and 30% better acceleration

A larger-capacity controller paired with a redesigned controller box at the bottom bracket for improved thermal management and sustained output

A completely new battery and BMS platform, built around the 2025-model LG cells

And many other improvements across drivetrain, display, tires, charger, and frame sizing

It’s a completely different ride — faster, smoother, and much more refined.

I’d really like to make this right for you. Depending on your situation, I may be able to send you a Batch 2 bike free of charge, at no additional cost — as a sign of goodwill.
Please reach out to me directly at will.g@teleportride.com — I’d be happy to help personally.

Thanks again for being part of the journey and for helping us build something better.

Best regards,

William Gaston

Great Ride, Rough Start

Performance-wise, the bike is solid—light, fast, and handles beautifully. But shipping was slow, and the assembly instructions weren’t beginner-friendly. It took some trial and error to get it set up. That said, once it was ready, the ride totally made up for the hassle. Still, I wish the setup process had been smoother.

Hi Natalie,

Thanks so much for the honest and thoughtful review. We’re really glad to hear the ride performance delivered once you got rolling — light, fast, and smooth is exactly what we were aiming for.

We also hear you on the shipping delays and setup experience. Those early challenges helped shape our priorities after taking over the brand. In 2025, we moved operations to Denver, Colorado, and invested $2,000,000 into upgrading the bike and the overall experience — including better packaging, clearer setup guidance, and faster fulfillment.

We’re now launching the much-improved Batch 2, with deliveries beginning in Spring 2026 — and feedback like yours played a meaningful role in getting us here.

Thanks again for riding with us.

Best regards,

Smooth, Strong, and Stylish

I was skeptical of the hype—but this thing delivers. The torque sensor makes pedaling feel natural, and the motor engages so smoothly you barely notice it. Took it off-road and the tires held up perfectly. As for the paint job? Still flawless. It strikes the perfect balance between rugged and refined.

Hi Elizabeth,

Thank you for the glowing review — we’re thrilled to hear the ride quality, motor feel, and durability lived up to your expectations. It's great to know the torque sensor and tires held up off-road and that the finish is still going strong. “Rugged and refined” is exactly what we hoped to achieve.

Your feedback (and that of many other early riders) helped guide the next chapter. In 2025, we acquired the brand, relocated to Denver, Colorado, and invested $2,000,000 into improving the bike across the board — from the motor and controller to the battery, frame sizing, tires, and finish. Batch 2 will start deliveries in spring 2026.

Thanks again for being part of the journey — and for helping shape what came next.

I've been using my bike for a few months and I am pleased with my purchase. The weight is low and the range and acceleration impressive. I was looking for a low weight bike with high performance and long range. The build quality, the components such as the integrated display, brakes, etc. have all exceeded my expectations. I've had zero issues so far after hundreds of miles and it's been a pleasure to ride.

Hi Benny,

Thank you for the thoughtful review — it’s great to hear the bike has been such a strong match for what you were looking for. Lightweight, long-range performance is exactly what we set out to deliver, so knowing it’s held up over hundreds of miles means a lot.

Your feedback — along with that of many other early riders — helped guide our next chapter. In 2025, we acquired the brand, moved operations to Denver, Colorado, and invested $2,000,000 into improving everything from motor performance and battery systems to the display, drivetrain, tires, and sizing. The result is our new Batch 2, launching in November with deliveries beginning in March 2026.

Regenerative Braking That Delivers

One of the main selling points for me was the self-charging system with regenerative braking. I was skeptical at first, but after several rides, I’m genuinely impressed. It really does extend the range—especially in stop-and-go traffic or on hills. You can feel the resistance kick in near 28 mph when using pedal assist. And that 100-mile range? It’s not just marketing—I’ve actually hit it in real-world use.

Hi Gabriel,

Really appreciate you taking the time to share this — it’s great to hear that the regenerative braking system delivered for you. That feature was one of the more ambitious elements of the design, and hearing that it’s made a real impact on range, especially in stop-and-go conditions, reinforces why we built it the way we did.

Since taking over the brand, we’ve continued refining every aspect of the bike. In 2025, we moved operations to Denver, Colorado, and invested $2,000,000 into engineering upgrades — including a more powerful motor, new controller, updated battery platform, improved drivetrain, and a reworked sizing system. Batch 2 launches this November, with deliveries beginning in Spring 2026.

Thanks again for your early support — and for helping shape what came next.
