it was easy to order online and the response gave a time frame for the delivery.. and kept to it.
The cost was given and was accurate.
The delivery driver deserves more support as the 'ticket' was brief because of lack of printing at HQ, some kind of fault in the printer. Nonetheless this was accurately given later by email. Overall my expectations were met fully.

I appreciate the driver who kindly lets me know , in advance of his approximate delivery time …. I really do like to be-able to turn off my heating ,only just before your arrival , on a cold day …. To be-able to turn the heating on again , as soon as the oil in the tank after the new delivery has settled .

Having been a customer for several years I am very disappointed in the service recently received.
I ordered 700 litres on the 13th February with delivery on or before 20/02/2025, I phoned through on the Thursday 20th to be told that delivery would now be either the 21st or 24th February.
I then get a text and email late Friday afternoon to say that the delivery would now be on Saturday 22nd, I phoned through mid day on Saturday to confirm the delivery which I was told that yes, the delivery was on for Saturday.
My father stayed in all day on Saturday and NO ONE TURNED UP!!!
This unfortunately is unacceptable, my father is 94 and has dementia, not turning up to him is a major upset and because we now cannot rely on your service, we will take our business elsewhere.
Needless to say, please cancel the outstanding order.

I have been a loyal customer for about 10 years with Swan petroleum. I currently pay £150 a month by direct debit so there is always plenty of money in my account with them .I've always had slight problems with them but just let it go because they were local BUT this week I had had enough ,when calling them the phone was always answered in a couple of rings but this time it was just ringing so i pressed 2 on the phone for commercial, they answered straight away but couldn't help so they put me through to domestic sales.So I eventually eventually ordered 500L and told the sales person that I was down to 2 bars on my oil topup indicator.I was told that it would be delivered on 18/02/25 which was in 8 days times .By about 04.45PM I called them because the oil had not arrived. I had the same problems getting through eventually the advisor said that the oil isn't coming today but it will be in the next few days and we will email you to let you know. I was at this stage very cross because I now had only 1 bar of oil left. I tried pushing for a delivery date but they wouldn't give me one .The advisor offered be a £10 discount which I didn't care about a discount I just wanted my oil .I told the advisor if I could get a delivery of oil from another company I was going to close my account and wanted a refund of the monies held in my account. The advisor said no don't do that but I advised her that they should be looking after their regular customers. Anyway I got a delivery off another company the next day, I have emailed swan petroleum to request a refund of my monies in my account and I have not had a reply from them. This is first class customer service 👏 👌 Well done Swan

Delivery was delayed again
Delivery was delayed, without contacting me. Due date 13th Delivery on 18th.
I am 72 years old and I suffer from arthritis, this is only the second Delivery and both were late .
I shall use another supplier next time
