Sales assistant was so professional and helpful. Took the time to advise things on the furniture that we hadn't really noticed. Also advised on the protection available for stain guard etc

Good product. Good service. Slight problem regarding delivery. Delivery to North West Highlands involved a second carrier and they only dealt with two man loads on Mondays so we were forced into two trips up North.

I was on a 'mission' today to replace furniture in a rented property i have and obviously having to wait till after Xmas for delivery wasn't an option with the potential of 3 months lost rent. Jason and Thomas were set the task concentrating only current available stock and amazingly achieved what I had initially deemed impossible. Delivery anticipated in 2 weeks!! One HaPpY Landlady! On a recent visit to the Tillicoultry store,my wife noticed a large wall art painting she loved was on sale within the newly revamped dining table area.
It was a must have purchase at the price advertised and we were served by Ryan-an exceptionally friendly and polite young man who is a true credit to your company.
FYI we’ve been back in the store today just for another delicious breakfast,and yet again made further purchases with bedding and a wall clock both on sale.

I had previously visited the branch at Uddingston and decided while there to purchase the rug but waited until i was home to order online. The staff in the store were lovely and very helpful without being pushy. The website was easy to navigate and I was happy to purchase from it.

Ordered a sofa and on the order confirmation we were told we'd receive it in 14 weeks.
12 weeks later we hadn't received any emails or phone calls, and when we contacted the customer service team we were advised there's been an issue with the order and it will be delayed by 2 months.
If we hadn't gotten in touch we would have been expecting a sofa that never would have been delivered.
The customer service agent was not apologetic about this. Very poor and would not buy from again.

Such poor service and communication.
We ordered online and paid for Premium Delivery within 14 weeks. However, 2 weeks prior to that date, we hadn't received any further correspondence, so we contacted them.
I spoke to the team in the morning as I was told I would receive a call back in the afternoon, which didn't happen.
Called back the next day just to be told the delivery is delayed until early December, 6 weeks later, and we had to chase to find that out?

I’m usually completely put off by salespeople, but my experience at Sterling Home,was a real surprise. Aaron helped me when we went in, and he was the opposite of the typical pushy salesperson - genuinely friendly, easy to talk to, and just spoke to me like a person rather than trying to sell something. It made the whole experience so relaxed that I ended up buying a sofa for my sons new flat there and then. Really refreshing to meet someone who clearly cares about helping rather than just making a sale. Thanks, Aaron!

Very disappointed with customer service and quality of item especially having bought many things at this store previously including a leather sofa but had a bad experience this year. Bought a leather sofa and within 5 months of taking delivery the was wear visible on the seams on the sofa seat and flattening of the arms. Technician made a visit and agreed that the wear on the seat should not be happening and re-dyed and lacquered the area. Refluffed the arm. He advised that it was likely to happen again and to use a throw on the seat of the sofa and cushions on the arms to prevent the same happening again. Not happy with this advice and customer service not helpful. Not a cheap sofa and never had an issue with our previous leather sofa from same sofa. Last purchase from this store.

I had a good experience at Sterling Tillicoultry in the furniture and flooring departments. All the staff were attentive and helpful. Delighted with my suite and carpets and LVT. Highly recommended for great choice value and service.

Currently on sofa number 4 in 2 years from sterling. The first one called the hoy was faulty with a warped frame, 3 tech visits concluded there was nothing wrong finally we had someone confirm our concerns the frame was totally warped he agreed this was over the course of 12 months, we then selected a nicolleti sofa called the puccini within days the cushions had sunk and back rest too after a bit of back and forward with cs they agreed to a replacement we selected the exact same sofa we rejected this the day it turned up it was a mess all wrinkled fabric looked shabby and old very dissapointing as it was not cheap, cs again very reluctantly agreed to a reselection this time we plumped for a british made sofa called the fern salesman guided us through the choice of foam seating we chose high resilience foam as it doesnt need plumping and doesnt lose shape well that was utter lies every time we stand up i have to plump it back to shape eventually after 3 months i thought i have to call cs about this im really not pleased about being sold something i havent actually got, tech came on monday his report states cushions are satisfactory much to our dissapointment utterly fed up with the whole situation now and it has put me off ever buying a new sofa ever again our opinion of sterling has gone downhill for sure and would think twice on recommending them to anyone now we payed cash for our sofa that is another regret.would like to add i will now be a further £520 out of pocket as i have no option but to pay for an upholsterer to change the foam cushions, will only be doing the sofa as i cant afford to do the cuddle chair as well, really cant afford to do the sofa but i cant live with what i think is inferior quality foam cushions cant see where the resilience part comes into it.
