A lot went wrong!...I purchased the sofa on 12th Aug with delivery to be made on 15th Aug. When it was delivered by the delivery company (designated by Seats & Sofas), turned out the legs for one of the sofas was missing from the package and the legs on the other one were somewhat damaged (with some cracks) but functional. My ordeal had just begun, after many phone calls & much pleading finally those missing legs were provided for pick-up on 5th Sep. Replacement (or backup) for the damaged legs on the 2nd sofa are still awaited (no formal response to the Service Request). Extremely disappointed, they have good stock to show, but this is the reality of delivery, so avoid if you can!

After my first review showing their way to still people, they send to me email , asking me to send my contact details. I did and I received a phone call asking me this time to pay 400 euro for Repairing my sofas ( even is their responsibilities to fix it) because was in the garantie time. After I refuse the woman she called me start talking with arrogance and telling me that I must pay so otherwise I must fix myself. 
So guys , take care , far away from this thieves. 
I hope the money they stole me , they are going to use for medicine to cure their worst sickness. Starting from the seller , the one who call to fix the issues and the owner. Thieves.........

Urgent Complaint – Refund Request for Returned Sofa (€1,300)
Dear Seat and Sofa Team,
On 23.07.2025, I purchased a sofa from your Zoeterwoude branch. On that date, the sales staff put strong pressure on me to make the purchase and assured me that I could return it within 14 days for a full refund. Relying on this statement, I decided to buy the sofa.
On 31.07.2025, I went back to the store to return the sofa in full. At first, a female staff member told me that I did not have the right to return it. However, I am aware of my consumer rights under Dutch law. Therefore, I asked to speak to the male staff member who had sold me the sofa. When he arrived, I reminded him that he had told me I had the right to return it. He confirmed this, admitted that he was aware of the situation, and assured me that he would process the return. He also informed me that my money would be refunded within approximately 5 days.
It has now been 20 days, and I still have not received my refund. This situation has left me in serious financial difficulty and caused me great distress.
On 14.08.2025, I received an email with the subject line: "Verzoek aanvraag (deel-)annulering koopovereenkomst 99082905."
This seems to indicate a partial cancellation, which is incorrect, as I returned the sofa in full. I demand the full refund of €1,300 immediately.
It is unacceptable that such a well-known company across the Netherlands provides such poor customer service. I am extremely dissatisfied and hereby urgently request that you transfer my full refund without any further delay.

This is our second purchase from Seats and Sofas, and we are very satisfied. Their customer service is among the best we've experienced in the Netherlands, making it easier to make an informed decision. The expert sales personnel helped us understand which materials would best suit our sofa choice and lifestyle as a family with young children. While we initially wanted to make additional customizations, the cost considerations led us to stick with the standard fittings. I have bought a couch from Seats and Sofas it was beautiful with a good quality but unfortunately one side was shorter than what I ordered. The process of return was not easy at all that I had to make many visits to the store in Zoeterwoude asking to handle this and solve the problem 
but at the end they took the couch back and gave me my money back.
After all I would thank Seats n Sofas for their response n I would be happy to be a customer.

I submitted a complaint about my sofa. The agent called back saying that they are not able to replace the sofa. When I said - fine, please send me a confirmation that I don't have a right of a replacement sofa. They said "we cannot send you this in writing, we only do oral confirmation, this is our policy". When I asked again, they hung up. I think this is very suspicious that they don't want to send their refusal in writing. If that is the policy - then please confirm it in writing. They refused, tried to change topic and then hung up. They kept saying that the oral confirmation is also a confirmation. But if so, then why not send me an email with the same information? The employee also didn't want to share her name. I don't trust their practices and don't recommend you buy there.

We purchased a Harvey sofa on 4th January from Seatsandsofas Zoterwoude. It was a stock model, so we paid the full amount and also asked for their delivery service to deliver and set up the sofa at my house. We got it delivered and setup on 11 January but I found there is a tear on the armrest and I immediately reported the same to the service center with videos/pictures. I was expecting a quick resolution as it's an expensive sofa and I didn't want to use the defective product. To my surprise I received a response from their customer service saying they are not liable for the defect and it might be the fault of the delivery company (which is their vendor only, I didn't choose them), so they can't fix it. they have shared another repair company who needs to see the damage and I need to pay them to fix it. I mean seriously? You delivered a defective product, I reported that on the same day and immediately you are brushing your shoulder off? It's you or your delivery company responsible, and you should be fixing it, not me. I will wait for a day or two else will raise it with Consumer department. I'm not going to pay a penny. If you can't fix, give my money back.

I don't recommend this store, even they don't deserve one star. they are doing everything to make you buy their product and after that, they don't listen to you.
I went to the Zoeterwoude branch and made a contract for two seats. the seller's way was very tough and not respectable so his manager came to finalize the deal with me.  
i chose seats with a specific color/fabric. the seller wrote down the wrong fabric/color in the contract although i asked him multiple time if he wrote the correct data.
also, he told he has agreed with the delivery company about a specific amount.
after that, the delivery company called me and told me to pay more. after a lot of negotiation and call with "seats and sofa", i agreed to pay the new price to avoid all of this hassle.
then i got the seats with the wrong fabric/color, i contacted "seats and sofa" and explained the situation and they asked me to come and bring the photos of the seats.
I went to the store and it was empty, they just wrote a normal complaint and told me that they will contact me later.
a day later no one contacted me so i called them and the lady told me she can't help me because i got the fabric that was mentioned in the contract. i told her that was not my fault, her collogue wrote the wrong fabric, she won't want to hear me and talked with me in a not polite way and said (how can i belive u and not believe my collogue ). i didn't ask her to return the seats, i just asked her to get the seats that i chose. 
at this point, i asked her to escalate that issue to her manager to solve this issue, she didn't agree and asked me to come to the store and meet him and she didn't agree to give me the exact times he goes to the store.
I called them multiple times and asked about the manager and every time they gave me a different day/time. i felt i ran in a cycle so i am really disappointed and not recommend this company (zero quality, zero staff ).

Ordered Last March 19 for a sofa - 12weeks past no available sofa or update from them need to call every week to ask for an update. But good thing was, we refunded the whole payment on June 15.
Time and money wasted on waiting for the sofa.
