Illegible receipts
In Southern California precisely Glendale. I never go to Ralph’s anymore because they closed the toiletries isle and you have to pay for any toiletries at a different register. And to top it up I always get illegible receipts. Avoid and go somewhere else
BAIT and SWITCH
After several years using Instacart, I see Ralph's BOOST program..NO TIP INVOLVED>>>!!! yes. Only to find out Instacart STILL asking for tips. Jeesh. BAIT and SWITCH. Going to Smart and Final. Maybe same costs? NO deception from BOOST.
Great shopping experience
Excellent prices and very easy to find everything I was looking for. I love shopping at Ralph’s
Deep Disappointment with Sushi Quality and Preparation
I'm writing to express my ongoing disappointment with the sushi offerings at your store.
For months now, l've been increasingly dissatisfied with the quality, choice of ingredients, and especially the preparation-most notably the way the fish is cut.
What was once a reliable and enjoyable sushi experience has consistently declined.
Today was especially frustrating. I discovered that Private Selection has now taken over the sushi preparation.
There's no longer any trace of the skilled Japanese staff who used to craft the food with care. Instead, it appears that Ralphs workers, only minimally trained, are now handling everything. This change is glaringly obvious in the food.
My usual go-to-the Big Wave Poke
Bowl with salmon and tuna-was really good in the past but today It lacked essential ingredients, especially avocado, and tasted thrown together.
The California Spicy Roll was no better: noticeably smaller, bland, and nowhere near the quality I was used to when it was prepared by the Zenshi sushi chefs.
Beyond the taste and quality issues, the overall selection has become
incredibly limited. This is more than just a disappointing shift-it feels like you've completely lost what made your sushi offerings special.
I know I'm not the only customer who feels this way, and you've likely lost many regulars because of these changes.
I truly hope you'll reconsider the direction you're taking with your sushi program. It's a big letdown for those of us who used to count on Ralphs for fresh, flavorful sushi with authentic preparation.
I purchased 3 books of forever stamps
I purchased 3 books of forever stamps. I was only given 2 books and did not know until I got home. The cashier put them directly in the bag. When I got home I saw only 2? I went back to the store and they said they gave me 3 books! The cashier that said I got 2 is named Veronica B and the manager who said I got 3 is Gloria Lopez. I would like to see the camera, they refused. This is ridiculous that they think I would go
I have proof with receipts and they still deny it!!!
I just received an email from their customer service sending me my receipt which showed the 3 books of stamps yet they say I only purchased 2???? Clearly someone at their end needs to get their eyes checked!!!!
Stupid idea of digital coupon
Stupid idea of digital coupon. Need to go to their App to get the advertised price. So dumb. Such a hassle to get groceries
Keep your products until expires. I am not shopping at Ralphs anymore
This is discrimination for some people not having phone and knowledge of using App.
Rude dishonest so called sales manager…
Rude dishonest so called sales manager Manny disrespected my elderly mother slandered her then told her he has the right to speak to her however he likes this is America and embarrassed her to the point of tears, she is 80 and always kind!! And then when I went in to confront him he acted scared and playing dumb and placed all blame on her then when I asked him why he chose the verbiage he did he lied to my face like a scared child and would not even admit guilt so cameras WILL be reviewed and John the manager and corporate will both be contacted
Re: Oralia
Oralia(I believe I have spelled her name correctly) at the Orange, Ca store on Chapman/Main needs to learn how to respect Customers. She is a checker and was very rude. I shopped around and the store for awhile. I then went to check out. I had three different transactions as I was watching my budget. Not sure where things went wrong, but by the end of the 2nd transaction, there were 6 Employees surrounding me watching what was going on and laughing at me. Even the "rent a cop" Male was staring at me and laughing. I've never seen such a dirty look as he gave me and was very unsettling feeling. I heard him laugh at least two times at me. The checker was just as rude and upset me. I stayed calm as I couldn't understand what all this chaos was about. I've never been so humiliated by someone in Customer Service.
I'm still unsure why the Checker and all the Employees surrounded me and were laughing. I'm also unsure as to why She had an attitude with me. This is my second time ever shopping at this particular location.
I will be posting this on Social media as to keep other Individuals from going through the same humiliation as I.
Ralphs, please take the time to make sure your Employees are doing their job properly. After all, if it wasn't for us Customers, your Employees wouldn't have a job

Terrible store
Expensive grocery store, most complicated app to get digital deals. They make you jump through hoops. It asks your age, what does that have to do with grocery shopping? I just moved and it’s the only store nearby. I miss my Stater Bros. No games there. Good bye Kroger.
Constant overcharging, coupons don’t work often, staff are rude
For the love of god, fix your stupid coupon clipping system or stop wasting our time!
Just offer a price and make it easy to receive the price we are offered whilst in store!!!!
Teach your staff NOT to blame the customer like we are the issue. 3 managers in one week did this. A register person admitted it was an error but didn’t apologise either. So much time wasted not to mention being treated like crap.
I spend so much at Ralph’s. I serve myself as I can monitor the price I’m charged better…,,because atleast twice a week I am over charged. The clipping issues are additional.
Stale Brussel sprouts….we message via app to report this after trying to use them for dinner. Ur service agent could t be bothered to find them on our account so flicks it back to us. We waste more time giving you the info you already gave access to. Then you waste more time. Then after a lot of time has passed you tell us to go back to store. Jesus! Those stake Brussel sprouts are in the bin as they were not edible like we told you. You should have immediately sent us back to store if you needed the product. Why waste our time and string us along? We even provided a photo. So clearly you are just being difficult.
This makes Costco look more attractive.
Ralph's is not "fresh for everyone" as…
Ralph's is not "fresh for everyone" as their ads state but I will get to that later. Long-time, frequent customer but not any more. Horrible in-store experience in which there was nobody at the meat counter and another customer comes in as I am looking for the employees who are supposed to be there. They finally show up and take another customer ahead of me. I let the person go, but she has three orders and since I was in a rush I finally said I was next in line and can you please take care of my small order so I can go - refrigerated and frozen items are in my shopping bag. The customer I let in front of me makes some nasty comment which is not rebuked by the employees, so I said something back and the situation gets a bit testy. I get the manager on duty, Claudia (a real "winner") who I believe retaliated against me for a previous complaint against the store (San Diego, California - G Street) by saying "I know who you are and I am not going to do anything." Who am I? A highly educated and accomplished person who would be three levels above you in the organization. I called corporate, complained about the situation and that they need a bell at all counters and a ticket-number dispenser, giving this backwards store an intelligent solution(s) to this issue. They thanked me, said they will take care of the situation and have the District Manager contact me, which he does.
He seems like a nice guy who recognizes there are problems in this store, says "give me two weeks" to get back to me, and then does not even several months later now after I follow-up with the company a couple of times (parent company, Kroger in Ohio). Although I got comped for the incredibly unprofessional and rude behavior by the incompetent employees there, I was disappointed in no callback from the DM - I suspect this is because he realized he is also responsible for these buffoons and they have also made him look bad (wondering if he is even still with the company).
There was also another issue in which the expiration date of a product in the meat section was not put on by the employees, as the manufacturer instructed. I alerted the manufacturer who thanked me and took care of the situation. More incompetence and possibly danger. Ralph's also raises its prices and has f-a-k-e "Sale" signs after jacking up the price and then dealing it back only a little bit, still costing a lot more than what the price was previously. Manufacturers are also putting less in the packages, so check the net weight. You might occasionally see a sign on the package stating "20% more" but you will never see what they are now doing, putting 20% LESS in the packages. Tropicana orange juice now has 46 ounces in it instead of the 64 ounces previously. Are they or Ralph's/Kroger lowering the price? See for yourself. I have also found RALPH'S products NOT FRESH, and sold closer to the expiration dates than before - possibly because their products don't sell at the ridiculously inflated prices and they still don't lower them in general.
Avoid Ralph's. Their "solution" is to thank the customer, maybe comp the person and hope you go away without resolving the issue.
Now Kroger is merging with Albertson's (to cover up the huge quarterly financial loss last year -?) and selling off dozens of stores combined as you can read about online. This does not look good to me. Albertson's charges exorbitant prices in my opinion, so this is like two F students marrying. They also try to trick you so be very, very careful, especially at Ralph's. RALPH'S: NOT FRESH FOR EVERYONE, and also a bad company. Ralph's practices and stupidity make me want to just "ralph" which is slang for vomit (look that one up, too).
The girl in the Deli section has an…
The girl in the Deli section has an attitude about me personally it seems. If looks could kill, I would be dead already. I don't know what I did to get on her bad side but she just doesn't like me, I guess.
I usually shop at Vons or Trader Joes.
I usually shop at Vons or Trader Joes.
Recently moved to Castaic and came for grocery shopping to Ralph.
It was just awful. A small bag of cherries for $19!! When ít wais advertised at 2.49/lb.
But in order to get that I had to dawnload the App then get coupan online and spend over 30 min in order to buy cherries!!!!
Why??
It was just awful. They Wasted so much of my time.
Assault and Battery at Ralphs
Ralphs (Kroger Companies) is unresponsive to my Claims of Assault and Battery at Store #292 (DOI 3/30.24)/ Not only was I assaulted by a 20 year-old Security Guard (nameless) who did not want to be accountable for his actions....
Take a tour of the meat department, I dare you.
There was absolutely nothing to like at Ralph's today. I shopped at two stores today, Starter Bros and Ralph's. Neither were up to par. As a remodel professional of grocery stores, I see a lot of what really goes on behind the scenes. It's not for the public to see because shopping would cease if they did. I walked out of both stores in disgust and disbelief. The highest freaking prices ever and the quality and protection of your food comes second. If your a customer of these stores, or any grocery store, ask for a tour. I'm sure you'd be denied. And it's not due to liability. It's due to the fact the truth would be known.
Ralph’s is ripping off customers
Where do you go grocery shopping? I went to Ralph’s the other day and saw a red pepper for 79 cents but when I went to the cash register, it’s $1.79 and they said I can use an App on my cell phone to reduce the price by $1 dollar. I already have a phone # registered with Ralph’s for discounts but they said it won’t work. So, I am sick and tired of going there and having have to use so many ways (phone# and an app) to buy groceries. 79 cents a red pepper is not cheap and I had to jump through hoops to get that price. It I need an App for each place I shop, I’ll need 200 Apps cluttering my cell phone. So ridiculous of Ralph’s, no one has time to play their games. Going somewhere else from now on.

There is a sex offender that works in the produce department with a terrible haircut and even worse customer service skills He reeks of marijuana and alcohol even at 9 in the morning. He stares at my 11 year old son with this dazed look in his eyes and it gives me the creeps. And it's not just my son he looks at. His name is Brad. Beware of Brad in the produce department at the Goldenwest location in Huntington Beach
Store 81
Store 81
Izzy who works in the Produce section takes terrific care of the vegetables, which are always fresh. I go out of my way to shop at this store because of Izzy.
But the self check-out is terrible. Stop making customers pay to check out their own food and bring back the checkers. Ralphs is contributing to killing the economy.
I'm a long time customer by Ralphs
