Pattinson Auction 

The process of bringing my property to auction has been really straightforward. I received a good price on the property and was supported all the way through by Oliver Hall. He was helpful and gave me good advice along with everyone I worked with in the Stockton branch of Pattinson. A wonderful team! I got an accurate property valuation, (even though I wanted more) the team advised me well and i always appreciate accurate advice. Ginormous, Elizabeth and Natalie were fantastic. I bought my property with pattinsons, managed it and sold it through them as well. Highly recommend them.

Seemed to be not very transparent in their dealings with us, with a whiff of not being wholly open and honest. Staff appeared to endeavour to mislead and to string things along, possibly for the sake of their commission. Salesman (presumably) called Bobby extremely disengenuous. Would definitely advise a degree of caution when dealing with this company (like all companies new to you).

The team at Pattinson Auction have been great, the onboarding and customer service is excellent, Sarah and Ryan spent a lot of time with my team and have delivered some exciting results so far.

Very questionable auctions and are not transparent at all, our action had a bid bigger than ours at the last minute, and then I watched them extend the clock for 30 more minutes upping the bid after 1pm the end of the auction if we had the top bid and they extended it 30 minutes after I would be pissed, that is not "You win at the hammer drop" as they claim. We locked our bank account after as there is no telling what they might do if that is how they operate, some fee for losing an auction I'm sure.

Excellent service by Caitlin kept us informed every step of the way through the auction process. She got us the best price possible higher than we had expected. Well done Caitlin and thanks.

Having been with Pattinson Auctions since the beginning of April, I decided to withdraw the sale of my land due to their inefficiency in marketing the sale of my land.

Even though I acknowledged and accepted the notice period on my 28 day contract. Pattinson Auctions have failed in my legal right to have all marketing of my property removed from their advertising portals with immediate effect.

The staff at Pattinsons Auctions are clearly not up to speed with a clients legal entitlements. Be aware of this if you are considering withdrawing the sale of your property from their system.

UPDATE: Pattinson Auctions have since honoured my request and removed all marketing on my property from their advertising portals. However, this was not straight forward, and a lot of effort was required in order to get them (Pattinson Auctions) to comply.

What an absolute con!!
Absolutely shocking customer service, falsifying viewing numbers, hidden clauses and abortive costs.
The starting bid listed on Pattinsons website was also termed the "guide price" on Rightmove, this misleads potential buyers into thinking this could be an achievable low purchase price and the reserve price isn't mentioned.
As a result my property "guide price" was £40k lower than the agreed reserve price....and just as I predicted, potential buyers viewed under the impression they would bag a massive bargain. Potential buyers who viewed were not vetted first to make sure they were in a proceedable position with finances in place and often had no insight into the auction process or what to expect or how to bid.
I have cancelled the contract and withdrawn my property from the auction-but the damage has already been done!!
Something should be done about this company.

I have made a very expensive mistake testing the water with Pattinsons modern method of auction- a mistake I deeply regret!

Easy process from start to finish. Staff kept me informed throughout the auction, and were readily available for any questions or concerns I had.
If I had another property to sell I'd use this company in a heartbeat. Highly recommend
