Used this app quite a lot in various countries. While it does direct you to the places that accept campers, some of the information can be incorrect.
Also, currently in Spain and the areas are supposedly for campers to use the villages and towns where they staying, thereby assisting the local economy, however, said villages and towns are somewhat deserted, not just at siesta times but all the time! And if you do come across a bar/cafe that is open, that’s does not mean you won’t be turned away. My advice would be go to these places and enjoy them, but don’t expect an effusive welcome from the locals.

Like many others I paid for the app but they won't activate it so I have completely wasted my money. They ask for proof of payment, then ignore the email with proof. It's effectively a scam operation and needs to be stopped.Do not pay.

Fantastic app, community led so it's vital to read reviews before going to the site. We just wildcamped across northern Scotland and the outer Hebrides, and we discovered some lovely spots. Thank you to everyone who has contributed to the app, to help us enjoy Scotland. As ever, with all sites, leave only footprints. Sadly between Glencoe and Glasgow, I can see why locals would despise wildcampers...

Affecting wildlife and ecosystems, reported this to park4night, Dolphins no longer visit a specific bay in Wales since campervans moving in a park up and seen dumping toilet cassette into the ocean, I've reported twice to get the park up removed to Park4Night to be completely ignored.
Park4Night are 100% responsible for what happening to special areas and even protected areas. Listen to when people report problems and take action and remove the park up locations. Your irresponsible and need closing down.

Used to be a really good an app for vanlife type stuff had a decent community adding realistic places to stop and sleep. Places that weren’t exactly kosher shall we say places that fell into the grey area of nobody said you can’t do park so behave and don’t be a nuisance and chances are you will be fine. Now the app has removed hundreds of places and stops you from adding lots of places that van lifers have been using to get a quiet safe sleep for years not bothering anybody. It’s now difficult to find a decent spot to park overnight on the app because it’s full of places that you can’t stay overnight at, what is the point of suggesting a parking spot that says no overnight parking.

I used this app back in 2016-2017 while travelling Europe for 10 months in our motorhome and it was good. Am off again now in 2025 for 3 months. Now that it is a 'paid' 'offline' version decided to do that. BIG MISTAKE! IT DOES NOT WORK OFFLINE. Tried to contact them many times and they do not respond. They take the money only. Have to now use data to use it. It is an antiquated app (and I am 60!) Recommend downloading it but DO NOT PAY FOR IT!.

I cannot book anywhere nor is there anyone to contact.
The app is full of dayparking laybys (nothing to do with Park4Night) including ones with awful reviews.
Half the places I know of to park legally overnight are not even listed.
I regret paying for the app.

Charged me twice for membership, refusing to refund even one payment.
On the recommendation of many users I registered and then paid membership of Park4night via my iPhone. So far, so good.
I then attempted to enter the site from my desktop. Same account ((used ID, e-mail, password) but it wouldn't let me in unless I paid, again. So, assuming that the iPhone (Apple acct) payment hadn't worked and gone through, I paid with my card.
Checked payments this morning, both had gone through, payment was demanded by Park4night, a second time, otherwise I'd have been denied access. Contacting Park4night about this, sending proof, they refused to refund, whilst acknowledging that their system had made me pay twice and told me that I could only get a refund from Apple, not them. Apparently I can only get a refund if I purchase a subscription through Google Pay or directly from their website. Strangely, given this reply, I had purchased one of the subscriptions via their website so they are refusing (or ignoring?) that payment.
Legally, my contract is with them - Park4night - NOT Apple, so this will go further but on my initial experience with this 'organisation' I wouldn't trust them with anything so when I get both payments refunded - not going to return.......

Best app for finding a camping spot and I use it all the time and since its inception. Would be lost without it! Just a pity that some of the people using it are not real "campers" but post sites where they should not stop as illegal, or use cemetery parking or residential areas where a little respect would be appreciated I am sure by locals.

An easy-to-use app thanks to which I found many interesting places to stop with my campervan. Lots of feedback from other users makes it easy to choose the right place

Park4night is a great concept- however, DO NOT use the paid park4night+
I’m not the only van camper who has paid for this and cannot log in ever! I cannot even get a response from the help
The spots are only as good as the last review and are not updated otherwise
In short- use the free service with ads and check out the location before you stay but don’t pay for anything from them

I love the app in summer, but in winter (in Europe / France) it is useless. Most campings are closed, information is not accurate, there is no filter on opening times. Disappointing :(
I hope to find an app that works also in winter!

Absolute gem. I use the app for more then 5 years, not a single disappointment.

Doesn't help when the app crashes conveniently 3 days into a euro trip same happened when I did the west coast of Ireland 2023 I use the the app to find the free places but also when I need a campsite to refresh the water etc poor show

unuseable App, persistent display of „Error“ w/o further indication of what or why - For a full week now. Occurs with otherwise good connection too. Just does not work in a useable way. Iphone 12 pro plus all updated.

Very good, fast and simple application as well as precision as well.

No activation email available to view offline content.
No way to try and send again and no answer from helpline email.

This makes our lives simple when traveling! Finding parking with a van can be very stressful and park4night is always a lightsaber. People tend to say the size of the car parks and surroundings which is very helpful for a big van. You do have limited access if you don’t have a membership, but I dont and i have never struggled to find a stay for the night anyway.
