good first impression
first impression of using onidel (less than a month), very good VM performance against the price of the digital-full-of-saltwater-place.
Best Service for onidel
Onidel Cloud's High Quality Network
Onidel Cloud's network quality in Singapore is truly impressive. With premium upstream providers like SG.GS (AS24482) and Host Universal (AS136557), they have a clear advantage over competitors that only use NTT Transit in Singapore. The robust computing power provided by the AMD EPYC platform, along with their fully in-house developed control panel, makes me feel they are a trustworthy cloud service provider.
Misleading "hourly" billing despite good value
Good value for the price, but the “hourly” billing is a bit misleading. Shutting down the instance doesn’t reduce the cost, you’re charged the same as when it’s running, so the “hourly” label feels pointless. It’d be much better if billing were based on actual resource usage.

A Year with Onidel: Amazing Performance & Uptime!
For the past year, I have been using Onidel and I’m very happy with the service — both the performance and uptime are amazing.

Great hosting service running out of Australia. Been using them for around a year and they’ve been super rock solid. VPS are stable and perform very well. Support is also very responsive.
What sets them apart is their amazing control panel for managing/configuring the service and the flexibility this affords. Feels like a remarkably premium service with enterprise capabilities at a very fair price.
Definitely recommend giving them a go. Their unique tools sets them apart from most other providers.

Great EPYC NVMe performance & fast provisioning
I’ve been an Onidel customer since October 2024 (Australia node) and just ordered their Singapore 2 vCPU / 4 GB / 40 GB NVMe VPS (2 TB @ 1 Gbps). I use Onidel primarily for personal web hosting. For the money; the server performance is excellent.
YABs Benchmarks (run Aug 9, 2025)
• Disk (fio, mixed R/W 50/50): ~383 MB/s on 4K reads/writes (~95.8k IOPS) and ~1.09–1.10 GB/s on larger blocks. Total mixed throughput tops ~2.1–2.2 GB/s on larger-block tests.
• Network: very good regional performance: tests to the local SG node hit ~1.06 Gbits/sec send / 1.02 Gbits/sec recv (very low ping ~1 ms). International tests show solid results across Europe, US and LATAM (many links in the several hundred Mbps range up to ~800+ Mbps).
•CPU (Geekbench 6): Single-core 1390, Multi-core 2535 (consistent with a 2-vCPU Milan slice).
These numbers match my experience on the Australia node — disk I/O responsiveness is noticeably better than other budget providers I’ve used.
What I like and why I recommend Onidel:
• Outstanding NVMe disk performance for the price; real-world improvement on disk-bound tasks and web hosting.
• Instant/automated provisioning; the instance gets live immediately after payment; OS installs/reinstalls are quick and easy.
• Good value for typical website use; the combination of EPYC CPU + NVMe at this price point is hard to beat.
Cons / Suggestions to Onidel:
• Bandwidth & overage cost; the 2 vCPU plan comes with 2 TB transfer (enough for most website traffic). If you need more, overage is $7 USD per additional 1 TB, which I find expensive compared with some competitors. Plan for this if you expect higher egress.
• Port speed & overage; the current host ports are 1 Gbps (shared/contended). For most websites this is fine, but if you need guaranteed multi-Gbps from a single VM, this is not the right fit. I’d like to see cheaper overage options or a higher-tier with 10 Gbps host ports for heavy network users.
Bottom line:
Excellent choice for budget-conscious web hosting where disk performance and fast provisioning matter. I’ll keep my servers with Onidel and recommend them for websites and other disk-sensitive workloads; just be mindful of the 1 Gbps shared port and the $7/1TB overage if you expect heavy transfer volumes.

Reliable VPS choice for productioin usage
I've been using a KVM-based VPS from Onidel VPS located in Singapore since March, and I’ve been thoroughly impressed with the experience.
Despite their extremely competitive pricing compared to many well-known providers, the quality of service has never felt “cheap.” In fact, the server has been rock-solid—no unexpected downtime, no noticeable performance degradation over the past few months. It’s clear they don’t cut corners.
What really stood out to me is their proactive approach to improving network connectivity. Onidel VPS has been actively integrating with more upstream providers to enhance global routing and performance, which is a rare level of attention among budget providers.
Customer support has also been excellent. Even though the service is “unmanaged,” I’ve never felt like my inquiries were deprioritized or ignored. Their responses have been helpful and timely.
Overall, I’m very satisfied with Onidel VPS and plan to continue using their services. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a reliable, affordable, and professionally managed VPS solution.

Super stable and feature-packed – a great experience
I've been using Onidel Cloud since November 2024, and my experience up to July 2025 has been fantastic. One standout aspect is the incredible stability—I've tracked their SLA performance myself, and they've consistently delivered around 99.9904% uptime, giving me peace of mind knowing my services are always online.
Their management panel is another highlight: it's feature-rich yet incredibly user-friendly. The multilingual support is a thoughtful addition, especially helpful for teams working across different regions or languages. Navigating the panel and setting things up feels intuitive and effortless.
Onidel also offers a shared bandwidth pool across their global regions (Asia-Pacific, Europe, and North America), which seems extremely practical. Although currently, I'm using just one location, I look forward to leveraging this feature when expanding to other regions in the future.
Deploying custom ISO images was quick and hassle-free. I greatly appreciated the flexibility this provided, as it allowed me to configure servers precisely as needed without any unnecessary limitations.
The availability of both Object Storage and Block Storage further enhances Onidel’s versatility, making it easy to store backups and scale storage as required. Additionally, their homepage is very organized, and the knowledge base is clear and helpful whenever I had questions.
Regarding VPS performance, it's simply excellent. The servers are powered by robust hardware, including fast NVMe storage, and I've never experienced slowdowns or performance drops, even during resource-intensive tasks.
Overall, Onidel Cloud has thoroughly impressed me with their reliability, ease of use, and rich feature set. I'm excited about their future expansions and hope they'll soon introduce additional locations like Hong Kong, Japan, or the US West. I'll definitely purchase servers in these new locations once they're available. Highly recommended!

Excellent inital support on sales enquiry, then found the firewall very simple to use. I also find the shaped data is excellent. Ultimately i doubt i will ever use my data limit - but super good to avoid excess bills if hacked or something.
