MOI are brilliant tour organisers. As was our previous experience in India, our tour of Sri Lanka was professionally managed with a very interesting and educated guide who looked after us superbly. Strongly recommended.

We have visited India many times and always include a wildlife part to each trip. The Asiatic Lions were next on my "tick" list so when we visited the travel show in London and came across DK, we knew this was the trip for us especially as the dates DK had already lined up fitted in nicely with our forthcoming trip. We don't usually travel in a "group" preferring to do special itineraries tailor made but what a group! They had all travelled with DK and MOI before but they made us feel so welcome - thank-you. We saw some of the most amazing wildlife including our Asiatic Lions, Indian Wolves, Blackbuck, the Wild Ass, so many species of birds, etc, etc, with very friendly and informative guides. Our driver and his helper were incredible and were with us the entire trip. The hotels that were used were very good and each perfectly sited for our next days itinerary. DK was always on the ball and made sure each of us received personal one-to-one time and he looked after any special requests we had (meat comes to mind !!!!) Overall, a very memorable and exciting trip - so much so, that we have booked another trip with DK and MOI this coming December.

We have now been to India three times with MOI. Our first as part of an escorted (by DK) trip which in the event involved a rapid exit out of the country due to Covid. Our second, this time on our own, involved family research with visits to Meerut and Shimla, a wonderful stay at Pench in a Tree House and then the Golden Triangle. Our last visit was an escorted (by DK) trip to Gujarat in 2024. Absolutely amazing slightly off the tourist track it was quite unique and utterly memorable. We will be coming back to India and would have no hesitation in using Team MOI as I know everything will be organised to perfection and we will feel safe and in good hands.

After meeting DK at a travel fair, there was no question about whether we would book with Mysteries of India or not, it was simply a matter of when.

Every aspect of our trip was looked after from airport pick ups and drop offs, hotel check ins, internal transfers and drivers, even holding excess luggage for us whilst we flew to other cities so we didn't have to pay extra for excess luggage with the airlines.

We started arranging this trip with relatively little notice as our travels plans drastically changed, but we were able to get exactly the trip we wanted: city tours, great food, safari, relaxation, and authentic experiences learning about Indian craft by artisans.

It was an absolute pleasure travelling in India on this trip organised by Mysteries of India, I will certainly be back for more adventures.

We had a lovely trip to India organised by Mysteries of India . We first met DK at the Olympia travel fair and 18 months later we were there. We had a problem before we even left with a passport number on the Indian visa..so couldn’t travel but Mukesh was very supportive and managed to get our flight moved to 2 days later.
We had been to India several times before so wanted to go to different places and also do a safari.
The staff put us on a watsap group with them which was great and reassuring…and they were always on hand to help us…which we did use several times!
We visited Kolkata, Varanasi, Lucknow ,Delhi Sariska and Shimla.
It was a fabulous trip to mark my husbands retirement!

After meeting DK at a Travel Show, we engaged MOI to arrange a bespoke tour for our family. We were not disappointed - an amazing itinerary, superb hotels, wonderful wildlife (including leopard, elephant and tigers)- and above all, a very capable and safe driver. We also appreciated the continual check-ins from Shailendra during our trip.

The brief was we wanted to see tigers and leopards, which we did , and had some amazing sightings . Also all of the other wildlife we saw during our safari’s was fabulous…… esp Wild Dogs on our walking safari whilst sitting on rocks in the middle of the river having a packed breakfast …… a special treat .
The whole trip ran like clockwork, with representatives and drivers that made our transfers and journeys so easy , and all lovely people who looked after us so well . We can’t thank you all enough for your organisation from start to finish, it was first class, and so appreciated by us both . Thank you once again . John and Chris 🙏

My wife and I recently completed our 3rd trip in 2 years with MOI. Our first being a 5 week private tour, our 2nd being part of an excellent small group tour taking in 3 fantastic tiger parks and a few days extension in Mumbai.
For our last trip however, we wanted hotels and transport only. We were once again extremely happy with the accommodation options offered. MOI arranged all of our accommodation transfers and several internal flights.
We have no hesitation in recommending the extremely helpful and knowledgeable team at MOI to anyone looking to use a local based company for a trip to India and beyond. My husband and I met DK Mok by chance at the Destinations Show at Olympia. As a result we planned a holiday to Northern India for 3 weeks in November 2023. Everything was perfect, drivers, guides and absolutely amazing hotels. Our photo was taken on arrival in Delhi so that we were recognised easily by all our guides when we arrived at different destinations and we had a What’s App link to Atul who checked on us regularly.
We were so impressed that we booked a further 3 weeks to Southern India in November 2024, which was equally wonderful. We had the same driver, Murali, for 19 days who included extra sites along our journeys that he thought we might appreciate.
We are currently looking to book a further 3 weeks with the Company for November 2025. Their service has been outstanding and I have absolutely no hesitation recommending this company. Atul has been superb and has been happy to accommodate our frequently changing wishes during the planning of the holidays and has given us good advice too.

We’ve just returned from an incredible three-week journey through India, and we couldn’t be more grateful to Mukesh and the entire team at Mysteries of India (MOI) for organizing the perfect trip. From the moment we decided to revisit India, the MOI team was there every step of the way, crafting an itinerary that perfectly suited our needs and interests.

One of the standout features of our experience was the WhatsApp group that was set up before we even left. It was such a convenience knowing that we were always just a call or message away from the team. Even when I occasionally forgot about the 5 ½ hour time difference (and reached out in the middle of the night UK time), we always received prompt responses. This level of service truly went above and beyond our expectations.

A special mention goes to our driver, Hariprasad, who was with us throughout the entire trip. He was consistently punctual, incredibly helpful, and made for a wonderful companion on our three-week road trip. His professionalism and warm personality made a real difference in our experience.

All in all, Mysteries of India exceeded every expectation and delivered an unforgettable tour of Southern India. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Huge thanks to Team MOI for making this such a memorable trip!

Have just been on a 2 week trip to India with Mysteries of India who we discovered at the Destinations show in London. I was very specific about where I wanted to go and they were great at putting together an itinerary including the hotels that I had chosen to stay at. Our driver - Hukum - was with us the whole time and was so helpful with advice and answering all our questions. All the guides were extremely knowledgeable. Can't think of a single negative thing. I will definitely we using them for our next trip to India.

The team carefully planned my trip and checked in regularly whilst I was traveling there attention to the details ensured my experiences in Nepal were truly memorable.

We traveled to Kerala with Mysteries of India. We had a great experience. Everything about the holiday was enjoyable. The hotels they chose were excellent, each with its own unique character. We particularly enjoyed the itinerary which included a variety of activities and nature experiences. The team were great support, and there if we needed them. They kept in touch throughout. I strongly recommend this company.

From the off when we met them at the Destinations show at Manchester Central MOI were terrific. We worked with them to develop our itinerary. They booked the best value flights and integrated the package. They were brilliant at dealing with changes needed before departure such as the airline changing the flights and once we were on the tour such as needing to move hotels. Fastidiously polite and with exceptional attention to detail. They have even arranged an excursion for us on our current cruise trip when we reach Cochin.

The guides, drivers & administration staff were excellent. From the moment we arrived in Delhi, we were met by the wonderful Subham who informed us of all the details of the trip. He set up a WhatsApp group to include us three travellers and the tour company administration team headed by Mukesh who worked tirelessly to ensure we had a most memorable and enjoyable experience. When a domestic flight was cancelled by Indigo Airlines, the team worked hard to ensure we connect with an alternate flight from a different airport. To facilitate this they arranged an additional driver for us. Whatever our needs were over the two week trip, they facilitated us. We highly recommend this tour company, have already recommended them & would unequivocally use them again.

Following my first trip to India 5 years ago (on a motorcycling trip), I had vainly tried to persuade my wife to go there with me. Within 5 minutes of talking to her (at the Destinations travel show), DK had persuaded her to come on a tiger safari with MoI! The hectic schedule usually included a driver, spotter & a naturalist so we were well set up for wildlife encounters (never guaranteed). The thrill of seeing our first tiger in the wild on a night safari will live in our minds for the rest of our lives. Several more were to follow plus leopards, sloth bears, jackals & many birds. The lodges, food & staff were all excellent & I would have no hesitation in recommending Mysteries of India to anyone contemplating a wildlife holiday in India for the first time or indeed any time. The experience was amazing the safaris fulfilled all my expectations and more. The staff from drivers to guides, were all friendly and extremely helpful. I will be travelling with this company in the future.
