I’ve been subscribed as a free member with JFC for a number of years, but never used any of their highlighted flights. Having recently retired and planning flights further afield, I subscribed to the £1 for 1 month trial to see what additional offers were included in a subscription. Sadly nothing more, above free content, was received so I cancelled the subscription within the 1 month period. As such I was shocked when I received my bank statement with £48 debited to JFC for an annual subscription. I immediately cancelled that subscription online then contacted JFC to request a refund as I had already terminated my subscription during the trial period, so was not liable to pay anything. They refused saying I was outside a 14 day period, a period that applies only to a standard subscription, which I had no longer authorised having already cancelled the trial subscription. They asked for proof of cancellation, which I don’t have as I didn’t take images of the cancellation. They suggested that an email confirming cancellation may have gone straight to my spam bin, so that would have already disappeared into the ether. With their refusal to refund, I requested escalation to the CEO/ or ombudsman. They have refused to supply details of either, which may be a breach of trading laws as they should have a policy/process available for customer complaints. Feedback here could have been so much better had communications with JFC been less frustrating to deal with and more so if their processes actually worked.
why would you already take my money for subscriptions even before I book any flight with you?
it's waaaaaay too limited and I don't give my money for randomness that i might use once in my life. so No, not recommended 🤷🏼
Although they have few premium and club class offers as opposed to economy flight offers, they do provide a very good service advising of cheap deals

they are the best for not only flight deals but insider travel intel! booked incredible deals with them like Miami over Xmas for ```£350 return s few yrs ago and this yr Bangkok flights over Xmas for £500 plus they kindly gave me some great advice and information on thailand and vietman when i emailed them!

It’s not finished yet so it could be a better or worse score will keep trust pilot informed. But they have persevered with my issue so hopefully sort it out soon UPDATE. I’ve updated my experience everything has been sorted out now a great effort from jacks flight club. They never gave in kept me in touch and finally resolved my problem. I really enjoy the emails I recieve but searching for flights that are and have recently been on offer by location would be better. In addition knowing more options for deals with prem econ or business for long haul flights as very centred on economy.

I noticed a charge of £48 from my credit card that I never intended to make. Never got money back as nog part of ombudsman. Seems pure dodgy business to trick people everyday. His reviews say how customers get cheated every day with the same conman tactic! Please stay away & destroy his robbery business.
I got a very fast response to my request & positive action was taken. Would highly recommend you ask them anything.

I am very disappointed with my experience with Jack’s Flight Club.
I never received any value from their service, and yet they insisted on keeping my money because of their refund “policy.” To me, this feels like a business model that depends more on catching people out than on keeping customers satisfied.
I noticed a charge of €48 from my bank account that I never intended to make, and the company name on my bank statement was “Camden”, which gave me no clue it was Jacks flight club.... I actually cancelled my creditcard to prevent further payments (!) causing even more hassle in my daily life.
I never used any of their services, and despite reaching out as soon as I found out about the payment, I was refused a refund.
Jack has no interest what so ever in happy customers - only in their money.
Update, October 3rd 2025: I've seen your reply below, and wanted to comment on that:
I did in fact reach out to your support team after discovering the charge — but was still refused a refund. I understand you have a policy, but please dont use it just to hold on to unhappy customers money. This doesn’t feel fair or customer-friendly.
I never used the service, never intended to renew, and would have gladly cancelled had I known.
I appreciate your response, but I hope you review your refund process — not just cite policy.
