Warning!!! Do not order from this company. The website has a way of tricking you into placing an order. I selected some items to review and somehow it went through as a purchase order. I immediately sent them a email to cancel and it was never canceled. I sent maybe a dozen emails to cancel to no avail. I was charged $184.

iBrave hosting has disappointed me

iBrave hosting has disappointed me. Initially, they promised lifetime hosting, which was a major reason I chose their service. However, they recently announced they are shutting down lifetime hosting and are now only offering monthly hosting plans. This feels misleading and unprofessional. I expected them to honor their original commitment, but instead, they’ve changed the terms completely. I cannot recommend them anymore.

Same as all the others

Same as all the others. Bought lifetime package. Got unprompted mail from i20. ibrave never responded to requests for confirmation of cessation of services. looking into class action suit to the directors of the company as this scenario feels like legitimate fraud and false advertising if they knew beforehand that the businesscase wasn't viable beyond X years.

Aviod iBrave -

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I felt compelled to share my experience with this company. They sold me an unlimited lifetime package that lasted only about a year before they decided to shut down. Just a few days ago, I received an email stating they were closing and urging customers to switch to 20i, which charges an exorbitant amount that we simply cannot afford. Fortunately, I found cP Cloud Hosting and managed to migrate to them just in time. If I had been waiting for iBrave to respond, I would have faced serious issues and likely lost all my files.

Absolute scam

Absolute scam. Took my money for a lifetime plan and have run away with it after less than a year. Completely unreachable. Avoid.

Advise for other iBrave customers: contact 20i.com who can help retrieve your domains and websites as iBrave seem to just be selling their hosting. 20i.com were really helpful to get my website back.

Ibrave is shutting down but for the…

Ibrave is shutting down but for the price I initially paid and the like 3 years being hosted for free. Its sad but it is what it is... Though they would say it is a time based service if they did not have the plans for actually staying on for long. It is not November yet and the ibrave website is also not functional with errors on the website and inability to access website files.

This company is a scam

This company is a scam. At first it was promised for a lifetime, now they are shutting down. they are not even refunding money or credit.
They want us to go to 20i which is their sister company. now they say they are offering 3 month of free service. however upon checking that is provided to every new user.

The negative reviews here are a bit unfair

I think the negative reviews here are unfair. iBrave launched with an unlimited offer for $99 which I was lucky enough to sign up to a couple of years ago. Unfortunately the deal turned out to be too good to be viable (it was based on a fractional unlimited package from 20i). Now they are shutting down so the party is over so I'll have to look elsewhere. But in the meantime, I've saved over a thousand dollars vs hosting anywhere else. Even if you just signed up a month ago, you have free hosting to November which works out at $15 for unlimited sites which is still a good deal. At GoDaddy etc you'd be paying that for just one site!
Now the option is to transfer your account to 20i, who supplied the service to iBrave. Their rates are not as good but still pretty competitive. The transfer is painless- literally a few clicks so those complaining about "scrambling about" are exaggerating. You have till NOVEMBER to sort things out. 20i will support you till then and give you 3 months of free hosting which is decent enough.
Last thing I'll say is up until now, the performance and reliability of my (pretty low traffic WordPress) sites has been great. Availability well above 99.9%. No weird DNS restrictions, or other limitations or gotchas. No spurious extra costs for standard features (I'm looking at you Godaddy). I guess that's why they are out of business.
So- so long iBrave. But thanks for all the fish.

Experienced the same thing as the many people writing negative reviews on here. I bought lifetime hosting just to have the company send out a message saying that is closing. Now left scrambling to set up server elsewhere and keep sites running.

Feels very much like a scam.

I purchased lifetime hosting 3 months ago. And guess what, now they are going to close the company. They are crooks, it's their way of ripping people off. And i20 company, they are themselves. 100% scam.

Shutting down in November

They recently sent out an official notice that they are shutting down in November "due to unforeseen personal circumstances", which makes me think it's just one or two people (how could a real company be shut down by personal circumstances?). There are no announcements on their website, and it appears they are still willing to take people's money for their "unlimited" hosting packages, which is extremely unethical. If you were wondering how single payment, unlimited hosting would be sustainable, I guess the answer is that it's not and I was a fool to think that it was (just like the lifetime cloud backup plan I bought on StackSocial that eventually just evaporated). If the deal seems too good to be true compared to market rates, it probably is and ibrave is a case study in that.

No service. Avoid.

I purchased an unlimited package a few years ago and have encountered numerous issues since then.

In the past year, customer service has been non-existent; despite this, automatic charges continue to be withdrawn from my account. Thankfully, PayPal has facilitated the recovery of some funds.

Whenever I submit a support ticket, shortly after it switches to “waiting customer reply” before closing without any input from iBrave’s customer service team.

Access to websites and control panels is no longer available, and, most concerningly, there have been no invoices issued for payments made since 2022. This lack of transparency leads me to suspect potential insolvency.

I strongly advise to avoid this service. TERRIBLE. Going to loose a domain I had since 20 years...
