Fast delivery!

I ordered a Deco X55 (AX3000) Mesh Wi-Fi 6 Router on a Tuesday and the produce was delivered interstate in 3 days. Great service!

Do not purchase from this company.

Brought a 2 in 1 touch screen laptop it arrived with a crack right across the screen rendering the touch screen function useless, have been trying to sort this out for a month now, I contacted them straight away, returned it straight away, their customer service is so bad the take 3-5 days to reply to every email, they never answer the phones they are not very helpful at all. My refund was approved a week ago, but here I am still waiting.

Good experience buying refurbished Mini PC

I had an extremely good experience purchasing a refurbished mini PC.
The original model that I ordered was out of stock, so they upgraded me to a significantly better model free of charge!
The condition of the mini PC on arrival is also extremely good, and it came exactly as specified.
I'm very satisfied and would certainly buy from Harris Technology again in the future.

Took close to a month for the item to…

Took close to a month for the item to arrive.

The unit was faulty, it has been gone for close to 2 months.

Terrible service.

Do not buy unless you do not need the item and prefer it just to be in transit it's whole life

The cheapest place to buy monitors

On Monday 18th September 2023 I purchased this on eBay for $59.90 so my Mum can use it with the Dell OptiPlex 9020 SFF that I built her. Also I paid for Express Post but it came on Wednesday 20th September 2023 instead of Tuesday 19th September 2023 due to being sorted incorrectly.

Warranty issues: "Refurbished like new" Laptop

By far the worst online purchase experience I ever had!
Bought "Refurbished like new" Laptop. Battery did not last anywhere near advertised 10 hours, typically about half or less. Unit overheated and slowed down on moderate workloads with roaring fan. Screen badly discoloured, patchy. Unit not as described, and not fit for purpose, looks like not refurbished at all. It was just outside eBay money back 30 day window when all this was discovered.
Harris Technology refuse to communicate directly if you buy off eBay, they say you have to go through eBay. eBay will not permit sending contact information for any purpose, so it's then an impossible endless loop to send pickup address for item.
Had to jump through these endless loops over weeks to get unit sent back. They repeatedly ask for information they already have. They refuse to escalate to a senior staff member, so you're stuck with lowly qualified customer service who will do nothing but send you in circles.
Unit eventually came back after weeks more, without screen even looked at, still discoloured, patchy.
After months this is still not resolved. Still in warranty.
If you buy "refurbished" from Harris Technology, or anything else that might fail, your experience will likely be the same. Don't be tempted just because items may appear cheap. Consider whether a "refurbished" laptop may have been a warranty return from someone else and whether it might have then been remarketed without being repaired.
Now, I'm stuck with a real lemon. I will never buy another refurbished item. I will never again buy from Harris Technology even though they have many items I would otherwise buy, because my experience with them has been an impossible nightmare.

Appalling service from Harris…

Appalling service from Harris Technology
Harris Technology has provided the worst online shopping experience I have ever encountered. 17 days ago I ordered product online. The website interface for a change of address with my order was cumbersome and, in the end, did not work.
Following the order I received an "order request" email showing incorrect address details.
Correction sent by email.
Two days later, payment was deducted from my bank account. Then nothing.
Phone inquiry to customer service on day 10. They promised to call back with an update but that did not happen.
Phone call to customer service on day 11. I was informed the delivery address was now updated and delivery details would follow. Nothing received.
Further email to customer service on day 16 not answered.
Day 17 and HT customer support number rings out unanswered over several hours. One successful contact did not elicit any useful information, just another promise to call back. After multiple attempts, I finally, after dozens of call attempts, I made contact with customer service. Still no information on when delivery could be expected. Order cancelled and funds to be refunded.
What is a reasonable time to wait for order status information? I believe that time has long passed.
There is something seriously wrong with HT order fulfilment systems and customer service.
To avoid a massive waste of time, do not do business with Harris Technology.

Great process to order, but packaging?

When ordering at Harris Technology, you get everything that you wish for: a comfortable and intuitive system that guides you through the process from choosing your items to providing addresses for mailing and billing, and several options for payment. You also get an email confirming dispatch once your order is on the way.

I ordered an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) with Harris Technology end of last week and was very happy with the process up to the point of delivery. When the order arrived at my place, staff of Australia Post told me that the package for the UPS had broken open at the bottom during transport with all the contents falling out. Staff had to collect the contents and repack them. When I received the fixed package, I saw that there actually was no packaging for mailing purposes at all. Harris Technology had just taken the original box with the UPS and put a sticker with posting information on top of it.

It goes by common sense that original packaging of sensitive items like electronics is not sufficient for transportation by mail. My experience is just another proof of this. The least Harris Technology could have done is to strengthen the original packaging by putting extra tape around to prevent the original box from breaking open.

Luckily, there was not any outside damage of the UPS when I checked it. However, there may come up some early internal failure of the UPS from having hit the ground when it fell out the original box. And, of course, I will have no way to prove that this failure is a direct result from this accident that happened because of – well, not careless packaging but – not to pack the item for mailing purposes at all.

To be fair, I have to add that Harris Technology put a “Fragile” sticker onto the original box. That, however, did not help in any way. In result, I am reluctant to order further sensitive electronic items with Harris Technology until they have improved their way to dispatch such items by mail.
