Bad practices

The company has a practice of offering free trial, and then somehow magically enrolling new members into an annual plan without any notice, and without possibility to get a refund. Even if you noticed they charged you and requested a refund on the day it happened... Please note that if you are a European consumer you have a right to a 14-days withdrawal with no questions asked, no matter what is their refund policy. You can "ask ChatGPT for help" if they refuse to refund you. If you're in US I'm sure there are cunsumer protection organisations, especially in California, who could potentially help you if it happens to you.

After 4 months at glo the variety of classes keeps coming back for more.

I have been with glo for 4 months and have been very happy with the teachers, the variety of classes, and being able to pick the duration of the class and level. Sometimes I want 15-20 minutes of 3 different classes instead of an hour long class. There's yoga, pilates, fitness, relaxation, meditation, barre and education videos. I think the variety of classes stands out the most for me.

Don't sign up

Sad to say I'm joining the many who I now see have also experienced the frustration of their predatory billing and a $245 charge for a year's subscription I don't want. In attempts to cancel 5 days after charging, without having used the services, they referred me to their terms and conditions, refusing refund. Don't recommend to anyone.

Glo.com

Just a heads-up for anyone thinking about subscribing to Glo.com — be very careful. They don’t allow cancellations with partial refunds, even if you no longer want the service. The cancellation process is frustrating, and customer support is not helpful. It feels like they don’t value their customers.

Nefarious business practices

I echo the other reviews here.

Extremely sketchy business practices and very disappointing from a yoga brand.

I logged in to cancel but was charged 245 before I was able to (I had not received any warning email and was not aware they automatically enrol you into a recurring subscription - there is no option to turn this off without cancelling..) I was then charged AGAIN for the following year at a reduced rate when I went through the steps to cancel. I am now locked in for TWO years with no way of cancelling. It is not possible to remove credit card details or stop payments- essentially his is theft. Glo say it’s basically my fault… I had no idea they were so dodgy. It’s a shame as I had enjoyed the yoga but I’m too scared to deal with them anymore!!!!

Refusing to refund cancelled membership

When I cancelled my subscription on the renewal date payment went through. Glo.com refused to refund. Dismayed at what the yoga world has become - money money money. I was a member for over a decade, my favorite teachers haven't added classes in years.

Very upset with this company

Very upset with this company. I went 3 days over my “free” week try. Then I was charged $245. I asked for a refund they said we are very sorry but no. We are keeping your money. How about a partial refund. No. When I asked for a refund I got two very apologetic form emails back. Sorry no refund. And yes they did remind me of their polices after they got my money, and yes maybe I did not read the fine print. You would think that with the business and ethos they have they would be more gracious and thoughtful. How about an email the day before reminder that your free week is up tomorrow? Very upset.

BEWARE: Predatory billing. Glo.com (also yogaglow.com) use at your own risk

I definitely do NOT recommend signing up. glo.com and yogaglo.com are PREDATORY. As a yoga business you'd think they are a kind, heartfelt company that cares about people but turns out they are the opposite. (And it's not just me, see their Trustpilot reviews under yogaglow.com) I'm so sad to learn this about a company I thought was decent. :(

Thought I canceled (years ago) but saw the bill on my credit card for $245 and immediately reached out. (I would never have signed up for something that expensive (I think it was a "special" offer I canceled, but the cancelation "didn't go through").

I haven't used it in years. I reached out the day after the payment was processed. Doesn't matter to them. They refuse to refund anything!

What's worse, it's a digital product. Glo.com has lost nothing in refunding my money. Seems so terribly shady. I can't recall such bad customer experience with a company.

If you cancel with Glo.com, be sure to make a record of that for YOUR files, triple-check that you cancel your plan & remove your Credit Card WELL before the plan renews... or better yet... choose a company with a moral compass that actually cares about people and their well-being.

If you're in the same spot, I recommend you contest the bill with your credit card company ASAP.
