Stay Away from This Company ⚠️

I purchased a one-year subscription and contacted them halfway through the year to explain that I hadn’t used my account and that their service was no longer relevant for me. I politely asked for even a partial refund, but they refused.

When I requested to cancel my subscription, their representative told me that doing so would require closing my account entirely — which made no sense, since I had already paid for the remaining months. I specifically said to keep the account active until the end of the paid term, because closing it early would be a waste of money.

And yet, after a full year, they charged me again without any notice or authorization. For what? I made it very clear that I did not wish to renew and that the service was useless for me. This is completely unacceptable, and I strongly advise others to stay away from this company

Webinar Big Failure

We set a webinar and promoted on the social media with paid ads, but the webinar did not start. We immediately got in touch with support, they were also unable to start the webinar. It was a complete failure. We had to get in touch with the enrolled audience one by one to apologize. The support filed an IT ticket however there is no response. The message is very clear we take your money but we do not care.

If anyone is considering using Getresponse for online Webinars, SAVE your money and find a better platform.

I will update this post with the progress.

Absolutely terrible customer service

Absolutely terrible customer service! Been trying to cancel for months now.. don’t give them a card you want to keep. You’ll have to cancel your card to get them to stop charging you!

Absolutely horrible customer service

Absolutely horrible customer service! I’ve been trying to cancel going on six months now and month after month new charges appear each time I contact them to cancel… no luck thus far. I will end having to cancel my debit card just to get these people to stop charging me!

Overpriced, outdated. Still basically the same after a decade of subscriptions.

The editor is absolute rubbish, it cannot stick to a consistent size and font when spacing and copy/pasting from other editors. This should be a BARE MINIMUM BASIC in 2025.

Secondly, the pricing is absolutely outrageous considering how dated the backend interface is. Why are AB tests and automation separate? Just put similar things under 1 category, and make the emails available across all of them. E.g. When I'm building the AR sequence, I can't just copy the winner email/subject lines over and set the send date from signup. I have to copy the entire email and reformat, redo the links all over again.

Thirdly, there is STILL no way edit the name of newsletters after they've been sent, even though they are only for your own reference. The "name" section isn't very obvious initially, and if you forget to add one, you'll just forever have a stupid looking "untitled message" in your sent emails list. It is absolutely crazy that you can't change something as simple as this.

Fourthly, I cannot believe there is no way to simply upload an spreadsheet of emails or create a format that can automate the process of adding bulk content into the sequence, or even exporting the contents. The getresponse backend is dated by atleast 10 years at this point atleast.

I don't need all the fancy landing pagegs, webinars and other nonsense. Maybe consider additional tiers for people that need those products. But again , the price is way too much for most of us that just want to send and test emails and build auto responder sequences.

This platform froze our newsletters

This platform froze our newsletters, yet still continued to charge our non-profit org. We tried to freeze the account but they ended up charging us for services they were not providing for 6 months. Terrible customer service and response is negligent.
