My delivery was scheduled for Thursday by 6PM, yet at 5:30 my parcel was still in Paris, 5 hours away from the destined location. When I called, the employee disconnected when he wasn't able to answer my questions.
The sender has also marked for the order to be delivered to a pick up point, but Fedex changed the delivery to my home address at their own discretion. When I wanted to change it back to a pickup point, they told me it will take another 3-5 business days to make this change. Now, by some miracle, my package is 40 mins from where I live so I offered to pick it up myself, which apparently is also not possible because they cannot locate where it is exactly... never again.

They never came, and they never provided an explanation. I called and left my phone number so the manager could call me back, but he/she never did. I do not recommend this company. /lynne

Awful, cannot deliver. I honestly don’t know how they are still in business. Had 3 parcels with them over the last 4 months. Each one was an ordeal. They love giving you a delivery date and then on the day of tell you they can’t deliver it that day anymore and say they’ll bring it tomorrow instead but I need to be in. I work hence why I choose a specific day when you ask me. This happens multiple times with each delivery. They simply cannot do the task that they exist for

FedEx is able to withdraw money from your card without your consent.
When placing an order with FedEx, you can choose “third-party billing.” Here, you simply type in a username of 9 digits. The system instantly tells you if the username exists, so you can just change the numbers until it finds a match. Then you press “pay” — and FedEx charges the card without any verification or confirmation from the person being billed.
FedEx support has confirmed this is how their system works.
On 27 June 2025, FedEx withdrew 10,147.09 DKK from my card without my consent and without any emails that could have allowed me to cancel the transaction.
Someone in the USA placed a third-party order and used my FedEx username (9 digits) as the payment reference. I noticed the charge as it happened and immediately blocked my card.
The next day, another order was made for 22,727.16 DKK, and the day after that, another for 3,001.68 DKK.
If I hadn’t blocked my card, FedEx would have withdrawn 35,875.93 DKK in just 3 days — without telling me anything.
If I hadn’t spoken to their support and learned this was ongoing, the amount could have been much higher.
Their support staff are fine to talk to, but the system is so broken and corrupt that they can’t fix anything internally because the company is split into global departments. Everything has to go through email, no matter how urgent, because they have no phone numbers for anyone in their own company.
After multiple mistakes, they finally returned my money — 7,145.41 DKK after 18 days, and the remaining 3,001.68 DKK after another 24 days.
They guaranteed from the start that I would get my money back, but I constantly had to follow up. Because of their bad systems, it took 42 days in total for a full refund.
I have asked to speak with their supervisors, management, and press department — no one is reachable.
I’ve been told they will “discuss” the situation internally, but they can’t say whether they will change their payment system.
Given that their current system breaks multiple laws and their handling of the situation is unacceptable, I strongly recommend everyone delete their FedEx account and never use them again.
Absolutely horrendous
Absolument épouvantable. Leur site de suivi fonctionne rarement, et quand c'est le cas, les informations sont erronées. Les livreurs disent avoir appelé et « essayé de livrer », alors qu'en réalité, ils n'ont même pas sonné. Le service client, lorsqu'on trouve un numéro et qu'on peut le joindre, accuse toujours le client et refuse catégoriquement de transmettre l'appel à un responsable. Je ne ferai plus jamais appel à eux.
Absolutely horrendous. Their tracking site hardly ever works, and when it does the information is wrong. The deliverers say they rang and 'tried to deliver''when in fact they never bothered to ring the bell. Customer service - when you can find a number and can get through - always blames the customer and they refuse outright to pass the call to a manager. Will never use them again.
No delivery proof and signature for my signature required delivery, and CS team did not want to support.
Have ordered some valuable items and sender shipped via Fedex International, scheduled delivery on 16 Jul, yet the driver did not attempt to deliver for two days, and on 18 Jul the tracking site all of sudden marked it as delivered. The tracking record looks amended manually since on 18 Jul, there was only one time stamp stating the parcel was delivered in the afternoon, but no location updates for the morning.
When the parcel was delivered, I was away, but since the parcel is a signature required delivery, I believe it will diverted to my concierge.
However, the Fedex driver did not take a picture while delivering it, and Fedex could not provide any documents to prove that the parcel was received and signed by designated recipient.
Fedex now suggested that the driver said it got delivered safely, although without any proof, they are closing my complaint case. Everything is good.
I am sitting here with my paid invoice and nothing received in my hand. If you want to share my experience, you should continue trust Fedex for their wonderful deliver and customer service.

Do not under any circumstances use Fedex France and particularly Fedex Caen. They are pure poison. Use UPS or DHL but Never Ever Fedex. They made no attempt to deliver my UK passport and simply returned it to UK and tried to charge a return fee!!! When i obtained proof no attempt to
deliver was the case i was given an apology and all charges returned but Fedex Caen blocked me. Several parcels hace been sent since and no attempt has ever been made to deliver them. Yesterday there was supposed to be a delivery and i wasted my whole day waiting in for a non delivery Warning Do Not use services of Fedex France You will regret it
Why dont management at Fedex act? Surely they must read these reviews? Either they dont care or are part of the problem. Either way Fedex France is a bad joke but nobody is laughing.

Been at home 2 days, saying it will be delivered before 180:00. Sit waiting doing nothing. Then they say I am not at home. Then when you call some robot answers, no one to talk to. Would not recommend them.
Package care
Received a live bush from Oregon to Florida. The box was undamaged but the contents were beat up badly as if it was thrown around and also appeared to be affected by intense heat conditions. Box was labeled 'Live plant'.
Box was labeled so FedEx could handle with care but did not in this case.

Awful. Can’t even talk to a real person on the phone, they are useless. They said they could not deliver my package because I wasn’t home but I was home all day. I’m trying to reschedule it but even that they are unable to help. I have to travel all the way to a place to pick up my package. Will never rely on them again. AWFUL

Appalling, Dishonest Service — Vital Medication "Delivered" to a Stranger!
FedEx is by far the worst carrier I have ever dealt with. My parcel — containing essential medication — has vanished, marked as "delivered" when it absolutely was not.
Here’s what happened:
On 23/04/2025, I stayed home all day, expecting several deliveries, including my FedEx parcel. Five Amazon packages arrived without any issue — all hand-delivered. FedEx never showed up.
By 5 PM, no delivery. Their chatbot still listed my parcel as "out for delivery." Then, at 5:39 PM, I suddenly received an email falsely claiming a failed delivery attempt due to my "absence" — a blatant lie, as my home care nurse visit and Amazon deliveries prove I was home all day.
I redirected the delivery to the nearest pickup point (Sas Mn Informatique, Paris 10e). FedEx confirmed new delivery for 24/04/2025. I went there several times — the shopkeeper confirmed FedEx never came.
Checking again on 25/04/2025, I found my parcel was marked as delivered to a vague "Résidence" address, signed by someone called "JN.JKB" — a total stranger to me. Meanwhile, Mondial Relay tracking shows FedEx never even handed over the parcel.
I filed a complaint (C-188510579). To this day — no response, no update, no explanation.
This is not an isolated case either. A few months ago, another FedEx parcel from Germany also disappeared (Complaint n° C-161661820).
FedEx’s practices are disgraceful: false delivery claims, missing parcels, no accountability.
Is it now normal for FedEx to employ individuals who falsify delivery records and cover up theft?
I will never trust FedEx again — and I strongly urge others to think twice before using them, especially for vital shipments.
The worst carrier of ALL!
This is the worst carrier I have ever seen in my life.
I get packages from UPS, DHL regularly and always receive them on time, it’s exceptional if a package is delayed. When my package is delivered by FedEx, it’s always stuck in my country waiting to be delivered. I can wait weeks even months to be at last delivered and always with my package completely and utterly destroyed (the package always seems crushed by a truck).
Their customer service is completely useless, they assure you that you will be delivered tomorrow every day of the week. And the package never come.
Terrible service
Ordered parts direct from Hyundai in South Korea. They shipped on Monday and it arrived in Caen France on Thursday. To come the last 90kms to my garage will take 4 days so same as across the world. Terrible service

Day 1. Delivery from Denmark sent by "FedEx® International Connect Plus" service and scheduled for Thursday 3 April, confirmed by FedEx France by sms. No delivery. No call. Local office excuse: driver couldn't deliver (without offering any valid reason or proof). Local office promises delivery for the next day.
Day 2. Email at 06h12 from Fedex France that package will be delivered today Friday 4 April. I call FedEx France at 09h00 to verify, as I do not want to spend another entire day waiting for nothing. Serivce client agent tells me in fact it will not be delivered before Monday April 7 because local office could not fit it into todays delivery schedule. In fact I would have been wasting my day again If I had not called myself.
Conclusion: complete breakdown between Local and Corporate business delivery. Ad hoc local work force here in south-east France. Use this E-commerce service at your own risk.
Important UPDATE: Change from 1 to 3 stars. Package left at property at aproximately 10h00 Friday 4th. Driver called to let me know. I am not even going to try to understand.
FEDEX=FEDUP.
There is a reason why this once respected company was number one now ranked outside the top 20 for a reason. Incompetent, deceiving and useless now describes this company. I took the day off to work from home watched and waited on the app saying it was on its way. Then Fedup then sends a text telling me I wasn’t home and attempted delivery , to add insult the operator then tells me I can go and pick it up. I’ve already instructed our Japan office to stop using FEDUP .

My parcel was due to be delivered on the 19th of March.....this is according to fedex tracking.
It is now the 24th of March and there is NO sign of my parcel and NO tracking update!
Yet again fedex demonstrate just how incompetent they are!
DO NOT USE fedex IF YOU WANT YOUR PARCEL DELIVERED SAFELY AND SECURELY!
Not a serious company
For the love of god... Please avoid this service at all costs... Not only they are unable to provide any delivery in time but they also spam you saying delivery is coming while it gets constantly delayed, info that should be communicated imo... Better, notify us when product will arrive, be professional and stop being that culprit kid spotted at skipping his homework... (reminder, you're supposed to be grown man btw ...)
There are some serious alternatives so in the name of all customers please stop forcing us getting through this.

Fedex France is beyond incompetent. Who polices these lazy and sloppy employees? They seem to be removed from reality in communicating with anyone. Lost large packages. They have no clue where they are. One of the most poorly managed locations. Office closed on weekends?
