Don't do it, read reviews, they're there for a reason

Bro, should have read the review here. LOL the business makes money by giving you a fake price and then confirming with a higher price. Believe me, when I say you'll regret using them, I used Skyscanner and got the price they provide, felt that got the cheapest price there is to get, then the next day I got a bunch of calls at work which went to voicemail saying there was an increase in the ticket price, I know should have read reviews. Amazing how government agencies don't ban these companies and make them bankrupt for false advertisement and deceiving consumers. Anyway, you're on your own, i.e. helpless, if you still plan on using them.

They are cheaters

They are cheaters. I book ticket from them and i got called from their customer service saying that fare has been increased and i have to pay increased fare otherwise my ticket will be cancelled. i told them to cancel the ticket if they cannot give me the published fare. They cancelled the ticket. I went to airlines website and got ticket cheaper than exploretrip published fare. Exploretrip is scamming people. Do not use them.

SCAM ALERT!!! DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY!!! These people are straight up scammers. I tried booking a flight four months ago and I got a message saying it was unable to process. I even called to make sure it was not processed as I was going to get the ticket elsewhere. Two days later lo and behold I was charged for said “ticket”. I’ve called, with no exaggeration, six seperate times and all six times I’ve been told different info, and everyone I spoke to (aside from the supervisor) refused to provide any email confirmation about what we had spoken on the phone. The first said he was processing my refund and to be on the look out for it within the next 7-10 business days. After 7-10 business days, I called again and Shane told me that it was still being processed and to wait another 7-10 days. After that I spoke to an extremely rude and unprofessional Arianna who ended up hanging up on me. Then there was Clive who informed me that no refund was being processed and to call the airline. Then I spoke to a “supervisor” named William who finally sent me a confirmation email on my refund, told me to wait another 10 business days for my refund to kick in. 10 days later, nothing. Called again to ask about the refund and was told to wait until July 10th, two entire months since I was robbed from this “company”, to get my refund. Once that date rolled around and got no refund, I decided not to deal with these incompetent scamming clowns anymore and go straight to my bank to fight the charge. All that just to be refunded HALF!!! DO NO USE THESE SCAMMERS THEY WILL QUITE LITERALLY STEAL YOUR MONEY!!!!!!!!!

They have cheap tickets but are a terrible company

This company has given me the run around with a ticket I booked. They lie, each rep has a different story and the supervisors are rude and yell at customers. I was informed by the airline that they refunded all tickets to Japan due to the country sign closed during the pandemic. When I called explore trip to inquire about the refund they are giving me the run around . Despite my own knowledge they even got me to pay an extra $200 to keep the ticket to get a credit despite the country being closed.

Today I spoke with a “ supervisor” Santiago who yelled at me , interrupted me when I was speaking and would not let me voice my disappointment in the company ( which as a supervisor he is supposed to take complaints and hopefully make corrections ). This is very disheartening and I will never use this company again. I will also be issuing my social media platforms to express my grievances with this company in hopes to warn others.

Scam Organization

Terrible Fraud Organization
The airline delayed the flight by 24 hours and we cancelled the ticket. And it has been over 1.5 years and we are still struggling to get our refund. When I call the agent they say Airline has not refunded the amount so they can't refund. And the Airline says to get in touch with the the agent since the ticket was done through them. The Exploretrip refund team says, the process of requesting refund from the airline is via EMAIL which is a huge red flag. I still haven't got my refund. They're running a scam.

Offer good price, but then their agents try to trick you into paying higher price citing a price increase in airline side...

Avoid this company at all cost! I have booked a trip through their website at the listed price. They haven't charged my card for 2 days and haven't issued a ticket. First day they sent an email saying there was a problem with card authorization and asked to send my card details and passport which I never had to do with other agent. Second day agent called me a said the they have verified my card, but the flight price have gone up by $150 and asked me to authorize the ticket purchase at new price and quickly sent an email to acknowledge new booking at new price. I had to agree to their proposal since the by the time they come to the booking the prices with other agents have gone up. Strangely after this call they charged my card for the originally booked price and separately charged for $150 straight after the phone call from the agent.

There was a mix up in what I paid for…

There was a mix up in what I paid for (paid for a flight back but there was a layover in between and two flights were needed and one wasn’t counted for) but they were able to take care of that for me. Just need a little more clarity next time.

Steer clear or bear the consequences

Heed the other reviewers that say it's a scam or they're painfully incompetent. This company is obviously based in India, where they can't seem to get anything right. I booked through SkyScanner, and it went through to them. I got a call from one of their agents within the hour of booking to say that the price went up and that I needed to be charged more. After accepting, the agent said that now the flight will be confirmed and that I can be worry-free, and that I would receive a receipt in the email about the new transaction. The email never arrived, and out of an abundance of caution, when I called them a couple of days later, they said that the flight is not confirmed yet!! What the?! Now I had just wasted 2 days of time when the price of the flight has gone up!

It's obvious to me that this company is so incompetent that they likely don't even have anything automated, so when someone books a ticket, there's likely a person manually making calls and pushing buttons, which is so archaic and error-prone. Never again. Steer far clear of this company.

Scam and avoid at all costs

Scam. Chargeback if you can. They will call you and say the fare increased but when you check the airlines site and see the receipt the price never increased. They are liars who hang up the phone on you. Calling the support line is a joke the phone just rings. And then someone from a subsidiary of Mondee Inc will pick up and hang up on you. It's a company based in India with a US address.

Good price

The price was good and the process was very easy. But it coast me 300$ cause I made a mistake on my sons name. I didn't think that would coast me but it did I changed it 45 minutes later.

If I could give a negative rating I would. Customer Support is rude and unprofessional. Long wait times to talk to a representative. My reservation was canceled and no one from this disorganization managed to inform me. Their website still shows my flight is confirmed.
