I have had the most wonderful…

I have had the most wonderful experience with Charlie Paris. I accidentally ordered the wrong watch band and they were so prompt in fixing that for me. The watch band is holding up well, is comfortable, soft in all the right places. Will be buying from here again! Thank you so much.

57% price rise since April!

The watch I bought from Charlie in April 2025 now costs 57% more (September '25) than it did then. Can anyone at Charlie tell us why they've implemented such steep price increases? I was going to buy another as a gift, but not now.

Awesome watch, incredible service, great brand.

I first encountered Charlie Paris from stumbling across their boutique in my favourite district of Paris, between Odeon and St Michel. I've stood staring into the window on several occasions, quietly longing but never going as far as a purchase.

I've tracked their designs through my modest collecting journey, and was stunned by their new Concordia Azur which is both a beautiful rendering of my favourite colour palette and evocative of my favourite place in the world - the Cote d'Azur. I was immediately obsessed.

At the same time I then encountered both the stunning new GRX, a fresh and fun design take on the chronograph and also the GR Chrono, and making a singular choice has been hard to pin down, especially with the Concordia Azur sparking an obsession.

I emailed CP to raise a couple of pre-sales enquiries about styles and movements and Anne-Sophie responded really quickly with on point answers and stayed with me throughout my back and forth. She pointed me to the 5% sign-up Newsletter discount and also advised me of the annual birthday 10% discount for registered customers.

I hovered with items in my basket for a while, certain on my love for the Concordia Azur but uncertain of how its modest 38mm case would look on a large wrist. Anne-Sophie reassured me of a generous returns policy and unfortunately once I decided to commit to the Azur as an indulgence, it reported on the website as fully sold out and my basket became void.

I contacted Anne-Sophie to check any restock plans and there were none at the time - certainly a fast selling beautiful item - but to my surprise she came back from checking boutique stock and found me the one remaining unit on the steel bracelet as was my preference and had already reserved it for me pending my approval.

Wonderful service and only served to concrete my need to buy. The purchase was arranged online and quickly paid by PayPal.

I completed the order Thursday morning and immediately received confirmation, a pledge to ship immediately via DHL (shipping included in price) and that was quickly followed with tracking numbers and updates via WhatsApp.

DHL quickly updated on Friday morning to tell me the parcel was in their custody, on route to the UK and would arrive on Monday. Shortly after I received a note to tell me the watch was out for delivery by 1pm Friday which I assumed was an error. It wasn't, and arrived in lass than 24 hours from Paris.

That's service!

Due to my shared affection for the Cote d'Azur and French watches with my wife I decided to open the watch up in her presence. We were both wowed by how stunning yet understated the watch is in the flesh. It's simply beautiful for something so good value and I'm smitten. Quality is excellent, the watch has a little heft and presence, the finishing immaculate and it lines up to be a dream GADA with diver properties. Presentation is excellent and comes with a well made screwdriver for the bracelet adjustment and three spare links in a separate cloth bag. I had to add two links in to fit me loosely, and the micro-adjust positions in the bracelet will nicely deal with the slack.

And then my wife confiscated it because she decided she wants to buy it for me for my birthday next month as it's exactly what she'd have chosen for me from the boutique window. Absolute bonus! And the joy of knowing it actually came from the boutique and not a stockroom...

Absolutely in love, endlessly grateful and impressed for CP's kind customer service and committed engagement with me...

Looking forward to my next indulgence and to take up the warm invite to a visit to the boutique.

I sent my Charlie watch in for warranty…

I sent my Charlie watch in for warranty service due to a strange movement noise. It came back as "No Fault Found," but then the movement failed just a month after the warranty expired. Despite owning four Charlie watches, they're making me pay for the repair. This feels very unsupportive, especially as a longtime fan of the brand (particularly the original Concordia).
Still a good to have innovative French brands but I'm not a fan of their new design direction and I've been a bit disappointed by the customer experience (both in boutique and after-service).

Super service.

Service was fantastic. I sent an email question regarding one of their watches, it was answered within hours. Very helpful. The watch I finally ordered shipped in just a couple of days. DHL to the States could have been quicker. But, that's not a Charlie problem.

Accused of lying by CS

Update:
It is not me having decided I don't like the watch, I like everything but the colour which I chose to live with and was getting to be happy with on your advice. I have been keeping a close eye on it as the rose is so synthetic looking it looked a bit cheaply done. As I thought, it is wearing off from rubbing against my skin. I am therefore incredibly concerned it will not last based on the way the finish has deteriorated in 2 weeks so I wanted to resolve it quickly before I get stuck with it (as the warranty is so caveated I wonder what on earth it covers). Little did I realise you would assume I was a liar the second I emailed you and not honour a genuine concern from a customer. Because you believe I don't want the watch you have decided I am lying and immediately started with accusations just as the reviewer below. Your tone was so dismissive it was upsetting to receive your emails. I was wondering how you got such good reviews but it seems you only treat some of your customers with contempt. I seem to be one of them. A nice treat absolutely ruined. Thanks Julia.

This watch does not look like the pictures and the rose plating is already oxidising and turning grey where it touches my skin (after 2 weeks). Customer service will not listen and keep saying it must be scratched. All I have done is wear the watch at my office job. it is not a scratch. I spent my bonus on this watch and am so disappointed by Charlie Paris. The good reviews come from those who haven't had to deal with customer services. Do not waste your money. Trust the bad reviews, they are not wrong. My watch and my £400 are going in the bin.

Cette montre ne ressemble pas aux photos et le placage rose s'oxyde déjà et devient gris là où il touche ma peau (au bout de 2 semaines). Le service client n'écoutera pas et n'arrête pas de dire qu'il doit être rayé. Tout ce que j'ai fait, c'est porter la montre au travail. ce n'est pas une égratignure. J'ai dépensé mon bonus pour cette montre et je suis tellement déçu par Charlie Paris. Les bonnes critiques viennent de ceux qui n’ont pas eu affaire au service client. Ne gaspillez pas votre argent. Faites confiance aux mauvaises critiques, elles n’ont pas tort. Ma montre et mes 400 £ partent à la poubelle.

I will email you photos of a watch from our collection, worn by one of our watchmakers for nearly two years. This particular model shares the same rose gold finish as yours. You will see that while the color has naturally transitioned to a slightly more yellowish undertone over time, there is absolutely no evidence of oxidation or any gray marks resembling those on your crown.

Once again, I extend my sincere apologies for any disappointment you may have experienced with our customer service. Regrettably, it seems that unless our response aligns with your expectations, you will be unsatisfied with our answers.

First of all, we understood that you were disappointed by the rose gold color of your watch upon receipt. After considering a return, you ultimately chose to keep your watch.

Just two weeks later, you have contacted us again because you noticed a small gray mark on your crown. Based on the photos you sent us, it is clear that this is not an oxidation.
Furthermore, the rest of your watch, including the case, does not show any similar marks, suggesting that the crown may have been accidentally rubbed somewhere, causing this mark.

Given the situation, it appears that you have changed your mind about your initial decision to keep the watch. However, as it has already been worn, you seem to be insisting on a supposed plating defect, which does not exist in order to get a refund.

Also , please note that we have received multiple positive feedback on the quality of our customer service. It is very unfortunate to think of our company as "awful" as we are unable to accommodate your request.

Deducted 35€ from my Return for…

Deducted 35€ from my Return for „damage“ on the crown. The damage couldn't have occured through me. I only looked at the watch and then decided to return it without even setting the time. There is no way i possibly damaged the watch by taking a look at it. Maybe the watch was already damaged when it arrived at my home. Support doesnt answer through mail, my review on their site was blocked.

Regarding your answer: I thank you for your time. Still, i stand by what i said. I didn't use the crown at all. Blaming the customer in this situation is not professional. Neither is blocking negative reviews on your site. Im the last person to voice overly harsh criticism all the time as i believe people tend to exaggerate their experiences, especially on the Internet. This was the only time i felt i had to say something because i feel robbed. Be warned!

After inspecting your watch in our workshop, our watchmaker has found damage to the screw thread, probably caused by forcing the crown back the wrong way.

It is important to note that all our watches undergo rigorous quality control before being released for sale. A problem like this one would have been easily detected by our watchmakers during this inspection.

In order to restore the watch so that it can be put back on sale, our watchmakers now have to replace the tube and the crown.

Although we could have refused the return and sent the watch back to you as is, we have chosen to offer you a solution by deducting the 35€ repair costs from your refund.
